Mike and his son Josh went above and beyond my expectations, the PC was collected early Friday evening and returned less than 24 hours later and it looks stunning, the cable management is spot on and I couldn't be happier. Earlier this year I had need to dispose of my old WindowsXP operating system desktop computer and find a new one.
I called in IT Positive and was given a first class service of advice and installation. All my old data from my obsolete computer was successfully transferred onto my new PC.
It has been running now absolutely perfectly for 9 months and I remain delighted.

I visited the iSquad shop in Chelmsford this afternoon to get them to look at my iPhone SE as I was having problems charging the phone. I feared the worst expecting them to have to change the charging port, however a few minutes later - and minus a ton of fluff - my phone was back to it's old self. The guy that served me was friendly, knowlegeable and best of all didn't charge me for the service. I was impressed with his honesty - as he could of told me anything - and I promised him a decent review.

Of course you cannot locate the transaction, because according to your records it's "fixed".
I don't consider a power button that does not give that reassuring "click" when you press it to be fixed.
Then, for it not to work at all a couple of weeks later, means it wasn't properly "fixed" in the first place.
What's the point contacting the store to discuss it further when obviously you will do all you can not to reimburse me and tell me more rubish.
If you really cared about giving me good service you would have done all you could at the time to make it a good experience for me.

I had a major failure of my iMac and risked losing a huge amount of data. ISquad changed my broken hard drive and rescued my lost data. They worked really hard to do this as the normal backup hadn’t worked correctly. Their knowledge and genuine desire to get the job done to satisfaction is brilliant, I will be using them again for anything technical that breaks down.

Update: I wish I could keep my original review but unfortunately my computer has not been right since these guys replaced my drive with an SSD and put in a new battery and touch pad. Typing is choppy, performance is extremely slow, the battery doesn't stay charged and I'm getting the SBBD just as much now as I was before. Ive been back 3 times trying to get this sorted driving back and forth from stortford to Chelmsford-what a pain and Its still not right. I now have to take it back again and I'm really frustrated with the whole thing. Original Review: Excellent service! Funny story: I had made an appointment to have my 2011 MacBook Pro fixed with a place inside market square, but I was lead to this place, by maps; having come from outside the area and not knowing Chelmsford, I thought I was in the right place. When I walked in and said to Dawid and Gordon that I had an appointment, they kind of gave me a funny look, but went ahead and started taking my details. It was during this process when I found the email confirmation and said the name of the place where my original appointment was, we all had a laugh, and George said something about being lead to the better place; well, he was right. Not only did they accommodate me last minute, as it was two hours to closing, but went above and beyond the COD. These guys installed a new SSD, new OS, new battery, cleaned her all up and sent her packing, looking and operating like she just came off the line! And! And, gave me a great price! I could not have asked for better, friendlier service, nor a better deal anywhere!

Absolute cretins, you would think that a phone repair shop would be able to easily replace a screen on an iPhone 6s without much problem, especially as I guess that this is the majority of all their business. Unfortunately not!!!!!!! I took the phone in and they replaced the screen with a cheap Inferior screen which is absolutely unresponsive. After about 2 weeks the left hand side of the screen started to bleed and now has a yellow mark around 2 inches long. Absolute waste of time and money.
I edited this review because the manager of the store thought I was trying to promote a competitor. I'm not, I'm wanting people to see what cowboys this company really are.
Look at all the fake five star reviews this company has, all from people with brand new accounts and one review. I am a local guide, I am giving this review so that other people do not have to waste time and money like I have.
The phone has since been sold on and replaced with an iPhone 8, I will never come back to your store again and this review stands. How you are saying that you have looked through your records and can't see my transaction is stupid, what are you searching for? My Google guide name? What you're saying does not make sense.
Your staff are incompetent, they ruined an iPhone 6s by fitting a cheap Chinese screen that didn't last 2 weeks, it was sold on spares or repairs because of this.
I never dealt with you, the person in the pictures. I dealt with the taller man in your shop, who was rude, arrogant and treated me like an idiot because I am hard of hearing and don't know anything about iPhones, I am an android user.
This review stands, you ruined a phone with cheap parts and sub standard labour.
That's the bottom line, I paid for a service and didn't get it. 2 weeks that screen lasted and it started bleeding and was unresponsive. I was actually informed that the reason the screen started bleeding was because it was damaged whilst being fitted. Stuff your warranty and stuff your poor service.

Went into curry's at the Chelmer retail park to purchase a google home and a surround sound speaker. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative about the products. I was mainly helped by Luke who helped to show the different speakers, him and his colleague helped me to make a very informative decision. I am very satisfied with the products and their service!

Originally tried to buy antivirus software on line and download it. The order failed. Was told it would take several days to fix. Cancelled the order. Went to their Chelmsford village store, picked what was displayed as the same software from their display. Told me it was £39, instead of £19.99. Apparently they had put the wrong software on the wrong hooks in the display. Staff were surly and unhelpful. Gave up with PC world bought the software online cheaper from a competitor.

They send your items wrong!! And over charge you on post office costs. Not to mention sometimes your queing for 40 mins plus with just one old lady with glasses serving. Poor service in this store and the asian man is rude and unhelpful ask for signed and sends normal. Worst post office in chelmsford!! Go to wh smith in town service is much better friendly staff and swift service also the staff are much happier there dont look like someone whos constantly chewing on a wasp unlike this post office!

Not impressed had an email saying my parcel would be delivered before 12pm. It's now 6pm pm. I have been waiting around all day with nothing. Tracked parcel which originally said before 12 which had then been changed to scheduled for the 8/7/19. Payed around 20 quid to have the item shipped from the us. Not happy at all.

Useless. Didn't deliver the parcel the first time due to "incorrect address" (which was correct) then scheduled a delivery for the next day over the phone then the driver "forgot to put the parcel in the van" so then I had to drive to the depot to collect instead. At least the staff on the phone and in the depot were friendly.

Would also give 0 if i could. My brother ordered an item off eBay. Sender sent confirmation of postage to the correct address and the tracking number. Was eventually traced to Chelmsford Sorting Office as last location. No reason why this item should have been lost. DeWalt battery charger was never received by my brother. Just as frustrated as the previous Reviewer that it has to be the sender who claims compensation. Think this sorting office need to review their staff training and how they deal with parcels. Just in case the said sorting office would like to investigate further the tracking number is GQ1688 6842 9GB.

I would put 0 if I could. I had medical items sent to me which may have been understamped but I never received the items nor a message to say the item was understamped. On a second occasion which was linked to the first an absolutely life or death essential item was sent by an official body on next day morning delivery .On phoning was told item had been delivered and recorded that recipient had refused to accept it. Totally untrue. Told item was not back at depot. After numerous calls to sender and sorting office we turned up at sorting office just before closing at 2.00. After some time the packet was " found" minus the important yellow siickers for urgent delivery. Already had photo from sender showing stickers ON at office of sending. Has to be sender who complains !! The latter is an issue with the postal service itself but I have no doubt where the other 2 problems lay---- the lazy and possibly dishonest staff at the sorting office.

First time I have been in here and hopefully the last. Only went on to collect a parcel and 2 people were in front of me. The guy in there was fine and chatty with the 2 elderly ladies in front of me, my turn at the counter and he doesn’t acknowledge me and carries on counting his Euros. About a minute passes still no word then he simply takes my card goes out back and hands me my parcel all without muttering a word or apologising for keeping me waiting.
Some people may say this was efficient but I think it was damn rude and will not buy anything from his shop in the future

Horrendous staff in boreham post office. Was told I can wait a while if I want my parcel posting as she was doing the banking. I had my 1 year old son in my arms and it’s 1 degree out. Amazing customer service!
I started an account recently and as I walked through the doors, I was greeted and offered a free hot drink.
I was talked through everything so I understood it and made sure I was on what was right for me.
My account was set up within half an hour and had my card printed in minutes.
Also received a free little goody bag at the end, with lollies and pens, including a bank card holder to prevent any unwanted contactless payments.
Would highly recommend.

Very Slow service. You can't order a paying in book in the branch. I now have to write every little account detail about myself and the sender on the cheque and on the paying in slip. Never had to do this with HSBC.

The staff at Chelmsford are condescending, arrogant, and ultra negative. Even though I had my main account with them for many, many years, plus my savings with them, and had been a loyal customer for so long - they would not let my wife open a basic account ! She had just started work herself so wanted her own account but they had no intention of allowing this. Even though we produced umpteen pieces of evidence they kept sending us away. We were treated like we were criminals who were trying to get something from them. It reminded me of the comic sketch where the lady at the computer keeps saying "the computer says No!" We decided to go to a proper bank nearby and the difference in customer service was a million miles. They were polite, welcoming and helpful - the total opposite of the Co-op Chelmsford. After about an hour her account was set up (and with far better interest too). My advice would be to avoid these Chancers and go to 'proper' High Street bank.

If you are a member of the FSB you wont find a better bank. Absolutely faultless all-round service. Their low bank charges cannot be beaten. Can highly recommend Co-op business banking for FSB members, look no further.

Very Slow service. You can't order a paying in book in the branch. I now have to write every little account detail about myself and the sender on the cheque and on the paying in slip. Never had to do this with HSBC.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Having had a account for 18 years building up a small fund for my oldest daughter we wanted to change the account into her name and open her her own current account. We had been informed a couple of weeks ago by a member of staff that us we just needed to come in with her at any time, just call in. So, having queued in the Saturday traffic for over 30 mins to get into Chelmsford, we today went in to do this. When we got there we were told we needed an appointment to do this and they had no free appointments until 5th / 6th December. We explained the situation & that we were following instructions from their staff but there was no acknowledgement of this, no empathy and no compromise. We were actually told though they could close the account & give us a cheque for the money - didn’t need an appointment for that!! Never been treated so badly by a bank - we will be closing this account & opening 2 new accounts with a bank that actually values its customers

Greeted with a very warm 'good morning', which was much appreciated and put me in a very good mood. Only one customer was with one of the three cashiers, so no waiting in a queue for me. However this was five past nine on a Saturday morning.
Cashier serving me was very friendly and helpful and very efficient when the customer computer terminal froze by quickly resetting it. The man next to me was very rude to his cashier but the lady was very calm and dealt with him very well.

The counter staff are friendly, patient and helpful. Just these points would have justified a 5 star rating.
However in 2018 shortly after my father's death I was allocated a branch financial advisor to assist with the end stages of probate. On one occasion when I visited for another matter he publically shouted " oh he's here again" and in front of other staff he ridiculed me. Some of the staff looked surprised but none of them spoke to me to ask if I wanted to make a complaint or took that member away which effectively reenforced his behaviour through collusion. He should have exhibited empathy and patience during my difficult period not taken advantage of the natural vulnerability that comes with bereavement. Prehapes this should be considered during training or recruitment. In addition the account he opened for me wasn't done correctly at his end.

Queuing for the counter can take too long. Happens too often. Most of the time one member of staff too short. Complained recently. Need a coffee and biscuits and seat if were waiting more than seven minutes.

i have been a customer with Lloyd's for many years, however now am leaving and moving to another bank due to the very rube and abrupt woman who would not print and freeze my account just after my wedding so i could stop and just collect my thoughts and work out what was due in and due out as my account was all over the place, i was told to basically handle my account properly and keep myself up to date, lets see if (or when) she can do the same when she gets marred and has things going in and out of her account and has to try and work it out on the not so easy to use app!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very bad customer services! Unprofessional staff, today I went to request my bank statement and Mrs Priya serve me she was very rude and unprofessional ,she wasted my time as First she ask me why i need my bank statement and after that she was keep telling me that i can print out my statement at my home after 15 mints she try to print it for me and her tablet gone off and then she went inside the office with my bank card and she took 30 more mints to come out having her food in her month just to tell me that she cant give me my bank statement as she cannot identifies my details ,no manners to speak to customers, she look like she is there to fight, or she had fight at home and she is still in it, totally unprofessional bringing her own matters at job and taking her fraustration on customers, such a shame she is.... she didn’t even ask my ID ,I refuse her service and request that someone els serve me ! Then Another lady I forgot her name but she was also Indian serve me with full professional attitude and respect ! But there was no manager to help me out and bank look like fish market!
HSBC lost there standard , very bad customer services as 2 Indian women for customer services and old people were standing to be served around 45 mints !

Really poor service. Would have been 0 stars if allowed.
Call centre advised me I'd need to pop into branch to open a kids savings account and told me what documents to take with me.
When i went to the branch, fully prepared, i was told they only see people by appointment. Apparently most branches do not require appointments but Chelmsford manager insists on it due to how busy they are.
A bit surprising as i could see 6 staff and there were only 2 customers. When i asked to see the manager i was told he had just popped out but i could come back in 5 minutes to see him. So i did, still the same 2 customers but now with the manager there was 7 staff.
The manager was happy to sit and spend time the time with me that it would take to open an account but only to explain how busy they were (still no other customers and staff were sitting around chatting) Ended up advising me I should try WItham branch as they were less busy!
Couldn't help but come away with the impression that the manager was only interested in maintaining his policy despite how bizarre it seemed in the circumstances.
"Try Witham", ridiculous. So I'll move my accounts and try a different bank instead thank you.

Absoutley appalling service. I applied for a small loan. I never recieved a letter from them despite being told by head office that it had been sent out. I was told I need to sign an agreement but the branch said no need as it had been done on line. The guy at the front desk told me my loan account had been set up and all I would need to do was transfer it to my flex account. No loan account set up !!! No transfer. The letter he printed off confirming the loan gave a number to call that was available to 8pm. Guess what I phoned at 7.45 pm - office closed !!!! Useless. Go somewhere else. I will be going after them for compensation.

Clueless mortgage advisor and don't want to deal with issues in the branch and want you ringing the call centres so you don't take up their time in the branch. Made it so hard to renew the mortgage and very unhelpful. Incorrect info too and didn't know about buy to let mortgages either. Shocking. We'll be moving to first direct for our banking and mortgage and been a member for over 30 years.

I did not have a very good experience with there mortgage advisor she didn't even know what an help to buy ISA was she had to ring round to find out what it was even though its a product Nationwide promote they were generally very bad through out our mortgage application no one seemed to know what they were doing they did keep us informed we had to chase up everthing

It's a convenient place to bank.
There's free WiFi
You're not charged for visa card transactions nor monthly notifications
You can easily withdraw money and deposit with ATM machines
However it's a bit annoying when You're told to book an appointment in order to open an account
It's really beneficial for international students
Try and start online application before visiting the bank to open an account, remember to keep the reference number handy
