This place has ben very helpful to me, I am a student and have broken my laptop on several occasions when I had deadlines to meet and got my laptop back in time, all fixed. For a very reasonable price as well. Great service, I've been recommending it to all my fellow students.

Great service from Granite Chips Ltd in Aberdeen. I normally fix any issues to do with my PC/printer myself, but was stumped completely when access was denied to msconfig and system restore to fix a particular problem. My PC was fixed by Granite Chips within 48 hours and at a very reasonable cost. Friendly service and clear advice. Highly recommended.

If I could give six stars, I would.
Granite Chips replaced a PC which had expired. The service (from Scott) was exceptional. Problem diagnosed, new PC built and handed over - all extremely quick and at a very reasonable price. Tremendous attention to detail - software, files, favourites, drivers all installed.
And it's dead easy to park nearby - which is handy.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Repaired and updated an 8-9 year old laptop to a very high standard on a very friendly price. I was looking for a laptop for my 7 year old which was good enough for coding and gaming.
I looked up Jahi Laptops on google and saw the feedback. I was apprehensive initially I did not know what to expect.
Friendly atmosphere, very quickly got back to me with a cost. It was acceptable and laptop was repaired in no time. I’m very happy. Laptop works fantastic.

Best in Aberdeen look no further. Had issues with an expensive laptop my daughter uses for uni . Feared the worst that we would have to replace it . These guys are thorough , professional and very reasonably priced. They kept us informed very well and explained exactly what needed to be done and the cost .Had the laptop back within a few days . Went in a few days ago with an absolutely obliterated iPhone 6 screen. Didn’t catch their names but the guys in the shop were welcoming and lovely, had a quick look at my phone and said it would only take 1.5 hours! Fantastic service, screen looks and is working beautifully- and it was only £50! Would definitely recommend.
Update: I left this review approx 2 months ago when my phone screen was fixed.
Since getting it fixed from M&R, my iPhone screen has lost all touch screen sensitivity, the operating system is completely knackered, and the screen itself was raised, and the water safety seal removed from my phone.
I have been into the Apple store twice to rectify the ongoing issues caused by M&R, and am now awaiting my third visit to get my phone completely replaced as the damage done by this shop was so shockingly shoddy.
I would strongly not recommend this place. Especially if you have an iPhone.
Please don’t waste your money with these Third Party places. I needed a quick fix (as everyone, for health implications I CANNOT be without contact), but have paid the price massively.

I was sold a cheap Chinese battery for my phone at double the price of a genuine battery. Originally I thought the guy was helpful, even charging the battery while I was on my way down to collect it. Thought again he was being helpful by putting it in my phone until I got home and checked it and realised I'd paid £10 for a knock off battery. Pretty sure these are unsafe and potentially a fire hazard. Won't use them again.

Only place in Aberdeen where word repair on shops exhibitions actually stays. I had a problem with the usb charging port on the Xiaomi cell phone. Other services on word Xiaomi just said that for such cell phone and failure only solution is to sending it on a multi-day service to Glasgow. They didn't wont to try do do anything except that. Guys from M&R were the only ones who tried to fix the cell phone. After one hour they managed to fix the part that was a problem. Repair was also very cheap. For each recommendation as they are the only service for repairing, while others only provide the service of collecting and sending phones to other place, not the actually repair in the workshop like you can conclude from they advertising on the exhibitions. Thanks again for your help.

My 10 year old Mac gave up the ghost when the drive collapsed. The guys at Techrescue replaced it with a solid state one and reinstalled operating system within a few days (would have been even quicker but the drive I wanted was out of stock) They gave me an estimate for the work but came in a good bit less than the estimate. Delighted with the service and aftercare follow ups, thanks guys!

I absolutely would never use them again . Daughters laptop stopped switching on . They charged 35 pounds just to look at it and quote a ridiculous price to replace the entire motherboard. They also accused us of spilling on it which is total rubbish. went to a competitor you can find nearby , jahi . He was able to explain exactly what was wrong with it and was able to repair it for ONE THIRD of the north east peripheral price . I’m just glad I took a second opinion. Don’t touch this place with a barge pole .

Recently I took in a broken memory stick and they very quickly fully recovered everything.

We'd made the decision to leave our Apple days behind us and get a PC built. We'd read good things about NEP and so took the plunge. We knew what we wanted and asked them to build it. From quote to pick up was under a day. We are very happy with the computer (though not so much the keyboard :P - but that was our bad). I can also say that they are incredibly competitively priced, as we looked at the quote carefully and came to the conclusion that we could not have built it cheaper ourselves. So a great experience, we'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a custom PC. Nice job guys. Thank you.

Went to Currys today for advice as my recently purchased washer/drier bought there had been installed but unfortunately the instructions lost in the process. A very pleasent sales assistant came to my aid & quickly confirmed which machine & downloaded the instructions & printed them out for me. He couldn't of been more helpful. I was very impressed

Was there couple days ago, it was really busy, waited in the queue around 20min.
The middle aged woman named Jenni (or Jenny can't really remember) who served me was really unprofessional and rude. First I asked if she has a piece of tape, because I noticed a little tear on my parcel, she grabed the parcels from my hand and said 'no', although there was a big tape dispenser which her colleague used couple minutes before for her customer. Then i asked proof of posting for all of my parcels which was like to ask a blessing or something she just sighted angrily and did proof only for half of my parcels. I asked if I could borrow a pen to fill in date on my customs labels, she just angrily throwed it at me. Also she was angrily tapping computer screen while serving me. It was a shame she got to serve me as other 3 workers looked very helpful and nice.. Not coming back though.

I was spoken to and treated terribly in this post office today. It is a pity as the other girls working there are lovely but this woman today was rude and very unprofessional. I had collected 4 Amazon parcels the other day and when I got home I had been given one that belonged to another customer. I was returning this today, I had no complaint as it was a genuine mistake, I work in customer service and know these things happen. The woman 'serving' held the parcel in front of my face and stated 'the "customer name is clearly marked on the parcel'. So instead of a standard apology for the mistake and inconvenience caused to me the customer, she blamed me. Apauling attitude.

When it comes to customer service and support, this is by far the best post office I’ve visited (yet). Excellent, friendly staff who are always happy to dispatch your mail even during peak postal times. All the staff who work here are extremely courteous and always have a smile on their face whether you’re posting a single item or bulk orders. I cannot recommend this place enough and frequently drive more than 2 miles just to drop off my mail because I know I can trust the staff to get the job done right.

Just had one of the staff storm out from behind the counter, drag a barrier across on front of me and grumpily announce that "the reason that is there is because I told you we close at 12:30". I'm sorry? I only just joined the queue and it was at that stage 12:20. There are other competitors in the postal market. That sort of treatment is just unbelievable. Seriously unimpressed.

Having to resend items due to staff incompetence. Train your staff before you send them out to work.
The person who was supposed to be helping me was busy trying to correct her co-worker. So thanks to this my parcel was sent incorrectly so that's a tracked send and tracked return that will have to be paid twice so insted of £20 I'm now £40 out of pocket. Won't bother with this place again far better managed post offices else where.

Incompetent. I wanted to post a Samsung Galaxy S7 back to the manufacturer. All 3 staff agreed saying can not do it because it is a Galaxy.
They didn't bother to ask if I was posting nationally or internally.
They didn't bother to ask if the battery was connected or not.
Just arbitrary decided that they could not post it.
Next day posted it through another post office which further proves the point that they were just ignorant and dis not want to serve

I was in a long queue and finally managed to counter. The girl behind the counter told me to wait and served next person, but never asked me back again. I sit there for more than 10 minutes, and join the queue again. Another lady served me. I just don't understand why she ignored me without explaining anything. Maybe she had experienced trauma before?

This post office serves me almost daily Very positive, polite and friendly staff. Self service machines here and ok they have to be manned so are not open without anyone being available so do remember this. Not busy in the mornings. I recommend here to help you with your postal needs.

Their treatment of my father this morning has upset him greatly and he has vowed never to visit here again.
There is a post office in the WH Smith in the St Nicholas centre nearby, I suggest everyone use there instead if they don't want their day ruined.

The staff in the front is even worse, often post office is closed for no reason, the worst post office I've been so far, been going to it for a few months now and today was my last day, from now on will be going to the one in the Bon Accord, it's further away, but at least staff is really nice there!

Not sure what's going on with this place. Royal Mail Website says it's open from 06:30-18:00, which is clearly not the case. But have now been 3 times at 16:25, 09:15 and 09:45 and found it to be closed each time with no sign to say when it should be open.
Asked at the newsagent at the front, and was told that it would be open at 10am today, but should be open earlier next week ?!?!
I'm unable to get there between 10:00 and 16:00 so will have to wait till then to pick up a package.

Tried on two occasions to open an account for my son to be refused twice this time it was because of a missed spelled surname Russel missing one L on a council tax bill even though I gave him plenty of evidence he would still not accept and he made a joke of it . Very angry and upset .

Unfortunately all my interactions so far have been overwhelmingly negative. Apparently staff in the business banking department can't check a mandate form correctly, pass it to the appropriate people or advise me of what's happening when i turn up with my ID documents. Yet they took copies of them anyway.
Just terrible service and poor communication. The two star only because the last person i interacted with, found the mandate, apologised profusely and told me a faster method to add people on, which should have been explained in the first place!

What a shame that having saved with RBS at St Nicholas Branch for over 30years, to be told today that no body knows me at the bank by the teller who was dealing with my cash withdrawal. I found the manner in which she asked questions to me very disrespectful, and surely some training in customer relations and effective communication skills will do her some good. If not because of time factor and the very long queue today, I would have cautioned her about her behaviour. I am considering moving my business to another bank. Respect, that is all I ask for when I come to take chunks of my hard earned cash. ☹️

What a joke of a so called bank. If traditional banking hours weren’t bad enough, there is now no counter service after 4 or on weekends. Really not helpful for anyone who works. You walk in and all of the staff ignore the queue of people trying to figure out how to get any help. There are plenty of staff. They just aren’t interested in helping any customers. I’m not exactly sure what they are doing. There is no way to get any coins from the machines inside the bank. There is really no point in going there anymore because there is no service provided beyond what I can get with any cash machine. I visited on a Friday at 16:10 and a woman who worked there told me that I would need to come back on Saturday to get change. I came back today and was told that they also don’t have counter service on Saturdays. The staff don’t even know what the hours are because they don’t make any sense. My recommendation is that you can cut costs even further by getting rid of the staff because they don’t seem to provide any service anyway and close the branch since all you provide are cash machines. I will be taking my account somewhere else that actually accommodates working people’s schedules.

I was always served promptly at this branch, and today in particular I was pleasantly surprised by an adviser whom I've asked how can I request a new card reader(as my previous one got lost). He was back to me in no time with a new card reader. I was surprised ,because last time I requested one, it took a long time to get it through the post . This card reader was very important for me today, as I needed it in order to reinstall my "barclays mobile"--which needed to be done today. So thank you very much! :)

One of the worst customer service experiences I have had so far in a bank.
Next to the senior manager being gone for the day, a lady and her child being clearly disturbed, and the computers/iPads being so slow they were basically useless, the customer service agents were not helpful whatsoever. In fact, I was not able to finish my application for a bank account but was asked to leave the branch, as they were closing down.
Additionally, I had to fill out their online report TWICE because the website kept breaking and let my session time out, leading me to not finishing my query. I will move my business to other banks.
At least their branch location was clean.

I have just left the bank extremely unsatisfied trying to pay in a cheque and cash into the hole in the wall within the branch unsuccessfully with no assistance from any member of staff and refused to wait in line of over 20 people to be seen by a teller at the desk! Dreadful place. Been in twice this week, longest queues I've ever experienced in any bank. Left queue to use ATM to pay in cheque, after 2 attempts cheque rejected (HMRC Refund). Lost place in queue on rejoining. 4 Tellers, 1 appearing to do nothing, another teller taking ages assisting the teller next to him. Moaned like hell when finally served, but woman teller couldn't care less. The most useless, inefficient bank branch I've ever been in. I will never return, glad I changed by main account to Nationwide some time ago. If this is the standard of RBS they should have been allowed to go to the wall!

Worst bank ever. Went in with notes and coins to go into account. They didnt have the machine that counts the coins so got thrown a bag of bahs and sent to a desk to bag up stuff with no help. Then when went back wasnt given total receipt only to go home and log into my banking to see that they had short counted me £300!! Phoned them up and had to wait a day until they counted all that days banking to rectify issue. Wasnt happy but relieved got money back.
