Brilliant place to buy a computer/laptop, staff listen to what you want/need and find the best product to suit, thank goodness I didn't have to spend an hour in a PC shop trying to get away from the salesman, no salesman in Quest Computers - no upselling, a great way to buy a laptop. I'm so pleased with my recent purchase, Quest also supplied my business with computers too a year ago, thanks again for great service and prices.

The worst post office I have ever used.
There not a real post office. Poor service , poor staff.
Dropped off some pre paid parcels, ask for a receipt and got told they don't make money so there get round to them later.
Think the staff need to read the Royal Mail post office guide. Pre paid parcels that are being sent signed for must be Scanned upon receipt and a paper receipt as proof of drop off provided.
Will never use this post office again.

Also, fresh pizza and cake at good prices, and also a games room at the back of the premises with Pool, Snooker, Fishing and Table Tennis availabe, again, all at a good price. Sports exuipment for hire too, wow. footnote. Being an ex politician, i get bored, so i tour around communities evaluating and improving everything in my path, as I used to when I was PM. This post office can be hit and miss. Sometimes you can walk in and get served almost straight away other times you have to queue some staff can be friendly others not. Some staff bring their children to work with them which is innapropuate especially if the mother is talking to the child whilst it's walking round the shop and she's behind the counter. Children shouldn't be hidden in a shop all day long on a school holiday. They should be out playing. But a lot of places do this so it's not uncommon just not professional. I've never had a problem with deliveries or packages I've sent so overall happy.

Will never use again, aways rude and just don't care (the guys that work there, NOT the woman) chewing with their months open and drinking. Hay, try doing your shirt all the way up, no one wants to see your hair sticking out with you chains showing. Things have gone miss and now sent something 1st class signed and tracked and it turned up broken... Thanks.

I don't know what people are expecting really, it's just a place where they can collect their parcels, all others I have visited in my life have been in equally tricky to get into places for vehicles and always have a very small inside so you do have to queue outside always as well. It's just how it is. The staff are always really nice and helpful, I have to visit a lot and have no problem in doing so. People saying they're open short hours.... they are open every day at least and open quite early, even I can quickly nip in before I head to work!

We keep getting missed delivery cards left when we are in. Happens over and over again. Complained many times and it still happens. We are in a flat and it’s as if they can’t be bothered to come in. Our post box is outside and I guess it’s easier to leave a card instead of using the intercom. Annoyingly we have a separate front door so they done even have to come in the building!

I have never been a particular fan of banks but a recent interaction with the staff at Santander in Portsmouth has changed that for me. We had a meeting with Ann initially to discuss our finances and she was amazing. Ann had already analysed our spending habits and was able to give us information on many different approaches to save us money. She was amazingly easy to talk to, knowledgeable, gave information and did not “sell” products and we really enjoyed our meeting with her. Ann then recommended Tracey, the in-house mortgage advisor to us and Tracey was very good, also friendly and knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to help us. Both these staff members were a pleasure to deal with and we can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making a potentially painful process a pleasure.

Santander Portsmouth refused to print a statement for my friend who has banked with them for over 30 years. A few minutes earlier Halifax Portsmouth had gladly printed my friend a statement - such a difference in customer service. Santanders' reason? It 'takes too much time' to help a customer. They were the only person in the bank queue at the time!

Having tried the automatic money rejecting machine I then waited 10 minutes while an elderly confused gentleman was served pointing out the only one till open was unacceptable a lady did come out with a notepad no use to me as I wanted to deposit money she then patronized me in a condescending manner informing me they only had one cashier working in all branches👎👎👎
I pointed out Barclays do a damn sight better in fact I left and went there and was served and out in under 30 seconds👍👍👍
As a result of a formal complaint Halifax contacted me and listened to my experience in branch and have assured me they will take the matter further and hopefully service will improve.

Lady at the till was rude and uptight whilst speaking to me as I was requesting a transfer of money to get a car. She started using lingo I’d never heard before and was annoyed when I didn’t understand what she was saying. Another lady working at the help and advice was very good as she greeted us as we walked in and was generally a good worker.

Just deposited some money into my account, the elderly lady with glasses who served me could not have been anymore condescending! Asking how I made the money I was depositing, as if I'd just robbed a pensioner. Saying that the notes were old looking but continued to process them anyways! Disgusting and ageist attitude! I went to this HSBC branch (Commercial road, Portsmouth). Two women who were behind cash counters were so unhelpful to the poor guy who seems like he was a foreign student at portsmouth uni. The lady keep on tellhing him to call telephone banking rather than being helpful. Staff name CLAUDIA(sitting on left) and an old lady(with glasses) who was sitting on right cash counter, sadly I couldn't read her name badge.
Willingness to help (genunie willingness) is lacking at this bank. I'm on the verge of closing my business account with HSBC as they have closed three branches in portsmouth making it difficult to go to this branch everyday as its very costly to go there everyday and pay for parking and wasting your time to drive in and out of the town.
Go with Lloyds, Natwest or Santander for your business banking as their customer service is Excellent. I have seen HSBC customer satisfaction has gone down the drain in recent years, well since 2014 it started going down the drain.

Went to pick up a replacement card after receiving a text to say it had been delivered to store. I arrived at 5:15pm assuming I’d be able to collect my card as the store was open until 6pm, only to be told no one could get my card out of the safe! Why advertise that your branch is open until 6pm if no one can get a card out of the safe at 5:15pm!! Wasted trip and now have to wait till Saturday to collect the card as I work 9 till 5 Monday to Friday!

The majority of the time I would say this is a useful and help branch in which I do my banking. Although today it was just not and the person serving me was just rude. Whilst I understand there is a deposit limit of 10cash bags per day. There is nothing to say that this is per account etc. Whilst this I kind of understand is to try and help with queuing and the amount of cash in the bank. In a nearly empty bank with no extra cue I was told I couldn't deposit the remaining few coins I had and that I was going to have to come back. Generally I have no issues with this but when completely ignored and blanked when asking a question by the representative this was a little annoying. A bank that won't take money, and rude staff not the kind of place I want to hold on to my money

i went there to open a bank account last year, and the customer service was very helpful. i can open my account immediately, though the ATM card arrived two weeks later. The cashier lady also very kind, she showed me how to put in deposit on the ATM machine (these days everyone supposed to be familiar with those automatic deposit machine, yet she still showed me happily).

I visited this branch on the 12th of September 2015 in order to open a new account where I was served by one of the lady staff with two others, a bloke and another lady, on the side watching and gossiping in a very unprofessional way. Interesting enough, those people were gossiping in the same place half an hour ago when I popped in for a quick query about the bank address and when I got back there later on I was surprisingly told that they were too busy right now so I needed to come back next week to do my business as they are currently short of manpower and very busy. I personally didn't think that they were busy enough to tell me that, it can be clearly seen if they were working, or at least should have given me more advise or suggestions. It seemed like the staff were too hurried to push the customer away so that they can resume the gossip again. I was quite shocked to see such unprofessional manners in a huge establishment like this.
