Another visit with another computer which was giving me grief. Another first class job and very quick as well. Highly recommended company to deal with and the staff are so professional. I encountered a problem with my laptop and being self employed, I was desperate to get it repaired as soon as possible. I found out about 'Fast Computers' from the MK Flyer publication so called the guys. Everything about 'Fast' was superb from start to finish - really friendly and helpful people, great and efficient service and they kept me informed throughout. Above all with the priority service, they picked it up from my home and dropped it back on a Saturday evening! Where else do you get service like that. The guys at FAST sorted the problem and were really helpful at getting me back up and running and at a very fair price. I have nothing but high praise for them and can certainly recommend Fast Computers. Thanks guys for sorting my problem and for massively reducing my stress levels!

Exceptional job completed by Dan at PC Repairs Welwyn. Spilt juice on my laptop that was subsequently condemned. Well what can I say more than what has already been said!
We had a systems crash this morning at work and I called Raja out to have a look at the server. He promptly arrived and inspected the PC and diagnosed the problem. Un fortunately it could not easily be fixed but he was a great help through out the day taking all my calls as I liaised with support services for our software we use.
I would highly recommend Raja if you need quick,efficient local PC support!

I am updating my review after finally getting my PC fixed (I am leaving first experience in here but I think I need to share the information I have now. I spent few weeks struggling to make my laptop work and as i was said all the freezing was my fault as I asked to install windows 8.1 I decided to install windows 10. Guess what? It didn't work out. And it became obvious the problem is still in hardware. Yes, my laptop was dropped so I assumed it could be different problem which fix my pc didn't find (no, it still was hard drive). I gave up but kept the laptop. After some time I decided to ask other company to have a look and check what was the problem and I was pretty surprised to find out I have got faulty and most likely used harddrive at Fix my PC as I was said I have got hardware from lenovo laptop in my Acer. It is my fault I didn't ask for warrenty or to see details about what was installed in my laptop but I want to warn whoever wants to use the service - if you get anything changed try to make sure the hardware you got is new (what I was suggested later is to ask for original packege and documentation+to ask to see broken piece to make sure it was really replaced). I spent good money for nothing and I am trying to think about it as about a lesson, but you guys better learn from my mistakes and don't do them in future.

Have to change my feedback.
After trying to restart my laptop I've got problem with booting windows. Spent all Sunday on trying enter OS, and all monday for searching what was the problem. Well. The drivers were not installed for my PC. So I went autosearch. No any result. Went for acer website, found my model, found drivers, installed it...
I suppose, somehow windows could not find drivers, and technician skipped healthcheck. Then I have got wonderfull weekend with google and strong nerves, as without drivers I had to wait hours on performing easy steps.
I agree, it is my fault I did not check laptop properly, but it was in sleeping mode, and it "woke up" smoothly when i tried. the problems appeared after trying to restart computer.
Would I recommend service? Yes.
But please, be more attentive! I did not want to know how to install all this things, I relied on you and payed for it:)

I have never been a customer myself however recently someone tried to steal my identity and open several accounts using my name and address. Lloyds were brilliant about the whole thing. I had 'my' account closed within minutes using only the crime reference number and a copy of my ID. Everyone was very kind about the situation.

UPDATE 3: Adam was very helpful as well. Not sure what happened. Last week no one would tell us anything or knew anything, thankfully our solicitor has been very helpful. They aren't sure why they sent a statement with missing money. How does a bank send an annual statement with missing money and no one knows anything and suddenly it's not missing.
UPDATE 2: Simon from the Bereavement department tonight was very helpful and seemed to be aware of the problems and was aware of some of the issues we have been having.
UPDATE: Some of the money has finally made it to the right account. Micheal in the Fraud Department was actually quite smart and diligent.
If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 stars I would. My husband's mom died quite awhile ago. The solicitor handled the estate exceptionally. The bank withheld over 10,000 pounds from depositing to my husband's account. Last week he spoke to a man with the "bereavement" department and they assured my husband they would deposit the money that was missing. It is now a week later and they haven't done anything. We have written letters, been up in the middle of the night calling them (we live on the other side of the world). They are completely incompetent. So far NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. No one can tell us anything. No one does what they say they will do. We also have over 3,000 pounds "missing" that no one can tell us where it went or why. So total screw ups from them are almost 15,000 pounds. So far tonight the Fraud Department who he called because he is saying they have committed fraud against him for losing money and not knowing where it is.
I will update this review once this is resolved.

I booked an interview to set up a bank account with this particular branch. When I arrived it seemed they hadn't slotted me in so I had to wait and book again. When I finally had an appointment the agent who served me was unprofessional, childish and had no regard for personal content.
Anyway, it was all set up and fine until I received my card and details in the post. My name had been spelt wrong on the card and it was not a case of misinformation as my passport was in full view and spelt correctly. I attempted to get it sorted within the same place but I was met with some very unhelpful people. I ended up going to the branch on George Street instead and it was all sorted.
Needless to say I was not at all impressed with the initial branch I went to and have not been back since.

Switched to Metro due to poor customer service at the bank I was with previously. Metro have never let me down on this front. Members of staff are always helpful, polite and friendly. The waiting times are always absolutely minimum. I'm always in and out of the branch with the minimum of fuss. Today I was served by Tracy who was exceptional. She greeted me like I was an old friend she hadn't seen in ages. Her enthusiasm was amazing.

As it is no local to me I use this branch rarely - the last time over a year ago. Despite being very busy a " meet and greeter" asked me to take a seat and my query was dealt with entirely to my satisfaction.
This time it was less busy. However all the three "meet and greeters" did was direct everyone to the back of a long queue. Although my query was dealt with it was not entirely to my satisfaction!

There are always long queues and sometimes staff won't even help and you just have to stand. One Woman required a passport and driving license to open a bank account here, whereas at nationwide they did not need both and I only had to show passport and no hassle it was better :)

I don't use the branch other than to collect currency orders for a business account. The staff are very nice but there's just not enough of them. I spent 35 minutes queuing today to get to the cashier. Others were waiting for the self service machines which had all packed up! The one star is for the queue times, not the staff.

Only one cashier sitting on the counter when it’s very busy, I asked the lady if she could open a second counter up and she was extremely rude and abrupt to me telling me what did I want, and once I told her I wanted to pay money in she told me I had to use the machine, I told her that I wanted to speak to someone but she wouldn’t help me. For some reason it's not possible to talk to a Barclays personal banker at the branch you bank with!!! Their phone no on line takes you to a call centre who then attempts to transfer you to the branch but nobody answers the phone, so to ask if I had left a personal item I had to drive there. If there is no decent PC repair shop in your area, send you storage device to data recovery lab from the nearest post office. You can pay for recovery services or software registration at any bank.
Stop using the device where you used to keep the deleted data.
Work of the operating system, installation of programs, and even the ordinary act of connecting a disk, USB drive or smartphone to the computer will create new files that might overwrite the deleted data - and thus make the recovery process impossible. The best solution would be to shut down the computer of power off your phone and outline an action plan. If turning off the device is impossible, try to use it as little as possible.
Make up a list of devices where the necessary files have been saved.
Try to remember the chain of events from creating the files to deleting them. You may have received them by email, downloaded from the Internet, or you may have created them on another PC and then brought them home on a USB drive. If the files in question are personal photos or videos, they can still be available on the memory card of your camera or smartphone. If you received the information from someone else - ask them for help. The sooner you do it the more chances you have to recover what is lost.
Use the list of devices to check them for the missing files, their backup copies or, at least, the chance to recover the deleted data from such devices.
