Very poor service, had a couple of collections which were ok but then no response back when e-mailed or phone calls only to find out they cannot collect the batteries they initially quoted for. VERY poor customer service. At least if we had been told after the first collection they could not handle our waste we would understand but to completely ignore a customer is just ignorant.

I ordered a laptop and they were by far the cheapest on the market .
It arrived exactly as promised with a text from DPD to say the exact time it was delievered.
it arrived in new packaging looks brand new.
i had to call to ask how to connect to my wifi. the customer service was above and beyond what was expected.

Possibly the worst experience with this company. They supplied a vastly inferior PC to the one I had chosen and when it arrived it still wasn't right. A frustrating catalogue of errors meant I ended up returning the machine for a refund. They still have the fixing bracket for my SSD drive and not so much as an apology for the way things were handled. It took weeks and several emails before I got my money back. Had a much better experience with another company in the end. Buy with caution.

We brought 3 x I pads in all with screen damage to this shop and paid a lot of money to have no iPads working in the end. 1 they said they were unable to fix to the screen being too damaged which was fair enough. The other we brought one home and it started to bleed on the screen we brought it back and they said it was the battery leaking. The second iPad they said the same regarding a bleeding battery it did work for two days before showing a water like mark on the screen. Top and bottom don’t waste your money for them to kill your iPhones iPads etc !!! This was last year but the reason for writing the review is the exact same thing has happened to a friend recently same place. Not good at all.

I have taken both mine and my daughters phone here to be fixed. Fantastic customer service, extremely helpful and superb service on both phones. They even dropped my phone off for me later in the evening. Prices was both less than originally quoted. I will certainly be recommending them to other people. Thanks guys 😊

My android phone wouldn't switch on and I was expecting a hefty bill to repair it. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and I left my phone with them to repair. Within 3 days it was fixed. When I collected it they showed me how to back up my phone and how to get the best from the features on my phone. It was very reasonable price too. I would recommend going to WiiFix anytime you have a problem as they could save you a lot of money, particularly if like me, you are thinking you might have to buy a new phone because the current one's not working. I would recommend you visit WiiFix first.

I popped in PC World last week to get a laptop. Daz was amazing, very helpful, bust just as we were setting up finance the computer system crashed so we couldn't finish the payment process and had to come home without a laptop. I came back 2 days after to ask for the same laptop, when I was advised by a different staff that the model we picked 2 days before had been discontinued and they weren't expecting any more in of the specific computer any time soon. I've been offered the display model for the same price (even though it was sat there for possibly months with the screen on approx 10 hrs a day). I did not accept this, but found another one, which was to my liking. We were setting up finance and I was about to make the initial payment after about an hour of faffing. I had the new laptop in front of me in the box and I was ready to take it home. Unfortunately a notification came up that they needed 24 hours before they can confirm the purchase, so I had to come home with empty hands one more time. I was promised to get a call once it's been confirmed. I've been waiting for two days now and still no news from PC World. I find it ridiculous that I want to spend £800 in a shop and they haven't been able to sell the product I want for a week now. This is why the high street is dying!!

Great place for all your domestic gadgets some great TVs in there. but it's not Maplins. Staff very friendly and they do leave you to browse once they have done the initial pounce on you . prices are not all they are hyped up to be. I just went in for a quick nose. see if the tvs prices had come down enough to warrant investing in. for me they where some good bargains but I am willing to wait a little while longer.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
Sent my phone by post, quoted 48 hour turnaround but then no contact after 2 weeks. Tried contacting them by both email and by phone but no response, looked further in the Internet reviews and started to get suspicious so decided to finish work early to take a trip to the shop (35 miles away) went to the shop and asked for my phone back but stated that my phone was not there but at the repair centre. I asked for the contact details which they said they could not give me this then asked a few more questions which he could not answer. I contacted the Police to report my phone stolen whilst in the shop but that didn't phase them as they were aware that it was an issue that I needed to pick up with a solicitor and not the police. Asked them to have the phone back in the shop for the Saturday which they contacted me on the Friday to say that it was fixed and available to pick up on the Saturday, 25 mins before setting off text message came saying that there was an issue with my phone and cannot be fixed!!!!!!. Went to pick it up and got it fixed locally for the same price. Please be aware of these con men!! DO NOT TAKE ANY DEVICE HERE!!! I am also going to be reporting them to trading standards regarding this matter!

I sent my items to be sold and it's been a week since I've sent them in and i've not received any contact from them since. No reply to 5 emails I sent since they received the item. Funny how they were replying really quickly before I sent the item in.
There courier didn't pick up the parcel like promised either so I had to fork out money to post it to them too.

Helpful staff with a good selection of stationary items available. You can also get snacks and drinks here. When the main post office is closed, they provide parcel services where you can get your parcels weighed etc. I've never seen it busy, but an ideal place to get a drink after coming out of John Lewis before walking to the other end!

Strangest visit to post office I've ever had and very intrusive. Went to post a package and was asked what was in my package. Not the value of the package but the actual content . Overly intrusive if you ask me . And none of their business. Told him what was in it, as it was nothing too personal but don't expect these sorts of questions from post office staff.

Although the staff at that post office is mostly courteous, the post office was closed at a time that it was not supposed to be closed, i.e. on Saturday 23rd December at 19: 35. This was a source of considerable annoyance to customers who would normally have been entitled to service at that time. The man left in charge of the shop was both rude and unhelpful.

Extremely rud staff specially a guy whom answer questions with no manners at all.
I had not even articulated two words when this person was already interrupting me talking and saying things to me in a rude way.
Nothing compared to a proper Post Office branch ran by Royal Mail and not third parts.

What a liar!! Just to be clear I paid and printed my labels online for two items a big one and a tiny one. On the website there were instructions to take this to the post office and that is what I did. I didn’t even had an envelope that didn’t fit (liar) I just asked I needed to post these and this person if we can call it person. Showed his frustrations about me not being sure what to do and started talking rudely shaking an envelope and showing me a box as well. At that point I tried to communicate but he didn’t let me do it by his unmannered attitude. His statement about the envelope and other parts of the story are not truth.
My question about the uniform was because I’m used to deal with British or foreign staff wearing it which means they work for Royal Mail directly so those need to follow the company ethics which are high customer service skills which is clear this individual will never acquire due to his arrogant personality.
Just check how he treats me as being stupid on his answer.
I’m not a stupid flipping silly I’m a graduated computing scientist and I will now raise a compliant with Royal Mail.
But hey just don’t go to this place. I’m not the first one here providing bad reviews and in the UK, customer service is the most important for our society.
Lying on:
- Envelope didn’t fit. I didn’t even had the chance to interact or pass anything to him.
- I never tried to force anyone to read anything. Just asked questions.
- I had two items, one packed in a tiny envelope and a medium sized sealed box. He assumed himself I was trying to fit a 45x20x4cm box in a 10x15x1cm envelope.
- The only person in the shop at that moment didn’t react at all or even said anything.

Usually very busy with not enough staff dealing with PO business, plus they are generally miserable. Wish there was another one near by. Be sure to check the charges for parcels etc, I've been charged £2.80 for smallest of Jiffy bags weighing less than 0.5kg!

The only time I could go there they were rather quick with the service, but apart from that, the opening times are ridicoulous, a Post office that opens at 9 and closes at 17.30? If someone works office hours it's impossible to go, they should open at 8 or have at least one night where they close at 19.00 ( as it happens in many other Post Offices), like this it's prohibitive for most people.

Wanted to change some money today as my bank has closed in the area. I can see why the post office is struggling. The first lady I spoke with clearly doesn't enjoy working there and rolled her eyes at the prospect of having to go through a load of coins despite me bagging them up and it being her job. The second lady was great, very polite but the first lady has put me off from using them again. Rather hold onto the money until I can get to the city centre in future where my money is welcomed.

Was going there for 1 year to send my parcels was all fine exapt 1 lady i preverd not deal with. After the last few times i desided not to go there anymore .In once most horrible service ever .They have new men there ...he is kind but the brain ....unbelivble! He ask 10 quastions about each parcel no any another one ask like him in any postoffice i have ever seen!
They all do so exctreamlly diffeculd about parcels, even small once they check one by one while they look small enought to send as normal parcel. They was not like this at all.
1 lady there should really learn how to talk to peaple. Really terrible persone.
There was a lady there how was very helpfull and not diffeculd at all, after last visit, she did difficuld about only 1 cm larger! I had to push on the parcel to make it smaller and it was ok after that!! She was never like this , and she was the best there, so thats why i desided to stop going there .
Just horrible right there at the moment... very happy there is another post office close to me.

I've been a couple times already, and each time I've been served by a young man who couldn't look more miserable in their job. Each time, not a single word is spoken to me and he never makes eye contact. I went in yesterday, and as I knew it would be closing at 4, I just made it in 10 minutes before close. As I walk towards the back of the shop, he gives me a death stare as I approach the back. I go and I stand in the queue. There's no one else waiting, but he's busy counting change so I wait for him to finish so I can send my parcel. I'm stood there till at least 10 past 4, in which he decides to get up, walk out and turn the lights off inside the room as if I was not stood there waiting the entire time for assistance. People like him makes me wonder how they still have a job. I've worked in customer facing roles and there isn't a chance I could get away with behaviour like this. I swear the staff of Post Office are just untouchable.

I loved coming here once. Amazing members of staff some present, a couple past though one staff member with no internal filter ie says what she thinks without considering the customer (insulted me when I was asked if I liked the new store refurb. ) When I said 'no' she said and I quote

Worst Hsbc branch that I have been to. Came here at 12.30 to meet up with someone. Door was locked so I kept knocking. No one opened nor explained to me why it was locked. Plaque on door showed open. My friend tried to open door but was unable to.
Eventually another lady came along and tried to get inside too without luck. After 5 minutes the cashier opened the door to let 2 people out but locked the door again
I tried to ask why she wouldn’t let us in but she just closed the door in my face and ignored me
It was only the 2 people exiting who saw me trying to get in who explained that it was their lunch time.
There were no signs on door saying that they would close for lunch. The very dark lady who opened the door was really rude. I had issues with her on a subsequent visit with her asking me for my password also.

Went in to sort an account out that had closed. Over 3 weeks later no action or money has been transferred out yet. Despite three chase up calls to HSBC who say they’ve chased the manager up and he will ring me within three days every time. Still nothing.

Second I've order my debit card to bank,and by mistake my card is somewhere else. Not enough counters for the customer base. Not open on Thursday and doesn’t open until 10am when it is open. As an TBS business customer, I now have to use NatWest to pay my takings into my account.
Staff are always slow and a visit often takes over half an hour to do exactly the same as something that took 5 minutes maximum at the old RBS branch.
I’ve just typed this entire review whilst being at the front of the queue and I’ve still not been seen, even though one woman is just stood there not serving.

I'm cannot believe that the Urmston branch opens at 10.00am shuts at 4.00pm, closed on a Thursday, this is crazy. And I know what there answer will be well, theres other branches that open early yes but there not LOCAL!!!!!! terrible.

Be prepared to wait over half an hour everytime I visit this branch the staff cannot handle the customer capacity. The staff are rude and clearly do not want to be there. Dread any visit I have to make.

Visited this branch today, looks really rough and worn down, there was a notice that they reducing hours to 3.30pm in couple of weeks. There were two staff members sat, however only one was available to speak to customers, quite a long queue too. As much as I prefer online, I needed to put cash in my account.

I use a lot though queues can be problematic. You can't pay in cash now at the special machine inside unless you have a business account which I used to do saving time. It's becoming a problem putting in cash full stop and I've been a customer for many years. Staff mostly friendly though newer members a bit more jobsworth.

Never open on time, even though the late opening time of 10am happens everyday at the same time.
Usually only one cashier who is dealing with some long drawn out query while a miserable queue of people who just want to get some cash and go to work stand patient and frustrated while trying not to trigger the mechanism that opens the door.
Awful, awful place. Closing my accounts asap.

If you visit on a Saturday be prepared to wait! Staff are helpful and don't try to push other products too much. Provides the usual banking services really.

This is what I was greeted with when I was directed to the local Halifax building society, courtesy of the location stated on my navigation system for the address from the Halifax’s official branch locator website. I could not see anything resembling a Halifax building society when I arrived at the aforementioned location. I had a quick look around the immediate vicinity, in the hope I would get lucky. I even looked inside the dustbin in case the cash point was lurking inside (anything is possible in Swinton)!! Unfortunately I did not find any building society, but I did find a half finished KFC and an empty bottle of white lightning, so all was not in vain!! Easily accessible for wheelchair and disabled people. Until I find out where the branch is located, I really cannot recommend !

The staff are unbelievably rude. Not in the slightest bothered about their customers. I won’t be banking with Halifax after today. I pretty much got told it’s my fault as a customer that he’s losing his job. Was told I cannot take more than £50 out of my own account even though I had my passport with me but was told I could transfer as much as I like to another account to withdraw money and the reason for this is to reduce fraud?!! Explain the sense in that to me? If it wasn’t my account it would still be fraud if I transferred it!! All the staff had terrible attitudes.

Nearly always only 1 cashier window open (even when there's a queue of seven or more people). The alternative Customer Service point is often not staffed and often no one available to use an office for private discussion - which is totally unacceptable when personal finances are being discussed.

Very poor service.Not enough ataff .Customers waiting over 30 mins to be served.Avoid!!! I think its a Natest ploy to get people to bank online!!! Possibly the worst bank in England!!!! I did not want to give it one star if Im honest but its not the staffs fault and Claire the advisor is lovely and helpful.

Needs more staff and longer opening hours, including Saturday mornings. Cracking a smile wouldn't hurt either, takes far too long to get any service in this branch. The closure of Eccles and Irlams o th Height branches has increased the footfall of Monton significantly. The service has suffered as a consequence.

Not enough staff on counters. Over an hour to get any service. Also I wanted to put a change order in and was told to go online and do it, why I couldn't just give then it over the counter while I was there I don't know. Never had problems like this in RBS

Staff member was very helpful she spotted my card was four months out of date and ordered a new one for me. But why did I not have a new one? Replacement never arrived.
Visited a NatWest the day before and found this pretty much the same, staff very helpful.

The lady who dealt with me at this halifax was very rude and failed to overcome the problem with my card. She left me on the phone to external Halifax workers to “sort my own problem out”, whilst she went to chat to her colleague.
