Our laptop died & after numerous attempts of trying to get it to fire up I researched a local computer repair expert and found Alex at EPP very helpful. Alex managed to retrieve our files from our laptop & then sourced a new laptop & microsoft package at a better price than the national company chain which is located locally. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again or to recommend him to others.

Graham was extremely efficient and helpful. My old laptop had not been updated for years and was running very slowly. He installed a new SSD drive and upgraded all my software as well providing shortcuts for things like backups. I was given an update and was also able to collect the laptop after work on my way home. He spent quite a bit of time with me and was very patient with all my questions.

Fast, friendly service - contacted Graham to see if he could recover data from a damaged laptop hard drive. Not only did he manage to retrieve everything, but he installed a replacement (upgraded!) hard drive on the same machine for a very reasonable cost, saving me the time and money of getting a new laptop altogether. And it was all completed within 24 hours! Highly recommended.

Having used John in the past when he provided an excellent service, I emailed him with a problem I had attaching photos to an email. He replied with a step-by-step guide as to how to solve the problem. Working through John's guide, I sorted the problem and was able to attach photos within minutes of following his instructions.

Went in with a surface pro 3 that had a shattered screen. Extremely friendly and relaxeded environment, very upfront and trustworthy! Quoted that it could take up to 10 days to get parts and fix the screen, but they got it done in 3 or 4. Excellent price for the work and parts. I would highly reccomend them to everyone for repairs and service!! I will be going to them exclusively from now on.

Lucky me that I found Mark at Churchgate Computers. I received an absolutely first class service when my AIO PC finally gave up the ghost, first he identified the problem, fixed that and got the machine running again, but discovered more problems due to the original fault. After discussion I decided that with more faults and the age of the PC, I was better off buying a new one. Mark then migrated all my original data etc. to the new PC so everything is now back to normal.
All through the experience he was helpful, polite and professional, responsive to my questions and charged me a very reasonable fee for his works, and with no charges for what may have been abortive work.

A very excellent service that i have no hesitation in recommending and at a very reasonable price.
Broke my dc jack on the side of my laptop,was quoted a price to repair, so left it with them.
On opening up laptop, chap discovered motherboard was also slightly cracked.
Dc jack fixed as was crack and all repaired and fully working for the original repair price that was quoted to me.

The reason for my rating is as follows... Pro's - It was local which was handy.
- The gentleman was polite and
friendly
- The price was reasonable.
- Problem seems to be fixed.
Cons - Took a long time to fix. Was quoted
3 days and took a week.
- Lack of communication.
- Works from home so difficult to find
and quite unprofessional.
All in all the problem i had seems to be fixed the price was ok and did not have to travel far. Personally i shall be going somewhere else in future. But if you need a affordable fix and you live local i would recommend Church Gate Computers.

I threw a glass of red wine over my laptop and Googled computer repairs in Bury St Edmunds and Churchgate Computer Services came up. I found Mark extremely helpful. He searched for a replacement keyboard as we spoke on the phone and quoted me a rough guide price. He then advised that I went and bought an external keyboard to check if this would work, which I did and it did, so I gave him a ring and told him to go ahead and source a keyboard. He texted me when it arrived and I dropped my laptop off yesterday lunchtime and picked it up again this morning. All sorted and I am very pleased :-)

Great experience here, had already looked at Curry's website and found the fridge we wanted, so was just a matter of going in and paying for it. I've changed my review don't buy from here if it's a deliverable item. Useless! Dented cooker which then took them over a month and 3 attempts to redeliver. Staff were rude, head office didn't care. I have used NCC since 2011 and have had repairs and a new gaming computer built by them. Everything has been great until the last 2 months when the new PC developed a fault and despite 4 emails and 2 voicemails asking for help I have not had the courtesy of a reply. I have visited the shop on 2 occasions and it has been closed. I will not be using NCC again.

Excellent customer service from Lisa! A parcel was sent 1st class by mistake. It needed to be sent Special Delivery, so that it was insured. I called in to stop the parcel being sent out, but it had unfortunately already been sent. Lisa went out of her way to track the parcel down and have it delivered back to the post office! This took most of the day and she even called me consistently to update me. Great customer service from a small post office (I live in London). They open at 9.30 and close at 4.30 and are shut completely for 3 days a week, then you go in there, and they talk to each other and make you wait to be served... some people actually have lives... I guess most of the people that go in there are messing around drawing 5 pounds out their pension and talking about the weather, such a deadbeat place, never open when you need to get money on a Thursday, such an annoying place.

Best to use Lloyd’s or some other bank. Many of the bankers give off an aura that they’re annoyed with you or look down their nose at you.
Additionally, the competence level after several interactions is left wanting.

I have always had great experiences with this Barclays branch. They have multiple self service machines and helpful staff on hand for any questions or issues.
Unfortunately their self servic machines no longer accept coins, I came in with a large jar to deposit. One of the staff graciously helped me sort it all into seperatd baggies and ensured that I was able to deposit them into my account. I was blown away by the kindness shown by that employee, especially since normally you would be given the baggies and asked to come back.

Fraud Victim - Constantly: I have been a victim of fraud with the this bank on several occasions. The fraud dept shut my accounts down and the thieves were still able to access my accounts and move money...as the bank manager and I were looking at the accounts. I have nothing but issues with fraud and while the customer service is good, ultimately I need my hard earned money protected. I will be moving all accounts.

In 2016 I was assaulted by a man; whilst I was already on the phone reporting to the police abuse that I had suffered outside my home. That incident had just happened 40 minutes before I was harassed by a customer in the bank.
The staff standing around? They did nothing. The ambulance and police that came?
The heroes for me? The man and other strangers who prevented the man from running off. In the end, he was never charged or engaged in Mediation to explain his bizarre harassment & then his unprovoked attack.
Since 2016 -
Both HSBC & Suffolk Constabulary - continue to collude in withholding the evidence from me.

I tried to use the cash machine outside the facility today. The machine ate my debit card without letting me attempt my PIN number. I had to wait for the bank to open and when it did I walked in and spoke to a representative. The employee at HSBC told me that the machine probably ate it because my card was flagged for some reason and that I should contact my bank. The employee also reported that more than likely I would not be able to get my debit card back. I called USAA and spoke with them and they reported that my card was active and had no issues. When speaking with the employee again She told me that regardless of my situation I would not be getting my debit card back. Their machine malfunctioned on me and now I don’t have a debit card until my bank can send me another. Don’t use any atm with this bank. The risk of the inconvenience and poor customer service I had to endure is not worth it.

Unimpressed. Twice made special trips to the town to bank some money into my account only for this branch to close early due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. All the other banks in town are open !! Also tried to pay some genuine £50 notes in a few months ago that had unfortunately been through the washing machine only to be told they were genuine but they weren't going to accept them ??!!! I could either spend the money in other shops or send them off to the Bank of England to process (not exactly professional advice nor helpful)

They get one star because you call the customer service department via phone and it honestly makes you wonder if you’re getting scammed or not. If there is no decent PC repair shop in your area, send you storage device to data recovery lab from the nearest post office. You can pay for recovery services or software registration at any bank.
Stop using the device where you used to keep the deleted data.
Work of the operating system, installation of programs, and even the ordinary act of connecting a disk, USB drive or smartphone to the computer will create new files that might overwrite the deleted data - and thus make the recovery process impossible. The best solution would be to shut down the computer of power off your phone and outline an action plan. If turning off the device is impossible, try to use it as little as possible.
Make up a list of devices where the necessary files have been saved.
Try to remember the chain of events from creating the files to deleting them. You may have received them by email, downloaded from the Internet, or you may have created them on another PC and then brought them home on a USB drive. If the files in question are personal photos or videos, they can still be available on the memory card of your camera or smartphone. If you received the information from someone else - ask them for help. The sooner you do it the more chances you have to recover what is lost.
Use the list of devices to check them for the missing files, their backup copies or, at least, the chance to recover the deleted data from such devices.
