Dell workstation computer from 2011 on its last legs, looked for new computer at ridiculous prices, came across Cheshire Computer Repairs, found they were only a couple of miles from us and gave Glen a ring on the Sunday evening, it really needed full refurbishment in my opinion or the dustbin, but Glen had a look on the Monday, very knowledgeable and experienced person, new what he was talking about, kept us informed every step of the way, the computer had to have another motherboard, increased the power supply and he suggested it had an SSD hard drive put in, he even swapped all our existing files over to the new drive, but kept the old drive for future photos. gave the computer a good going over and cleaned everything up, received a call on the Friday morning to say it was ready and collected it, once i got it home i wasn`t expecting too much, but i was extremely surprised to find that the computer was like new, smooth running and no more hum as we had over the last 12 months. I would like to thank Glen for the work he did at a very good price, i must have saved hundreds pounds not having to buy new, i will certainly use Glen again Highly Recommended Thanks Keith Chester

Phoned up experiencing problems with an aging CAD workstation. Glenn gave the system an overhaul, fitted an SSD HDD, installed windows, and made some bios adjustments. He set the sytem up as a dual boot using both the old HDD and the new one, and also installed direct x udates so my software would install. He also investigated possibilities of upgrading the system.
All done very swiftly, professionally and in a friendly manner. For a very reasonable fee too. I will return to Glenn and I highly recomend him for a reliable service.

I discovered a fault at the final stages of the PC build which would require more intricate and technical hands-on work than I deemed myself to be capable of. Royal Mail - Chester is one of Royal Mail's major clearing and sorting offices in The UK, handling mail for the Chester and North Wales region. Situated near Chester Rail station and major road networks, this depot is a major contributor to an organizational that delivers to 29 million addresses in the UK. The centre is not generally open to the public but in the past I have joined a tour of the facility which was a fascinating experience.

I worked here in Casual Days on Christmas and the experience was very bad. There was little overwork and many extra workers and as a result many people (managers, supervisors and even many normal workers) told us what we had to do while all those managers, supervisors and normal workers did not do anything, just look at us! The coordination is very weak and the apathy is generalized, They did not pay me all the hours I worked, I tried to get my money for more than a month by contacting different offices of the company and the result has been that they have ignored me and they have stayed with my money. A "10" IN INCOMPETENCE AND APATHY AND A "0" IN EMPATHY.

I mailed small parcel using track and trace 48 on Monday 1st July 2019 at 10.00a.m. at just after midnight on 3rd July it had reached Chester, and has sat there ever since it is now 0930 5th July and still not moved what do the staff -if there are any - do at this depot.

Then at 10:32 says delivered and signed for by B. Bin. My wife finds a £150 hedge trimmer dumped in our black bin. Service is non existent but to lie about no one being in. Not on. If it is my choice I won't be using Fedex again, give me DPD every time.

Jokers. Had someone wait in all day for a parcel which was then returned to depot as 'incorrect address'. When speaking with customer services they confirmed delivery address shown was correct. When I finally got my parcel it was addressed perfectly correctly.

Fedex must be the most unreliable delivery service in the UK or is it just the Chester depot which is useless. I order a lot of items online and my heart sinks when I find out that the seller is using Fedex. I pay for 24 hr delivery, the web site says it is out for delivery and it does not arrive. This is a regular occurence.

I attempted to pick-up a parcel I had delivered here. Unsuccessful after about 5 attempts, on different days, and at different times (both before and after work).
The advertised opening times (6 am - 5:30 pm) are a complete lie. With no indication as to why it is closed, during the "normal" opening period.
I ended up getting a refund, after buying the item elsewhere. Avoid using this post office at all costs!

We thought we had walked into a birthday celebration in a 'disco', but no, it really was the natwest in shotton, although it can no longer be called a bank. Long, long queues, loud 'canned' pop music, balloons festooned around a hut-like area and only two bank tellers having to stand ( no seats) behind lecterns (very little security visible). We felt almost as sorry for them as we did for ourselves! There were two more bank staff approaching customers in said queue asking if they would like to use their internet banking facilities. NO the answer would presumably be as they were actually IN the bank hoping to be attended to by a REAL PERSON, not at home trying to use the internet banking system!! Oh dear natwest, you have got it wrong. The person I was with is moving banks asap.

I went to the bank to cancel the basic account card they sent to my old address and order a new one for the 4th time!!
Matt cancelled my cash account card! I ended up not able to get cash or pay for anything online for a week.. and I had to leave my assignment to get cash from the bank...
Matt was holding the card in his hand and reported it as lost!!!!
And It's not the first time this happens!
That's my reason for switching to another bank.

My husband has been with the co-op for years and and wanted to open a new account. After several attempts to telephone them without success, as no one answered the phone, he had to go into Chester. He went to the counter explained what he wanted only to be told he had to make an appointment. He explained he had been trying to ring for several days only to be told, "we are short staffed so we haven't been answering the phone." Is this the way to run and keep a business going? Needless to say he is taking his business elsewhere!

Central clean friendly and efficient free tea and coffee available. Based in a charming old building which was once traditional men's tailors.
Note this is the only co-op bank in the city the nearest other co-op banks being in Liverpool or Manchester

Seems to be hit and miss with this place. Went in two weeks ago to make a simple withdrawal and was told they had fun out of money for the day!
However we went in earlier today to make another withdrawal of just fifty and were given five hundred while my balance only reduces by fifty. Thanks Christine!!

Rang the branch and they put the phone down three times before they answered it. However when they did answer it they couldn't be more helpful. I would say the woman on the phone went above and beyond what i would expect from even the best banks. I think i'll stay with them :-)

Can do all sorts in here it's great. Machines full of dosh, seats for sitting on, people to talk to.
They've got those slidey doors which are fun. Also have a big picture of a bridge which is nice, creates a flipping good ambience.

Every time I go I’m always left waiting ten mins to be served. The bank opens at 10am which is no good for me . Market day Wednesdays they should be open earlier. Some of the original staff are happy but rest always have a depressed look on there face

Delightful helpful staff at Handforth Dean store branch.
Very quick response to everything they said they would do and done to time.
Completely trouble free change over in June from my previous bank, and once everything set up on line it has been totally trouble free.
Looking at previous comments - am I lucky? or as I suspect, M and S have got their act together and are providing a first class, stress free banking service.
On the basis of my experience I would definitely recommend their banking and have moved my credit card over too.

Why can I only get on to my M & S Internet account approximately 1 in 6 times I try to access it? I have been an account holder for a few years and never used to have a problem, but for the last few weeks I have been so frustrated and am considering closing my account. I don't have any problems with other bank accounts so what is going on?
I whoop with delight when the appropriate screen appears but it is testing my patience!

the branches are very easy to use and really helpful staff. i have an account that meets my needs and have been fine with online banking etc so far. i have had my account for two months and my vouchers arrived within four weeks.personally i like the extra security for peace of mind.

Can't use it. Security is so tight with so many questions, dates and numbers to remember either you write it all down and compromise your security or like me forget what you said on the spur of the moment on the phone to me and end up with a bank account you cannot access. I couldn't reset my security on the phone and was told to go into a branch. Tried that and they couldn't reset it for me either so I can use the debit card and thats it. I can't even close it.

Tried to do a wire transfer Three staff members sent me to someone else. As a premier member I was eventually sent upstairs where I was ignored by a lady on the phone who repeatedly broke off from her conversation to ask if I would go stand somewhere else. On the day I went 2 staff on counter, only a elderly man and me as customers.Cashier at far side never looked up to serve, the other told an old man querying a letter the bank has sent him advising of a dormant account of his deceased wife-she can't tell him if its live,what balance is in it or not,or anything other than theres "something" on screen and she can tell him to phone customer care line- if the man is the executor data protection is that they can speak of the deceased persons affairs to the next of kin as he is their now living heir/personal representative. Absolute rubbish customer care - she should have got a personal banker to address the letter rbs sent him not "go back home and phone up about it".

Banked here since school, do nothing for me rubbish rates, don’t answer phones and also the worst part all smaller branches locally are now all closed so I have to get into Chester and pay parking to drop cheques or cash in as won’t let others do it for me. It’s either Chester or Liverpool what a choice! leaving in the new year.

There’s usually not enough staff, and long queues. The person who was assigned to help me with online banking didn’t even know how to use it them self. They can be helpful if they actually know what they’re doing. It’s very clean and tidy, with a pleasant atmosphere.

All I wanted to do was use the machine to deposit coins into my account, after waiting to use machine I then had to wait in another queue for over 30 mins to see someone on the desk with a receipt to put the money in my account.All in all this took nearly an hour which is ridiculous and really poor.
It’s always the same when you need the information desk it takes an age to be seen

Awful! queued for 45mins! If you can't use the machine for what you want (of which most times you can't) then there are only 2 desks so just have to join the queue. Ridiculous. Will never open an account with Barclays again.
