Called in on Sunday 09/06/19 for a screen protector for my new iPhone XR.
I opted for the £10 glass full screen and was not disappointed. The young lady was very helpful and carried out professional fitting of the screen protector before my very eyes to a very high standard and the result is perfect.
The care and attention to detail was second to none, a first class service I am over the moon with my purchase.

Brilliant Service - called and asked for information on repairs to my mobile. - asked if I could have the repair carried out while I waited - they saved me the extra cost by not having to replace the back panel on the phone ; just had the battery replaced - carried out the repair while I waited - completely satisfied.

Really happy with the service of this shop. Took in an IPhone 6S with a broken screen. Within 1hour it had been fitted with a genuine new screen.

Brilliant!! Went knowing battery need replacing and that my charge port could be faulty too. Technician said only the battery needed replacing and that the port was fine. He could have bumped up his sales and said both needed replacing. Very honest shop and great price too.

Need to change your opening hours. It says the post office is open till 8pm on a Sunday (online) but is actually the Londis opening hours. I've just wasted time and fuel for this mistake! Very unhappy!

Rejected my prepaid letters and made me wait outside in the snow till the Royal Mail Collection came. Waited outsid for 50mins with 2 bags.
Appalled by the service and will recommend you avoid the postoffice. Theres another post office further up that takes prepaid letters without problems and friendly.

I recieved amazing service today from Nabs at the self serve counters. She was extremely patient and helpful with helping me figure out the best way to get a parcel to Canada even though the local Canada postal service is on strike. She took the time to go over the cost options with me and looked after my parcel while I went outside to get reception to get an additional address. Her service really made my day. Thank you.
I loved that there were 4 self serve counters as well as many people working at the desks. Made for zero wait which I find is rare at post offices.

It use to be a good post office until the owners changed. I asked for a service to send some crystal glasses which would cover them for loss or breakage. A service was offered which I accepted but the crystal glasses arrived mostly broken. I put a claim in to be advised the crystal glasses were not covered for breakage. The post office refunded the service back but I lost over £100. So I now go elsewhere due to incompetence

SO rude & cold/unwelcoming since there has been a change of owners. No eye contact, no hello, minimal communication & arrogant in their approach to customers. It is really unbelievable. Also if you pay with cash you don't get given a receipt, for some reason?! Dodgy and illegal, HMRC should be alerted.

Visited today for the first time. I wanted to change some details re the status of my car. I was unsure of what was required. The member of staff who dealt with me could not have been more helpful. He put me at ease and made sure that everything was done correctly. I was very impressed with his knowledge and all round customer service skills. Whilst in the building I had a look at the general store side of the buiness. Everywhere was very clean and the store was well stocked with reasonably priced items

The post office is only about one third of the premises. It is within the Select Off licence and general store.The place is clean well stocked and reasonably priced. I regularly visit the post office part to post parcels. There is usually never much of a queue. The staff are great nothing is too much trouble. One of the staff members went out of her way to help me today. Her advice resulted in me saving a large sum of money on postage. I remain a committed customer

My wife had to renew her driving license and she wanted to get the application checked over and get a postal order. The gentleman who served her Pradeep was extremely helpful and couldn't fault the service in any way shape or form. Went to WHSmith yesterday and they did not know how to communicate with one another and made me wait over half an hour only to be told that I needed to complete a form and send it off! Thank you Pradeep for the amazing service!

Can’t use this Post office any more! A couple of years ago the staff were very friendly & helpful always with a smile & a hello. Now no interaction from staff ! & also due to changes in the post office sticking extra shelving everywhere with nothing worth selling ! & myself having mobility issues & having to use equipment I am annoyed that no one has reported them under the DDA as it is totally not disability/ accessible around the inside & means I can no longer use it !!!! When u think that there are many elderly/ disabled people in the area & other post offices not local makes me so angry having to rely on others to do the jobs I would be able to do myself if I could travel to other more considerate premises

An effort at customer service would've been nice. No smiles, no "hello". I felt like I was being irritating to staff just for being there. My 3 year old summed it up perfectly when we walked out saying to me, "she wasn't a very nice lady was she mummy?"
I won't be going back there. Only giving it 2 stars because I got a parking space outside and there wasn't a long queue.

Mixed feelings. My biggest letdown is that sometimes they close earlier than they say. Once, i called them and they told me that tbey would close at 5:30pm and had plenty of time, only to get there at 4:30 and have me rush over as they are closing the store earlier. Furthermore yes, they do charge the highest price most of the times. I specifically asked for a simple sending and they charged me for first class.

They always try to charge highest price. When I come there I feel like worst person in the world. How dare I come and ask to send my parcels. Lady wanted to send my item as parcel even it did go through large letter hole. Started to scare me that other end will need to pay extra for postage. After explaining her that item fits large letter hole she started asking about item values just to charge me more. I started going to another post office only choosing this when not having enough time. But after today I will keep away from this place.

I use this post office a lot and I have never once experienced any negative responses or attitude from the staff as stated in some of these reviews. I find them to be lovely people and polite, always greet me respectfully and always have a chat and jokes if it's quiet. The service is spot on. Maybe you get what you give.

From what I know, you can send parcels up to five kilograms. My parcel was equal to five kilos and the idiot working there told me to go to the headquarters, because she was too heavy.

Very rude - arrived one evening at 5.54pm to drop off a small parcel for something I sold on eBay, and the postage had a posting deadline on it. I had to wait a few minutes for the guy to arrive, and be told they close at 6pm. “But it’s 2 minutes to 6?” I said “well it’s closed” he tells me very irritably... go back next morning at 8.10am, see the guy again outside and he tells me they open at 8.15am. “Ok, but it says 8am on Google?” I reply “well it says 8.15am clearly on the door here” he says back, then adds”you can use another post office”. This confuses me as why would I go out my way to use another post office when I have one over the road? But maybe he’s right because then I wouldn’t have to deal with the guy that when I finally get to hand over my parcel just says “Give it here” in a tone that sound more like “Give it here a*****e” while looking like he wants me to drop dead. Next time I’ll jump on the bike or car and head to the other post office down the road...

No parking spaces, it's somewhat therapeutic to watch cars circling round and around whilst you stand waiting for 10 minutes in the rain. I collected my parcel at 2PM on a weekday yet the queue was out of the door, staff weren't particularly cheery, despite it being Christmas season there were no signs of happiness anywhere. It's a poorly planned building that is the main collection point for the entirety of Leicester. Bonkers.

The service is ridiculous. I asked to send out two tracked letters. She has not asked if I need insurance and etc. on these letters, just posted it in the most expensive way - £6.60 for a letter. I have not even asked her for the most expensive postage, the one for £1.90 would have been good. Maybe next time do your job and ask how I would like to send it out as other post offices do?

Worst Post Office I've EVER used. They just don't want to serve you !! If you queue at the main Post Office desk they try to fob you off to the smaller out of hours till at the front of the store ... and vice versa !! And they are so incompetent. Took my letter and didn't even bother to look where they were placing the stamp. Stuck it over the effing address in the centre of the envelope !! I mean come on :/

Absolutely disgusting customer service and attitude of the staff.
I hardly use a post office and I specifically requested '1st class signed for' service for a letter I had to post, but they used their typical mumbo jumbo and confused me into paying £7.20 for a special delivery.
I didn't even know this was the case until someone pointed it out to me. I just thought that's how much a 1st class signed for service costs.
Totally unacceptable to overcharge unsuspecting and vulnerable customers.

Despite reviews Shafe is the only polite one in the post office every female worker I have encountered is absolutely rude and unprofessional. Do they just hire anyone here and do not check they can actually communicate and work with people. A place off horrible workers, sick to death of their own miserable lives; taking it out on vulnerable adults.
'Kiran' - has no idea how to do her job, and severely upset my gf who has significant anxiety issues and relies of this post office to complete postage for her business.
'Shaf' - a sick, sick man. Power hungry individual, who makes jokes at your expense, and who laughs at your misfortune.
When asked if I could pick up my £300 click & collect parcel, was told my Dad would have to pick it up, as it was in his name (despite the fact I am carrying all forms of ID and all transaction codes I was told I would need. Then when I explain the issues at hand - my father is in hospital, following a severe OD - Shaf laughs at my misfortune, only to tell me he will hold on to MY parcel until Nov 10th - for no lawful reason - before sending it back to the manufacturer for re-delivery.
Then when i ask for a tele/textphone line in order to make a complaint, he gives me a fake number, and laughs me out of the building.
I have since found out it is impossible to make a complaint against any post office at all, for no bloody good reason.
I want Shaf fired, I want this post office shutdown; but above all else, I want what is rightfully & legally mine.
See you in court.

Wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone! Staff are rude and talks on his phone when serving customers or talks to other customers when their stood at the back of the store and blanks you when your stood waiting for him to serve you. Gets attitude with you when you want to pay your bills and sells moldy food and when you go in to get your money back they don’t want to give you the money back. Dirty,untidy shop!!!

Would agree with previous reviews about this Post Office. Almost every time I need to send parcel I always get grief about how it’s packaged “oh you put too much tape” or “why did you buy postage online”. It’s actually cheaper to pre buy postage.
The younger brother tends to be more friendly then the older one how has always been horrible to me.

The worst post office ever.They lost my parcel I had redirected there and wouldn't help.They ignore their costumers and are totally incompetent. They also make it inaccessible to disable people and people with buggies because they always have one of the doors on the latches so you only have a teeny narrow door to get through.I would have thought this was not allowed and is disability discrimination.They also NEVER come to help with the door if they see you struggling and make you mess around with the latches yourself .I avoid it if at all possible.

Worst bank ever, avoid at all costs. Applied for a credit card and it was rejected. Had "dispute" option so I used that and explained the situation. Got a reply a few days later basically saying "sorry this is what the computer told us"... What was the point of the review option if nobody bothered to check what I wrote in and just sent me this standard BS reply? Went into branch and talked to someone about this. Explained that my wife has less direct debits (paid on time everything every month) than me and has been with HSBC for less time and they still approved her credit card - clerk basically told me he's sorry and I can leave if I want which I will do ASAP. Really poor customer experience and service received over my two years with them (didn't change my address when requested, bad info received from other branch, etc...)
AVOID this bank if you don't like headaches!!!

Could complain about number of staff being low but the ones that are there are all very helpful and friendly. The waiting time in the queue for personal banking is the reason I have given 4 stars. All other services are great.

The queue is very long and there is only 1 person at the desk . Also the staff are very rude they keep on chatting and they don’t serve anyone . When it was my turn they said come tomorrow.

The queue times are something that you are all too used to when banking with Santander. For quicker service, consider going to the alternative Santander near the market. Much less busy.

2 Stars at a push! 'Short stay' parking is all but non-existent first of all and hardly any branches in Leicester. I'm 'old school' and like face-to-face communication NOT Internet Banking!!!!!
Only 1-2 persons only ever serving! I've been with this Bank for a Generation and Boy have times changed.
I see a lot of staff too wondering around making Cups Of Tea when they should make Customers THEIR PRIORITY!!!!!

Quite shocked to be honest. I went down here to open a new account as some of the online facilities still don't work from the recent meltdown.
I called initially to make an appointment but this branch called back as they had made a mistake with the time.
I went to the branch the day before the appointment to try to rearrange however the staff seemed incapable of using their own diary systems.
My eventual appointment was with someone called Gurdeep - an obviously immature, slow minded, inexperienced customer service advisor who only seemed capable of giggling..
It goes without saying that I have joined another bank, there is such a thing as 'reasonable' standards in life.

Thoroughly disorganised. We have been trying to open a joint bank account. After going in, making an appointment and being told that we'll be able to sort it all out in one appointment we were told we couldn't when we arrived at our appointment.
I wish for the staff to perhaps have a little understanding of their own processes and procedures before handing out advice and annoying people to the point where they no longer chose bank with them.
Smiley and friendly enough, but that's as far as it goes.

Lovely building and very helpful staff. I was seen by the bank manager Adam Jacques and he was incredibly helpful. I had a very unusual problem I needed help with and he went over and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. It wasn't easy, he had to ring 3 different people to get advice, but he did it all to make sure he could help me out, and I really appreciate this. It makes me feel good knowing that this branch is looked after by such a great leader.

Worst experience ever as the young woman was asked a question and answered very rudely and then turned to her co worker and made fun of my friend and laughed and mimicked her. Would not recommend this place unless your happy to receive poor customer service. Very appalling and very unsatisfied.😡

The manager is a very rude person. Tried to resolve an issue with my bank account, but received no help what so ever from the manager and he was being petty and rude and making statements out of anger. Should definitely be retrained on how to do his job. With that being said, the rest of staff was approachable and very helpful.

Extremally slow service. Only one stand with information for the customers.
We wanted to open joined account after we got married, it is not possible to do this on Saturday. It was not even possible for my wife to change surname on Saturday.
Both having accounts in Barclays, we have to take day off to do simple change on the account and to open a new one. Strongly do not recommend.

After being to the coventry branch who failed to send off my paperwork, leaving me utterly dissatisfied and upset, I went to the leicester branch. First time user of halifax for their products and services. This branch was organized and everyone came across professional and competent, which was the complete opposite of what I experienced in coventry. I asked for the manager in branch to personally thank him for running an efficient and helpful branch. The wait time was minimal and the colleagues all communicated well with one another and got more colleagues to help the customers, when a queue was forming (the smallest queue i have ever been in a bank before, 2 people before me and 1 after me! Waited max 4 mins, whereas in coventry minimum 20-30mins (1 customer before me) and the queue was leading from desk to the entrance door, the staff were disinterested, not sufficiently trained- of the 2 cashiers, 1 cashier was trying to process something but required the 2nd cashier's assistance and not even aware of the queue until customer in queue asked if there was anyone to help). They understood I had a delay due to the other branch and got my documents uploaded through their portal on the spot. Great sevice and completely changed my bad experience to a positive one and restored my faith in halifax.

I had been in to the branch in May this year to change my name over after marriage, I had to take time off work to do this, there was a very long queue, so had to wait over an hour! Only to find that come September when we were due to exchange contracts that they hadn't changed my name over! Which has meant me having to yet again visit the branch yet more time off work! To be told it could take 5-7 more working day's to change? Speaking to anyone on the phone is a waste of time the only advice they give you is to go into branch! Incompetent staff hopefully they will now change it over! Dissapointing and frustrating service all round

Whenever I come in there is always a ridiculously long queue at the booths. I have been queuing for over 15 minutes, and not even all the booths are open. Why not open more booths when there is a queue of over a dozen people? This is a terrible branch, do not waste your time coming here.

- Low quality of customer service, because they are not friendly and helpful at all
- low skilled management which is providing wrong data about the product
- more than 30 minutes in the queue and only one window opened
- nobody want to help with application for bank account where customer’s data are changed by website after submission, how is it possible?!
