DON'T USE THIS GUY! Took my laptop to swap a new drive. Paid £100 for a cheap £35 (Hitachi 500GB)drive and OS install, which I still had to install the latest updates. Claimed that I didn't give him a charger which after discussion he somehow found it straight away. I get home and the chargers broken. Rang him did not return my call. Go to the shop and he wanted to charge me £20 for a new one... smiling and smirking at me and claiming that I broke it. Just for the record I worked in the computer industry for over 15 year and really wished I did the repair myself, next time I won't be too busy. The irony of it when I first went in the shop he was slagging another shop off for ripping people off.

The door was open and there was a man sitting on an office chair behind the counter. I had visited the shop this week ( my second visit) to seek his help and he made things worse for me. Going back several years all my photos : fathers funeral, childrens wedding, birthdays, holiday photos had been lost. He did not advise me on my first visit to save files/ photos nor did he offer when l first asked for just a Word document programme to be installed. He put on Windows 8, in the process loosing all my photos which he later told me at todays visit that Windows 8 was flawed with problems, but nevertheless he went ahead at the time and installed Windows 8.
He talked down to me, over me, and made me feel incompetent and childlike. He did not seem to care that l was upset about my photographs, he was too busy justifying his actions and passing the blame onto me. He could not empathise with me.
Luckily enough l phoned Exeters apple store and because l had an apple ipad they were able to help me restore my photos from icloud, spending over an hour with me on the phone at no cost. They showed consideration, empathy, care, politeness, patience and made me feel worthy and NOT STUPID. I do not recommend this Computer shop in Branstaple.

They don't turn up a lot of the time and have frequently 'been unable' to deliver tracked parcels. Couldn't be bothered, more like. Today's example was 'inaccessible'. Bull. I was in when the post came and they didn't bother to deliver a parcel who's tracking claimed it was due for delivery today. Absolutely appalling service. Inconsistent times so you're late for things waiting in for deliveries. It's gone way downhill the past few months and needs sorting. Disgraceful!!

Items keep turning up damaged and broken. Set up claims for damages giving all required info, but they refuse to compensate. Expensive service becomes even more expensive when I'm paying out of my own pocket to repair something that they have damaged.

Utterly extraordinary service, given absolutely gratis, to a stranger (me) trying to draw money from the ATM with a Master card that was not performing normally. Natalie and others were exceptionally kind and helpful.
Not only was every means tried to obtain the cash for a train ticket to Liverpool, but coffee and a biscuit was offered several times.
Two staff accompanied me to the station!!
If this bank had a branch near us in Cape Town South Africa, I would move to it immediately.

On returning from France, my partner and I had to change our address, set up a new joint account and instigate a number of new direct debits. Being unable to do any of this via the internet, we went into the Barnstaple branch.

I've banked with barclays for years. When phoning the call centre this morning because you can't call the bank direct to set my son up with his own account it takes the man 10 minutes to work out what branch I want I even had to Google the postcode for him to then be told you can't have a appointment after 3!! Well that's helpful seeing as my son is at school until 3.30! If your open until 5 surely you should have appointments available until 5!!!
