I had spent many hours for the past few days, trying to get the sound back on my computer.
In the end, I found Derek Coster’s website for Computer Repairs. I gave Derek a ring on Saturday afternoon and he answered promptly. I told him my problem and also mentioned that I had concerns about the fan.
Derek was on a couple of calls and agreed to visit me about 5pm especially as he lived not too far away.
Derek duly arrived on time. The problem was quite complex but within twenty minutes he had got my sound back. He also opened up my computer and confirmed that the fan was in working order but he gave it a clean. He had some impressive fault finding software. I have worked with computers since the early days of ‘Sinclair’ etc and he is obviously expert in his field.
He charged me what I consider to be a fair and reasonable fee.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to my neighbours or friends. It is good to know he can be available. He can also remotely deal with most problems and I would trust him to use this method if mutually convenient.

Zaff was absolutely amazing in every way - punctual, reliable, respectful, incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated, trustworthy, flexible, honest and willing to go above and beyond in order to fix the major problems I was experiencing. The malfunctions on my laptop (damaged hard drive and malfunctioning motherboard) would have under most circumstances required a hyper-expensive data recovery company, but Zaff never gave up on trying to avoid this. And I'm happy to report that he succeeded, at a fraction of the cost of a recovery company and in a fraction of the time! I will very happily recommend PC Wizards on Site to anyone and everyone in need of urgent laptop or computer fixes or recovery!

I decided to try this place because of the great reviews i saw. Could not locate the address and I placed a call but there was no response. I was surprised to receive a call from them much later to say they were following up on my calls as they were very busy and explained why I could not locate them. They apologized and gave me a discount on my next appointment with them and the person who called was really nice. Thanks to PC Wizards on sites, I now understand why your rating is very high.

I will highly recommend to anyone to call ‘PC Wizards On Site’ for any issue regarding computers. The guys are genius, literally. I ran into some admin authority issue with my computer and just couldn’t fix it. Relying on their excellent rating I rang them, the response was very polite and friendly. Steer well clear of this cowboy firm. We put a MacBook Pro in for a trackpad replacement, it came back and the trackpad had not been fitted correctly, it was not flush with the Mac and that was not the worst of things... The bottom casing of the Mac had been damaged, there are various irreparable dents which Alex at Pc Wizard has failed to rectify.
Pc Wizard do not actually carry out the repair either, it was taken to ‘Laptop City’ in Luton, who when I called for a quote, quoted me half of what I had paid Alex at Pc Wizard for my repair...
Absolutely shocking service all round and one I certainly won’t be recommending.

Everytime I have come here to collect a parcel, I have been subject to verbal abuse by the man at the counter (who looks like he's in his 40's or above). Not only have I been humiliated and insulted by the man at the counter, I have also been sworn at. I made a complaint to Royal Mail in December 2018 and have made another complaint to Royal Mail yesterday following another incident with this disugsting member of staff on Monday 9th September where he hurled abuse at me, simply for me being on my phone. I am saddened by the fact that nothing happened to this individual following my initial complaint.

After being with my old bank for almost 40 years I moved to metro. I first started dealing with metro for a business account. We had been frustrated when our old business bank got rid of the business counter and tried to make everything go through machines. When there were problems we either had to queue up for ages often to be told we had to phone some call centre. We had better things to do with our time.
Since moving our business account it has been amazing. The staff are so friendly, not just to us but to everyone that walks in. I have not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for anything and even then I was offered coffee and kept updated.
Having been with my old bank for so long I guess I kept giving them chances but the poor level of service and that I had to wait over an hour to do a chaps payment because there was only 1 member of staff dealing with all enquires. I was also told I could not pay cash into my bank account and that it should be done by bank transfer? Really!
Metro made it so simple. I think it took about 15 mins to transfer my account and set up a new account for my son. The whole time the gentleman dealing with me was chatty and fun so it didn’t feel like an onerous task. As I already had a business account they could use my details from this so I didn’t have to go through everything again. At last a bank with common sense. My account was set up and I walked out of the branch with my new card and account details. Their switching service was excellent and within a couple of weeks my old account was closed and my payments transferred . I didn’t have to do a thing except update some card payment details online for things which were not direct debits or standing orders.
Well done metro bank Watford - you are super Stars ⭐️

Sorry but this has to be reviewed. I'm walking up the street trying to get to work and the street is littered with your staff. I had 6 of your staff in total getting in my way and stopping me and at one point shouting at people to 'come In and see what's going on' it's a bank.... Not a fair ground 🤔. I understand your a new store but you don't have to physically push leaflets down people's throat, if I want a leaflet I will take one. I don't need them pushed into my chest. People don't like that..

I don't know what the bank is like but I love the architecture. The banking hall facing onto the former market place was built for the London, City and Midland Bank, later known as Midland Bank and now part of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Plans were passed in June 1907 but the bank did not open on this site until 8th February 1909. It has survived redevelopment on each side, the building of Charter Place leaving one side more exposed than it originally was when a narrow passageway, Chequers Yard, led from the High Street at this point towards Beechen Grove.
The architect, Thomas Bostock Whinney (1860-1926), lived and worked in London and designed many banking premises during his career. He was a student of the Royal Academy and was made a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects. In 1895 he married one of Charles Dickens granddaughters.

So I visited on Wednesday 29 Jan 2020. I visited to get a statement printed out for work. Now there was 2 machines out of order (one had a notice stuck on to say its not working but the other did not have any and notice to say and I saw at least 30 people (in the 1hr I was in this branch) who jumped queue to try use the broken machine and no staff did anything)
Now all machines I used did not print any statements at this branch, even tho it had the options to do so. I asked a member of staff, a black woman about 5ft, who was walking around the branch assisting the customers to help and she pointed me to the machines and I kept telling her they are not printing any statements. I asked her to let me see one of the staff (who sits at a desk) to print one off and she kept insisting I use one of the machine as they did not print statements off anymore. I asked her several times why do this branch not print any off anymore and it took me asking her 30 times and 10 minutes of saying and asking "the machines are not printing the statements and why does the branch not print statements off anymore?" and her repeating "you print on the machine before she understood the question. I even asked her if its just if it was just this watford branch where the staff cannot print the statements from their computers anymore and she did not even understand the question. I do not think she speaks english that well.

Probably the worst Barclay's branch in the country. Usual wait is 25 minutes, last Friday it was 45 minutes. Don't blame staff they ate very good and efficient but having only 1 teller on is crazy. More interested in directing you to use machines.
Please reintroduce more tellers and look after your customers. They are walking out on a regular basis. I am a business customer and would move to a different bank if I could

This place is terrible and the staff have about as much common sence as a lemming! Been here twice to try and pay money into someone's account first time was told to use a machine which was useless as I was paying in a lot of money and it wouldn't fit in the machines compartment after a member of staff tryed for 5 minutes (wasting my time) they finally let me pay it in over the counter and with that being spoken rudely ! And the place was empty with 2 free bank clerks the whole time !
Second time I checked the opening times off this branch it said till 7pm ,I got there at 5.57 and the doors were shut ! there were 2 customers still inside but they wouldn't let me in or open the door there for falsely imprisoning said customers for the next 15 minutes until finally letting them out to then tell me it's 6.15 and we are closed ! Literally the worst bank and unfriendly rude and unhelpful staff I've come across in any field ! Espeacially as both times I've been trying to pay money into it ! Close your accounts take your money back and bank somewhere else as these people don't deserve to be anywhere near it people !!!!

Had to wait a long time to get served, unclear whether to sit and wait or just go straight to the desk at the back - found doing the latter quicker. Once served it was clear why there such a long wait as the staff seemed pretty incompetent although eventually got the job done.

Sometimes you have to wait long but I always had great service. Also, there overdraft was a great blessing for me during my masters studies. So I definitely recommend Halifax.

Always asked to use the paying in machines, however today neither were working. 6 people in the queue for the counter but only 1 person behind it. No urgency to get the queue down. Made to feel like your an inconvenience as the manager just saw the queue a d walked away. No apology for having to wait 25 mins....

Always busy but someone always comes to help here. A decent sized Halifax with good self service counters to prevent wasting time incase you are in a hurry. Open till 5pm everyday except sundays.
