Great to see computer orbit going strong. It's great to be able to buy something the same day. Got some laptop memory which is not as easy as it might sound and an SSD and both worked great. Some of the cases in there were great. Would love to have a spending spree in there.

Seemed nice and professional enough during initial contact and PC collection.
Then the Saturday night came and he called me between 10-15 times between 2-4am shouting whilst walking home and clearly extremely drunk. He wasn't abusive and I assume he had mistaken me from a friend by the jovial way he mumbled on. But still I do not expect to have my sleep ruined by a complete stranger whom I am paying for work.
He did apologise but this did not seem genuine and he still charged me full price. Had it been the other way round and I was his customer I would have offered at least some form of refund for my own error and drunken un-professionalism.
Got the laptop back which took a little bit longer due to parts being ordered (Which is absolutely fine). However after it was dropped off it very quickly became clear that the sound no longer worked at all and several of the screws were threaded. He stated this was done by 'previous work' which i cannot confirm or deny. He came back out free the speaker issue free of charge within a few days.
My recommendation is to get a phone for work and a phone for personal use as your lack of professionalism and disturbance of my night has turned this from a 4 star into a 1 star.
I was reluctant to leave this review as he genuinely seems like a nice guy but my honesty got the better of me.

I can't say how grateful I am for the lovely chap who stayed open for me to tax a car I'd just bought. I'd driven up from Sheffield to buy the car and the online tax service didn't accept the reference numbers. I had to get to a Post Office and it had already gone 5:30pm! I phoned and the gentleman in the shop waited for me so I could tax the car. If he hadn't have done that, I wouldn't have been able to drive the car back home that night and I would've had to find accommodation for the night or sleep in the car until morning!
What a lovely guy. He really was a true gent and helped me out big time! Thank you.

I have used Jackson Street News and Gateshead Post Office many times and had no problems what so ever, it can be very busy at certain times of the day but that is expected of any Post Office, I have used the Passport checking service and received a great service overall, staff are very friendly and will be back

I been today afternoon to ask about a packet that I send in Romania from the post whit royal mail.They put me the address wrong and when I put the track number was saying they will sensed back.
I ask if she can check what is happening and I give her the receive. She didn't know where you can find the reference number on the receive.
I showed her the referees number and she told me the pack will gone come back because the address is wrong.
I ask her if she can find where is the pack and she told me that she don't know because she never been in Romania.
I ask her if is possibly to change the receiver address and she said that is not possible because she doesn't know where's the pack because she never been in Romania.
At all my questions about the pack she answered that she she doesn't know because she never been in Romania.
I find this a very upsetting answer.
When I pay for the service nobody ask me where I am from.
I find very disappointing customer service.

Went to collect two parcels yesterday. When I arrived, the desk clerk was sitting on a folding chair chatting with a couple of co-workers. She got up when she saw me, did the ID stuff and went to get my things. She came back with one box, which puzzled me as I was expecting two and was sure that it said '2' on the red card (which she had taken). Anyway, I took the box and went over to the side of the room to see if somehow the two parcels had been put into one box. The box clearly said '2 of 2' in pen, written by the postman who had attempted delivery. So I went back over to the desk clerk, who had resumed her position on the folding chair, shootin' the breeze with her co-workers. I told her that I thought there was another parcel, that I was expecting two. She started to walk toward her computer screen, then stopped and said "If there were two, I would've given you two." Well, that was me told. I'm not a confrontational person, unfortunately, so I left even though she didn't bother checking, and we both knew the parcel was back there. So now I'm having it redelivered when I could've just picked it up with the other parcel, had the desk clerk not been inexplicably unwilling to just check. Lousy.

Good collection hours, including weekend hours. Close distance to transport Metro buses trains etc. Reasonably well organized. Still, not a good replacement for your own local post office (which has disappeared).

My experience is average here. I came here for job induction and they kept us waiting for 2hrs as the instructor was late due to some reasons which I feel was unprofessional. Although the area is very big lot of warehouses and vehicles inside. Security is on the good side without appointment they won't let you enter or need to speak to the receptionist through speaker phone. Also the work environment is better told by royal mail ex-employes. Overall if they wouldn't have kept me waiting I must have given 5 stars.

This post office is nothing short of spectacular. The dude behind the counter can come across a bit slow at first, but once you poke him with a stick into his ribs a few times he will start moving, and from then on everything is a smooth ride really. He’s also quite handsome, which won’t help your parcels arrive any faster, however, making the visit to this little gem also a visual experience. Highly recommended!
PS: careful at the entrance door. It opens to the outside!

A pleasant experience! I am a very British man so I have high standards for both my tea and my Royal Mail services! All I have to say is I wish I could find tea as good as the service I received during my Royal Mail transaction.

Excellent service! I was in town on business and I had to ship a package to my boss but I was unfamiliar with the procedure since I live in the U.S. and the guy there was very patient with me as he explained the rates and how to address the package several times. My package got to my boss in record time. I will definitely go back to that office when I'm back in town for business.

So I’m in the Adult Product Industry so sometimes I have difficulty shipping my risqué products. Although, the staff was very knowledgeable in the different self indulging items I offer and what is the best ways to ship my parcels.
They helped me on how to ship my lubes, lotions and oils to keep leaks to a minimal. They showed me how to gently insert and wrap the more sensitive personal mechanical devices. Also they showed me which long cylinder parcels are the most secure fitting for the more solid personal products.
So I just want to say thank you for the personalized device shown to me. I will continue to visit this Royal Mail location for every single one of my needs that I may have. It was was truly a pleasurable experience.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the postman who went way beyond the call of duty on 16th December in Low Fell. We were off on holiday (taxi booked at 1.30) to celebrate my birthday and Christmas and my husband had bought me a special present which was supposed to have arrived the previous day. It was tracked as being out for delivery so I looked out for the post van. I asked the driver if he had my parcel and he said no but a colleague must have it - so I went out on foot to try and find him. Meanwhile the postman had driven off to meet up with his colleague, find the parcel and was on his way back to deliver it to my by hand. What service!!! Saved the day - any my husband's bacon.

Awful service, stood in a queue for almost 30 minutes waiting to be served while the staff on duty took turns to leave the kiosk leaving only one counter open. The experience was made a great deal worse by the poor attitude and lack of apology or acknowledgement for the time spent in the growing queue and had all staff on duty lend a hand at this busy time perhaps there would have been a lot less customer frustration.

Friendly, helpful staff. Done a paper-round for them for them for 3 years and known them since I was little and would consider them family friends. They will go out their way to ensure a good service and are always helpful I can't fault them in anyway.

The so called post master "mick" is arrogant and so unhelpful it's a disgrace. I've logged a complaint with the post office as his attitude over the past 4 years or so is a disgrace. The way he talks to his customers is terrible. I asked him for a pen and was told that he was writing with it and I could buy one for 50 pence. Then he shakes his head as though it was a post office and how bang out of order I was for asking for a pen! Then today told me not to come back. That's a pleasure...I don't want to speak to rude, arrogant, people who are sick of their jobs serving the public. I shall wait for the post office to reply about this as you can't go around being a tool to everyone mick. Not think it's about time you retired?

Guy behind the counter makes you feel like you're a inconvenience being there. Repeatedly impatient and rude, also had large letters sent as small parcels. Will be going to an other Gateshead post office in future, somebody at Royal Mail customer services could do with giving him some more training in how to deal with the general public.

Guy who runs this post office was routinely refusing to let me send stuff large letter rate. He interperates the rules so that you can't send anything large letter. I stopped using this post office and never had any problems elsewhere. I even contacted customer services about it :they said he was wrong and had over charged me by making me post my item small parcel rate. Told him on my next visit but he was arguing the toss again. Rude and obstructive, overcharging customers by bumping them up to the next most expensive letter/parcel size. Avoid if possible. There are plenty of better post offices in the area.

On a hot day during a bike ride I grabbed a can of warm pop from what claimed to be chilled drinks. When I mentioned it I grumpily told "it's just been filled" . No in actual fact it was turned off. The warm drink I could handle. Rudeness and lies are just terrible customer service.

Imagine a mixture of Cruella Deville and Victor Meldrum and you have the majority of staff in this place.
If there's a problem, they'll make you aware, if there isn't, they'll for sure invent one.
Bar the odd members of staff who are helpful, the others are horribly rude.

The post office apparently shuts earlier than it says it does on the official Post Office website (5:30pm instead of 7pm on a Saturday). Was faced with rudeness and a dirty look by the older guy when I informed them that the info was wrong on the official Post Office website. I was going to buy other bits and bobs in the shop but probably won't return again.

Since closing a lot of the branches this is the closest one to me but to be honest may as well not be a branch as most of the cashier desks taken away in latest refit and now there is only 2 cashier desks and every time i have been there has only been 1 person on there! The other always has screen shutter down. There are 4 electronic points for paying in notes and cheques and other things you could do with online banking basically. But nothing for paying in coins so have to queue and there is always a big queue for cashier desk as only 1 member of staff there! Total disgrace!

Waiting in the queue to cash some money, there are automated tills but only one human cashier. The blinds for the human cashier are shut, cashing up maybe. The four staff standing round directing people to the automated tills look important and are polite but don't seem to do anything. Most frustrating.

Bank is in the Pedestrian Precinct next to Tesco Extra Supermarket. Public toilets directly opposite next to Costa Coffee shop. Public toilets wheelchair friendly and very clean.
Car parking available under Tesco Supermarket with both lifts and moving staircase.
Normal Banking hours apply.

When a loved one dies a bank should be caring, pastoral and sensitive to next of kin. These folk like a bull in a china shop. They do not respond to calls and fail when compared to our treatment as bereaved family that we got from the Halifax or Barclays. They need training ASAP.

Waited over 15 minutes to be served as there was only one teller working with a large queue forming behind me. Three other RBS staff sat talking & actually laughing on the seats at the back. When I asked them if anyone else could help me all I got was an abrasive "No"!! This is why I am closing my account with them, yes lots of hassle doing this but I can't continue with this bad customer service.

Work of the operating system, installation of programs, and even the ordinary act of connecting a disk, USB drive or smartphone to the computer will create new files that might overwrite the deleted data - and thus make the recovery process impossible. The best solution would be to shut down the computer of power off your phone and outline an action plan. If turning off the device is impossible, try to use it as little as possible.
Make up a list of devices where the necessary files have been saved.
Try to remember the chain of events from creating the files to deleting them.
