The best independent computer and repair shop I've used.
I'm not over exaggerating when I say this. A colleague had a water damaged Mac which saw Apple not interested in recovering the data (not a big shock). I took this in to Blue Gnome where they bent over backwards to help me and prioritised the turnaround allowing my colleague to have all his documents for the weekend. They even stayed open late for me to collect it.
This is the perfect example of going the extra mile and I will recommend you getting a quote or even just seeing your options in store at what can be done.
FYI - I paid £115 for a data transfer from a broken mac which was turned around in 10 hours. Currys PC World charge a minimum £190 with a 1 week PLUS!
Will definitely use again and will no doubt be back with all my computing issues.

Having tried other computer stores in the twickenham/Richmond area, I can honestly say this is hands down the best one around. Gavin was extremely knowledgeable and useful, he fixed my mac in less then one hour for a more then reasonable price. after a quick inspection he found the problem and revived my (what I thought was dead) computer. no one is perfect but Gavin might be the next best thing. if you're having any issues with you computer its worth the visit!

We always use Blue Gnome and they excelled themselves a couple of weeks ago. Brand-new laptop was badly damaged and they had it repaired and in full working order the following day. Very friendly and amazing service.

Has an issue with my laptops battery so took it in. For whatever reason the issue didn't continue once it was in the shop so no work was needed. Went in to pick it up and he wouldn't accept any money despite him spending time testing the battery etc. Seems like a very honest place, would definitely go again if I needed computer repair.

I have used Aria computer Chiswick London for a few years and their service is excellent.I have had 2 hard drives replacements at my request without having to buy a new Mac laptop. They also helped me to upload thousands of photos onto the iCloud and answered technical queries with understandable answers. They always ring with a quote before proceeding with the job .
They return it when they say they will. Ash and Sam are good at customer service and I have recommended friends who have been very pleased with their service.

My laptop had a bit of a heart attack and the staff were extremely helpful. The service they gave went above and beyond to help resolve the problems. Where do I begin? I had a phone that went bust and brought it to them. I was told £30 to start off with. Then Masood said up to £50. I clearly told him not a penny over 30 pounds as the phone is not worth it. Came to pick up the phone after a few days only to find out they are charging me £45. When asked "why so much when I have you clear instructions not to exceed £30" the answer was "I don't know".
A joke of a business with no scruples. Stay away from them.

Cannot comment yet on the quality of their work, but certainly Customer Service is not something they specialise in. Never once got a phone call to update me on progress - had to do all the chasing myself. Then when I came to pay the bill and queried the wording on the invoice that the work had not been 'demonstrated to satisfaction' I was told very sullenly to do it myself. I had been warned against using this company and won't do so again.

I wanted to buy a printer in the Kingston store which was marked on sale (Monday). Box wasn't under the counter so I was sent away to buy online. I couldn't find it online. So, today (Friday) I rang and said I wanted to come in and buy it: did they still have it? Could they find the box? I was told to come in and they could sell me that display printer. However, when I got to the store there was no record of my call, no box could be found and the box had the cables and in it ... so no, they couldn't sell it to me. An attempt was then made to sell me a different comparable printer - ...at either twice the price or twice the size. Oh and they also told me PC World doesn't put its clearance items online ... why didn't the salesperson know that on Monday?

I purchased a DVD Writer just under 2 years ago here, I even kept the receipt. Went into the store at Kingston and was extremely disappointed to learn that they could not exchange it but also that they did not think to offer to repair given that they have a department offering this particular service.
Unfriendly, avoid eye contact and zero customer service. AVOID. Under the Sale of Goods Act if a product does. not work it is not fit for purpose, much like the staff.

Staff not the most attentive overall even if the store is pretty huge and well equipped. We stood around for 20mins trying to get some service but everyone was either otherwise engaged or just ignored us. Otherwise a massive selection of electronics to look through.

This branch needs a new breath of life. Staff are rude and unhelpful. The opening hours do not accommodate working people and Royal Mail is stuck in old fashioned ways which are frustrating and make it unnecessarily harder to collect your own deliveries. I was asked to provide a bank statement as a proof of address in order to collect a letter! I said that I do not get paper statements sent (waste of paper and all) but I could log into my secure online banking and download an online statement with the address on. Response was they will only accept it unless it is physically printed which is actually less secure and such a waste of time and resource but rules are the rules even if they were set 20 years ago! I’ve wasted 2 trips to Richmond now taking time out of work in order to collect a letter which is a service they get paid to do. Maybe rather than returning to the sender after 18 days they could attempt to redeliver it with the same effort and actually provide the service they’re paid to do.

I was waiting for a very important document which require for a meeting at my workplace. It was one day guaranteed delivery and when I tracked it, it just said they were unable to deliver it and it has gone to the returns center! I was in the office all day! Absolute joke! There is a reason why we send it on guaranteed delivery!! Very bad service.

Pretend to deliver to your address but do not ring the bell when you are in and do not deliver to the address you have provided as an alternative … expect you to go down to the office and pick your parcels up yourself?? When you have already paid for a delivery service it should not be left for you to pick up parcels and do their job for them - incredibly frustrating!! No service to speak of - no stars if I could!

What an awful experience, waiting to be seen and then getting redirected to a machine that didn’t help me one bit, in that time the people waiting behind me were being served! When I walked back to the counter the lady had gone, and she came back she told me that they do not allow dogs in the bank but I will still serve you, I explained he was a service dog as he is serving my PTSD anxiety and is also a diabetic hypo alert dog “ We only allow guide dogs“ I explained he was a service dog which she explained “ People could be allergic to dogs“!!! What a pathetic answer, i’ve been in and out of Richmond branch for years with a dog and this is the first time this has happened I am disgusted! He was doing his Job by nosing my hand and tugging on his lead as my Anxiety was increasing!

Not everyday i leave a review for a bank but i had to after the excellent service i got from the staff there. Was annoyed at the long queue in the branch but the person at the front desk - Alina was very helpful and showed me how to deposit a cheque without me having to queue up.
Also booked me an app with a Mr Khan to discuss a new mortgage product which i hadn't even thought about. Wish every bank had helpful staff like this...

Another wasted trip to the Richmond upon Thames branch. The staff here are friendly and do their best, the problem is that there are simply not enough of them. The tellers always appear tied up with banking questions and queries, usually by clients with foreign based accounts. This means an inexcusable wait to make a simple pay in or make a cash withdrawal. Its not acceptable.

This branch had excellent service and I had enjoyed coming in to do my banking. It is very unfortunate that the staff are instructed to flogg their banking app and other products. My previous experience was horrendous since the casher was trying to flog products which I clearly do not want. It was a real battle to convince the guy that I did not want them. I felt belittled and quite honestly will be transferring my account to another bank or building society. I am not prepared to fight or argue with these people. They do not want any customers

If you a missing the personal experience we should have from a bank you need to try this one. The staff are unbelievable they even remembered my name. This branch made me feel special and lets face it we all want to feel special. I found the staff to be very attentive and willing to help unlike my previous branch that wanted me to talk to a machine for all my banking needs and automated services and oversea call centres.
So if you want to experience a real bank that has taught it staff about customer services then you have to try this one.

Cheque machine always broken! This branch is incredibly old fashioned and slow. The staff seem to be friendly - always happy to have a good old chat with the OAP clients - however you need to be prepared for a 20-30 minute wait to do anything at the counter, no matter how small or quick it would normally be at another branch. I try to avoid this branch whenever I can.

Fantastic staff, normally from the richmond branch. Unfortunately beside basic deposits and withdrawals you cant do much more at this branch so you have to go into Richmond or one of the other larger branches. It get busy all of a sudden and due to the limited number of staff you could be waiting around a while to get served. The opening and closing hours are restrictive something like 10am 2pm close but you should check that on barclays website as i wouldnt be surprised if the hours have changed recently.

Went in and was ignored for 5-10 mins by the staff who seemed to be talking about their weekend plans only to perk up when a non-black customer walked in. Talked to a blonde woman who decided with in 5 seconds of meeting me and no information that I wasn’t eligible for any support or products. I had to push for a personal in-depth consultation. And when I tried to advise her not to talk about people’s financial information in a lobby full of strangers she told me to ‘just go away’.

Do not use HSBC. Use Metrobank down the road on the highstreet.
I used HSBC for years and never considered changing bank until I tried a different bank out and was blown away with the difference in service and quality difference in their mobile apps. HSBC is awful, both as a current account and business account. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have switched to Metrobank and have no idea why I didn't do it sooner or why I ever put up with HSBC and their service or lack there of.
