I needed repairs on my computer and got in touch with Mobile PC Rescue, they came to me, took my computer and fixed/had it back to me within a day. They also gave me a few pointers for the future. I recommend them to anyone.

I'm a complete dunce with computers and mine was dying. I wanted a new one but was worried I would lose everything on my old one. Steve has sorted it all for me. He has supplied and set up a lovely new laptop and shown me how to use it, synced it with my phone!, provided a back up system!, and is only a phone call away for expert help should I ever need it. All with friendly, professional service. I'm still a dunce but now I'm a dunce with confidence.

Steve came to mine and was effective whilst being friendly and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. Steve tried his best to fix my crashing laptop and managed to get in for long enough to sort one thing and then explain what to do when the laptop would be up again- well it worked and although the laptop's marathon days are over, it is working fine since following all the steps set by Steve- thank you for the tuition! In the meantime I also decided to get a second hand desktop from Steve which he set up ready to go, including anti-virus, and it is working perfectly well! I strongly recommend Steve.

I went to Steve at Mobile PC Rescue after searching online to find somebody trustworthy enough and capable of upgrading my gaming PC, as it was quite outdated and in desperate need of a clean.
I firstly told Steve that I had a budget and did not want to exceed this if possible. He was able to help me identify the parts of my computer that would definitely need replacing and also directed me to different websites and stores to look so I would get the best price. For all 3 of the parts purchased, he saved me money on all of them.
Steve and Jamie then stripped down my PC to the raw components, thoroughly cleaned each piece and rebuilt the computer beautifully. I had not attempted to open or clean it in over 5 years and was well aware of the mess awaiting them inside the machine, however it looked fantastic when I received it back. I went to Steve in hopes of upgrading my old PC and felt like I was leaving with a complete brand new one.
I am purchasing some more parts at Christmas and 100% will be returning to Steve to have them fitted and also to give it it’s annual clean. I never realised how important cleaning the inside of the computer could be.
I cannot thank Steve and Jamie enough for the work done on the computer. It was carried out professionally and to an incredible standard, all within 24 hours. I can’t recommend this service enough. 10/10 in every aspect and I will definitely be a customer for life. Thanks again guys!

Came across the shop by chance on my way towards Ashton and thought I'd enquire about getting the hinges fixed and a RAM upgrade for my laptop. Had a great experience - will definitely visit again if I have any issues with my laptop in future.
Both Alex and Damian are personable, knowledgeable and professional, and the job was finished really quickly.
Also reasonably priced (unlike many IT repair services). Highly recommended!

Thought my laptop was on its way out so took it to PC World. Was unwilling to pay their ludicrous prices so thought I'd give this place a try after seeing it on the way home. Turns out I needed a new hard drive and the staff at Ginger Geek managed to do the job quickly and at a reasonable price. Would recommend 100%.

I received fantastic service here. Abbas is very friendly and has an infectious enthusiasm for his work. I brought my pc to him after it failed to boot and developed a repetitive clicking noise. We thought the hard drive was at fault but further investigation was needed. A day later he had found out the cause (the power supply needed replacing) and he had cleaned the computer to such an extent that it honestly looks like new. Easiest 5 stars I have ever given and I will return the moment I need any other work done. Exceptional.

I have used vortex for many years now, usually when I have had a problem. They have always been helpful and have always managed to rectify the problem. I now plan to ask them to supply a custom built computer system for me. I know it will be exactly what I want and post sale I know they will help me with their usual help and advice. Haven't bought anything from the shop, yet me and my brother were looking for some anti-static bags and they totally just gave us one for free while being super cool about it. Then they showed us the PC they had on display showing us the ratings on it which was awesome. They have everything you could possibly need for general PC stuff and PC gaming. Absolutely amazing service from the moment you step through the door - this should be your go-to for tech support/repairs in Tameside. After an appalling experience with a local competitor I called these guys up and gave a quick run-down of what I'd been through - I had previously had a laptop screen replaced, but with the wrong size/resolution TWICE.
Unbeknown to me prior to entering the shop this is a father/son operation, which is a really nice touch to any business. Both were very polite and took the time to explain the process of replacing the screen and also to point out other areas that require a repair - something I'll be returning for once I have the pennies, as the prices are fair and affordable.
The process of replacing the screen took around 15-20 minutes at most, as promised and I received a call on my mobile to let me know. Only after I had confirmed that everything was in order was I asked for any money; I had offered to pay in advance, but it was declined. I cannot stress enough how passionate they are about the work they do.
I look forward to popping back in for a complete refurbishment of my laptop at the end of the month. Avoid local competitors at all costs - you won't regret the decision and neither will your wallet/bank account :)

I would strongly recommend I.T Services to anybody. They fixed two televisions for me within 24 hours and once finding out one of them was used for my 10 year olds Xbox Jenny provided us with a replacement loan tv with the words “ no little boy can live without his Xbox for more than a day “
The price was very reasonable bearing in mind I had no idea what was wrong with both sets. ( they could have told me i needed a new flux capacitor and i would have believed them ) they also replace a hanging bracket for me free of charge.

Some months ago they repaired my (ancient and enormous) desk-top PC and offered suggestions on replacement options. My PC eventually gave up the ghost so I went back to them. I am now the very happy owner of a new (tiny!) desk-top which is brilliant. Found what we were looking for. So that was the good point. Slightly concerned as it took forever for the staff to figure out how to sell a dryer to us. Then they sneakily tried to untick a box on the computer that said we didn’t want to be contacted for marketing and get off the page as fast as possible without saying anything.
Made her change it even though she (Alison) said we’d have to redo the whole thing to get back to it. Not very impressed. Waited about 10 minutes before the dryer made it to the front door.

Got there late 19:00 Mohamed went out of his way to help use we had ordered a laptop on line and it was not there ? It had been put on display??? He spent time and explained the laptops that met our requirements this was after the firm had closed its doors!! Top marks to all the staff and the manager too that tried to find thee missing laptop !!! We are now going to leave fora week or two and get a better laptop and see the new rang!! Thanks again Dave G

So helpful! I phoned Stalybridge Post office to ask who I should contact regarding a lost parcel, the lady who answered told me Royal mail but was right in the middle of serving a customer so I could find the telephone number online. And then 5 minutes later she phoned me back to give me the number. I'm so impressed with this, just the fact that she'd finished serving her customer and then bothered to find my number is remarkable in this day and age. I wish I could remember her name. Excellent customer service.

As I never normally use this post office, I was disgusted in the way your staff feel it necessary to speak about customers whilst practically standing next to them. I simply went in to send two letters to the doctors for my very sick pregnant girlfriend, which wasn’t easy for me as I have been recently diagnosed with severe anxiety and it was somewhat of a triumph that I actually made it and completed my task. After leaving I felt nervous and panicked which I don’t expect you to understand as no one normally does with this illness all I can say is I will NEVER be using the Post Office ever again.... I would rather use a Carrier pigeon.

The star that has been given is very generous I feel the man behind the counter could do with a lot of training as he lacks basic skills like communication and how to be nice. they appear to favour European customers over everyone else I once saw him drag an old Asian man outside by his arm because he was asking to many questions and rip a ladies car door from its hinges because she had a disagreement with his colleague I don't believe he should be allowed to work in this field because of his violent nature he is very aggressive and pressurises you in to buying things by refusing to help the post mistress who owns the office made her fortune through exploiting the vulnerable tenants within her properties.
Please boycott as they are not nice people and as a community we deserve better.

Had a plastic bag posted through my letter box by Royal mail and wanted to return to sender, I took it to this location and the women in the post office part got her letter measure and put my letter in the hole on an angle, Its a parcel she said you need to pay for a parcel.
I stressed it is a letter it fits through my perfectly standard letter box and I have a plate on the back to make it difficult to get your hand in.
No way was she having it, she was rude and just said if you can make it smaller then you can send it as a letter.
I took it home and folded one edge about a cm, it was a part empty bag with loads of empty room in it, stuck a bit of tape to hold the edge down and took it bag.
Now it was a letter, it would very easy fit through her measure the first time but she did not want to get it through as she thought it was an option to charge me extra.
Shame on these people I wonder how many other people have been scammed like this.
If it can fit through my standard letter box then its a letter, if you need to knock on my door to deliver it then its a parcel.

Spar staff are fantastic however the Post office worker has no idea of customer service. I had three parcels to post, the elderly lady behind the counter huffed and puffed at the site of mail needing to be delivered.
I asked what the problem is, she just looked at the parcels then at me then back at the parcels. Offering no actual words of communication i took that she was not interested in doing the job she is solely there to do. The post.
I enquired "do you not want to serve me", a huff and a finger raised towards the parcels once more.

Shocking Post Office, Please do not use this Post Ofice! I have used this post office loads of times this year and all times the staff have been useless! Here the staff are clueless, disorganised, unprofessional and don't follow security protocol. Staff never check ID or verification codes/references or email proof or text proof of anything when you pick up something, They just ask your name and that's it! Staff can never find any item you have to pick up from the post office, they throw your boxes about and squeeze underneath big boxes and then leaves your box squashed or damaged for when you get it. So unorganised and has no system in place to deal with their mess! Sometimes when gone to pick parcels up, they are 100% sure the parcel isn't there when it is' I have had to tell them to look at least 3 times and to look harder, to find out they didn't look in the correct place or missed it...staff are pathetic here! Today has has been my final straw here as I ordered item from Amazon for local collect, I had an email to say ' my item had arrived to be picked up! then a few hours later I got a email saying ' Parcel has been collected!!! I was like omg this wasn't me! So some post office staff member at this post office has given my parcel out to the wrong person. Basically some person has now got my items and got my full name and address with my box of items. Staff here clearly didn't check code/reference correctly and didn't check ID right or look at identification email or text! Really poor service, I have complained to amazon today and awaiting full refund and also made a complaint to the post office complaints department awaiting a reply as I write this negative reaview. I will never use this post office again! Please people stay away from this post office it's shocking.

One of the worst experiences so far and usually I am not emphasising so strong .
They do shame the reputation of the post office service.
I had to pay again for an envelope that they managed to send it not to the correct recipient but back to myself ! When I showed them the receipt showing where they should have sent it the guy behind the glass just nodded.
The funny thing is that he even asked me where the sticker is something that they are supposed to put on the envelope when I handled it to them.

Would have left zero stars if i could. Who manages this sorry excuse for a post office in a large town centre that Ashton is? And why is it managed so badly with no improvement? There's always a mile of a queue,no matter what time of day and only 2 or 3 cashiers operate at the tills. Not to mention the new self serve checkout, of 2 checkouts only one is working and the other is out of use! The working one is constantly hiccuping due to maintainance, need to input fresh labels and other reasons unknown to me and still very annoying. Even if you do manage to input all the destination addresses yourself, the system will still call out for assistance which isn't so quick to arrive.Plus there's always a nightmarish queue to self serve, which defies the purpose as it was I imagine meant to speed things up a bit. Very sad if someone wasted money and time to come to Ashton post office only to find out machines are not working!

I wanted to get my ID docs to b verified. The Ashton Post office website clearly shows that this branch provide this service. I travelled 20 miles , only to be advised that this Post office does not provide this service. Post office can provide better service by updating their website so that people like me are not misguided.
Having said that the staff member advised me to go to Hyde post office . I shall go there when it opens tomorrow. 😖☹️

Banked with these some 24 years or so ago they had some sort of child saving account scheme going, i still get letters today about joining them, i once enquired in store about my account. But the assistant inside said she knew no such thing an no account existed, despite me having a small little pay in book. An letters in reference to my account, obviously it may of gotten closed with some £8 odd i had left in.
My query in all would of been what kinda interest would that of accumulated in 12 years? Never the less its disappeared into the fat cats pockets, they still get 4 stars because i always remember storing away my 50p a week an depositing it to the nice ladies an they treated me like i was a V.I.P :-)

went to this branch to deposit cash and sell foreign currency. There were no customers but three staff behind at the tills and another in the back office. It was around 2 pm when I got there but it seemed to me that the staff were busy cashing up and were not interested in a lowly customer. There was no salutations or even a glance from two of the windows but an obviously reluctant teller called me forward - no smile. I returned the miserable face because by this time I had decided that this was banking at its worse. I enquired about foreign exchange and immediate response - we have to order - I said I am selling -where did you get it from - my response - none of your business. Basically the teller did not want to deal with me or my business because it was a Friday afternoon and she obviously had plans. The staff in this branch may be luvvy duvvy to customers they know but they should be friendly, polite and helpful to those they don't. Pretty poor all around and I am now looking at moving to another bank.

This store is awful . Called in for milk and potatoe's 10 minutes after they opened on a Monday morning. They had one variety of potato. I get to the tills and there is nobody there. Then i had to use one of the self service machines which charged me for items i didnt even buy and when i managed to find a member of staff they told me there was nothing they could do to help as i had already paid. What a joke. Store Awful, Staff Awful.

Absolutely fuming and disgusted with the cafe in Asda today. My son has coeliac disease which means he cant eat bread containing wheat and gluten. I asked for 2 hotdog sausages without the bun, as my son couldn't eat it, and was still charged full price. £3 for 2 sausages that were probably £1 a tin from the store. Its disgraceful being penalised n discriminated against for having an illness that limits his food selection anyway. You should be ashamed!

Best bank in the world, i know some reviews on here or complaining like 1 an 3 years ago, but still? Get with the generation (Jollyes Ashton) sending a "FAX" really, either print it out an post or better yet, theirs a little something called E'mail am not surprised you had an hard time, i haven't seen a fax machine in like 15 years?
I just wish they didn't do so much updating online, its like almost every weekend, but for all i know that could be security changes, which is good. so they get 5 stars.

I made an appointment in Oldham branch to open a current account, the 'personal banker' called Josna was absolutely vile. Her overall attitude was horrible, obnoxious and petrifying. She doesn't know her own companies policies, and likes to create it on the spot saying 'I cannot create a current account becuase i have a current account else where?' But when I spoke to another colleague of hers she said I CAN. She was no help at all, being that she's supposed to be a 'PERSONAL' banker, she did not support or help me in anyway instead wasted 1hour of my time and even then coming out of the branch without opening a current account I came for. The tablet facilities did not work, the website was crashing and she had no clue of what she was doing. Recommend to avoid her.

My partner has HSBC account and she goes this branch. The space is very small for customers. There is no customer service person to help the people who are waiting. Partner had appointment for personal loan 3.3% APR. All incoming and outgoing werewolf fine. The lady in the bank said all is online based application. Question is why people need appointment and hassle to come in a tiny branch. She said everything is fine and she has affordability for the loan and within 24hrs she will get a call. None called her . Instead she had rejection email although she has very high credit rating. I hope there is no race card played in loan application in this branch with sweet words in time wasting appointment . suggestion ...try to avoid this branch.
