For over 30 years had a great service,and over the years a number of regular postmen/ladies,but lately no regular person,and I occasionally have had my mail delivered to the wrong house,I only know this when letters are pushed through buy mailbox late at night or somebody calls round with mail delivered to them in error.
The most worrying thing is having to ask for a duplicate membership card as the original has gone astray in the post.
What is starting to go wrong.

Absolutely incredible. A post office which runs like clockwork, where the staff are helpful knowledgeable and try to save you money. The store is clean and there's sometimes a queue but they process it quickly.
Note: you can't post postal supplies here. You need to go to Tesco for that. There's a photobooth for taking pictures if you need it. You can pay with money or card.

Be careful when posting certain items in this post office.
I have sent 2 mobile phones and both times got served by an older male employee.........let's just say both times the phone never arrived. I have had friends now talk about the same thing with the same guy. Comes across nice and sweet, talks the talk with the women........be careful when he is serving you.
Other then that, just the waiting time. They don't rush no matter how big the que is, then they get rude with you, especially the one with a chip on her shoulder

Always a line at this post office, friendly staff but processes are very long and makes waiting very frustrating when all you want to do is post a letter. They need a separate line for people who want to simple tasks like posting of letters and small items. Expect to wait up to 30mins when there are others being served.

As for an experience in this post office, while waiting to post something one time, I had an amazing idea. The reverse lottery. Everyone who enters this lottery has a high chance of winning like £20 or something and on every prize draw, one person has to pay up like £5,000,000 to fund everyone's winnings. If you think this is stupid and not worth the risk, how many people do you know who have won the lottery?

I have always found good service. Yes, there is often a queue but that is because so many people want to use the post office which is not the fault of the staff. Recently, I left my debit card there and they were fantastic getting a message to me.

Tracked parcel containing a mobile phone been misdelivered by Addleston Delivery office. As the postman can't remember where he delivered and GPS tracker not active the item been lost. But it's the care free attitudes of postman and the management are shocking!!!
Update: after week of anxious wait and lots of tweets to Royal Mail customer services the parcel been tracked and collected( thanks to *royalmailchat* , an online community who's valuable advice on GPS tracking did help)

I don't know if its just this branch or a systemic issue with the bank itself but they are woefully inefficient and at times incompetent, bordering on negligent with personal data. I have had 2 serious breaches to date ... today a member of staff described access to my business accounts by an unauthorised individual for several years as, 'inconvenient' and simply failed to grasp the seriousness of the situation. I asked to make a formal complaint which she chose to handle by patronising me and deflecting responsibility from the bank on to me as the customer for their failings - I will wait to hear the outcome of the complaint but Im seriously considering switching banks

Big weekly I visit what's now my local branch as in west Byfleet the HSBC is now closed.
I can withdraw my funds from outside at their cash machine and at the counter, should it be open...
I prefer to hold on to £50 notes as much as possible to assist my spending or curbing it...
I'm informed I can't take funds from their cash machine or another branch and then transform into 1 2 or 3 £50 notes. Which I favour.
But I can go inside and withdraw £50s at counter.
This has to be PURE BULL S..IT.
I may as well be accused of laundering.

Always seems to be closed and Isn't the best service. I'm kind of glad that Karen took my HSBC account instead of my other ones. Sometimes I come here with my secret card just to see what she's up to nowadays via her purchase history on OUR card. Really bugs me out too, it was a pretty sizeable pension that she has just blown on "sexy night with 12 firefighters" every Friday. Also what is meant by "The dank leaf" that Karen buys every Monday at lunchtime?
