Booked in my machine and was informed it would be repaired within a week. Called the following week - not done, called the next week and was informed they were moving premises (which I wasn't made aware of on initial booking) so still not repaired. Each time I called I was promised a call back with an update, which never happened. Four weeks and several phone calls after first booking it in, it hadn't even been looked at so I took it back to be repaired somewhere else, but first I have to remove the messy sticker that was kindly left on it.
Their repair skills might be top notch, but I never got the chance to find out. Last time I put my faith in local business over an online service.

I have a friend who has been trying for a number of days to collect a parcel I sent from Sherborne, Dorset. I accidentally put No.2 on her address instead of No.1 and now, although she has proof of who she is and who sent it, no one will release it to her. Presumably parcels only go to the number on the label and not to the person. It isn't good enough. Her neighbours at No.2 are away presently and, of course, are not of the same name in any case.
I believe this is wrong and the people in the office do not seem helpful or apologetic.

Contradictory to what others have (very detailed) written... I have been visiting this store for over a year and they have never failed to fix and accommodate.
They have always been very helpful and polite. I have always been provided with a receipt as well, so not sure what others have experienced.
The common sense approach is... If your mobile device/tablet etc.. is that important to you, pay full price and go back to the manufacturer and and their price! It'll be 5-10 times the price you'll pay at A - Z Smartphone. You do the maths!
This is a very busy shop, so you make your mind up over the one sided unconfirmed other statements in these reviews.

I would advise that anyone thinking of using this shop AVOID!!! Plenty of honest and competitive alternatives out there. This disgraced con artist not only avoids giving receipts but then refuses to refund on faulty items. It is required that all shops, by law, have to provide a receipt. This is all being reported to trading standards. Everyone is entitled to a refund within 14 days (cooling off period) BY LAW. It is your right as a consumer to challenge these charlatans and demand a receipt.

*WARNING* took my google pixel 2 xl into the shop to have a microphone repaired. told that all work was warranted and if i had any problems to return. 2 days later i was back as the phone had a different issue that was not there before phone had been repaired. he took the phone and said that he would look at it. 5 days later i called to see if my phone was ready. he used all the excuses of changing the shop around as to why he couldn't plug in his heat gun and just look at the phone for me. call ended with me just asking for an estimated time that he would be able to look at it and denied all accountability to any thing that he could have inadvertently done whilst repairing the phone and told me to come and collect the phone. so warranty is worth the paper its written on NOTHING.
to summarize i would go else where to have your phone or laptop repaired. terrible customer service as didn't even open the phone back up to check that all his work was ok. i found him to be rude and very unhelpful.
its not often that i post a review, in fact this is the first but feel that i should warn others before they end up with similar issues.
phone was taken to a different repair shop last night and was informed that the damage most probably happened taking off the screen. they also stated that had i gone to them first they would have said that the screen would need replacing at the same time due to how delicate they are. because of this i am now the cost down of repair and left with a broken phone. *STAY AWAY*

I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. I’ve never found the staff rude or unhelpful, once I forgot to bring ID and staff were really apologetic. People would moan if they just handed parcels out to anybody. Like others I find the only negative is beyond their control which is lack of parking spaces. Only in there for 5 mins max but only spaces are now all disabled bays.

Lady that served me today was very rude, after being told my ID wasnt sufficient (debit card) name had faded and couldnt be read, also name that had been written on the collection card didn't match my details.
I was then told, when saying that were they not able to read my surname.......they had a better education than I did.
I'm so upset by this confrontation, who are they to second guess??

Went in today, my son likes to look at the animals on the cards, the man who works there snatched the card from my sons hands telling him hes not allowed to touch, I explained that my son is very gentle and just liked to look at the cards the man said its not a game and hes not allowed to look. Left my son in tears. Disgusting behaviour. The ladies who work there are lovely and very helpful. Completely let down by the rude man.

I found this to be a better post office than the Havant branch (horrendous). It’s a post office within a shop. The shop owner is, well, rude, but the post office employee lady took my parcel without any hassle, politely, and competently (this was Saturday 22nd sept 2018), making me feel at ease and almost confused by the high quality of service. The high quality of service is totally absent at the Havant and Leigh Park branches (which make me re-evaluate my life every time I have to use them, the Leigh Park one is so bad I have seen people break down in actual tears). There was also almost no queue. The other reviews concern me though, so I will remain cautious. The review saying this closes before 5 pm Saturday - to update anyone, this branch closes at 3 pm Saturday which it says online and on the door.

Slow service even though there was only one person in front of me, then the two young ladies decided to have a long conversation before serving me, no smile or apology, plus they then had to use a calculator to deal with my simple request, unbelievable!
This small Post Office is at the back of another store in the high street opposite McDonalds, & i should imagine it gets really busy in there at certain times, since the original Post Office that closed down was so much bigger & spacious to queue.

Remember that simpsons episode where you have the children saying "Stop. Stop! He's already dead" Currently a Meme, this is exactly the situation with this post office. This has to be one of the most demoralising, unhelpful, sad post offices I've ever seen. The door to the "Office" was open, even though there is safety glass as well as a reinforced door, so robbing it wouldn't post too much of an issue. Letters in bags are dumped uncerimoniously into a corner. The girl behind the glass was about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot. It's without a doubt, the most depressing place in Havent, that includes the graveyard. I can only recommend closing the post office completely and save the embarrassment of having this travisty open any longer.
If you need a post office, go anywhere else, literally ANYWHERE!

Asda at Havant is a very large store, with a big George section, a pharmacy a cafe. Fantastic pizza counter and bakery. They have the photo cake machine too, as well the photo gift section. They sell almost everything, The staff are helpful and friendly. If you are on a budget stick to your list because this store is so big it is easy to overspend. The store is like a time vacuum there is no nipping in and out, you can easily lose hours in here. It can be difficult to find things, it is easier to find the Free From range online and have it delivered. Not a store to take ASD kids in, sensory overload. The car park gets busy and at peak times it can take a long time to get out of the car park. So much so that if the weather is hot and you have children in the car make sure you have a drink for them. Leave in plenty of time if you are picking the kids up from school. If you are popping in for a quick sandwich on your lunch break go somewhere else, unless you can walk in. I kid you not I have seen coach loads pull up to buy snacks, drinks and use the toilets. BUSY STORE!

If there is no decent PC repair shop in your area, send you storage device to data recovery lab from the nearest post office. You can pay for recovery services or software registration at any bank.
Stop using the device where you used to keep the deleted data.
