What a brilliant service that delivers exactly what it promises pleasantly and efficiently. My iphone 6 screen got broken and they fixed it in the time it took me to have a coffee, no mailing it to someone in the middle of nowhere and waiting weeks to get it back!!!

The guy here is brilliant, on separate occasions he has fixed my laptop screen and cleaned the fan on my laptop. He always completes the job really quickly (same day repair) for reasonable cost. He obviously loves what he does and last time he even cleared some viruses off my computer despite me only taking it in for a fan clean! He's really good, will always be the first guy I go to for tech repairs.

Not even worth one star.After what I have been though with them this last week after getting bullguard internet security.To which a code was printed on a A4 paper when I tried to down load it it kept coming up error.The lady in the shop said she could not let me have my money back as she did not have the code to do a refund on my card.And when I went back again she said
that bullguard had said it had been down loaded which in my eyes makes it look like I was telling a lie.But after talking to some one else they said they had the same trouble with them.

Not a great company.. I dropped off my computer over two weeks ago and all he seemed interested in telling me was how people owed him money not really my problem.. I just wanted a computer fixed.. At first he said he was not interested in fixing my computer and then when I went to leave he said he would have a look and said he would call me in a week..
I received no call so my wife collected the computer two weeks later only to be told he was going to scrap it and that I apparently had no interest in paying for the fix ??? Not sure how I would not be interested in paying for the repair if I did not know how much the repair was?? I can not believe he was about to throw away my computer without my permission outrageous.... I dont know how this man stays in business I also run a successful business and would never treat our customer like this I think he needs to polish up his customer skills what a terrible company..Being a small business you would think he would treat his customers better.Why waste peoples time if you have no interest in fixing their computers I will never go back again or recommend..

The length of time to order a hard drive was something like 30 mins and needed 3 people to operate the till.
When I went back to collect my order it took them another 30 mins of back and forth from the desk to the warehouse over where my order had gone.
As I was using gift cards I tolerated it but for regular purchases I'll be going elsewhere.

Cancelled an insurance package ages ago, been told everything is sorted and shouldn’t worry about a thing. Checked the account and the direct debit still was taken from the account. Made a phone call to request money back and been told they can’t do it, apparently it’s my fault, should’ve double checked their actions. As a result all payments made are not refundable! Even if I requested it to be cancelled, but they made a mistake and no one made any cancellation. No responsibility taken for their errors. Be aware!!!

As usual Curry's store staff pushy and arrogant at times. Argumentive with me regarding a PC I was wanting to purchase then for them to come back and tell me I was correct. Then tried to force set up and warranty at extra costs without informing me. Took me to the till noticed the increase, he told me it was a mandatory set up. Cancelled the sale and told the manager wasn't in to make a complaint to.
If this is the way they treat customers then I can see why they were empty? Only a few staff milling around.
One of the worst shipping experiences I'll not be going there again. I'll buy online from a reputable dealer with decent customer service.
I'm not one to complain because it doesn't usually get things changed but I've seen this happen to friends and colleagues who have had warranty and set up costs added to laptop and PC sales without informing them especially when put on credit agreements. Is this the new ppi? They need to be very careful and not add things without informing the customer!

But they're overpriced, understocked and it's 50:50 wether you'll be pressured like a second hand car salesman, or completely ignored (usually the one time you do want to ask a question).

Smashing place. Newly refurbished done very tastefully. We were visiting Newark for the day and we got invited for a free lunch for their 'soft opening'. Marvellous ! We would thoroughly recommend giving this place a try. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Not much we can say that isn't positive apart from there was no soap in the dispenser in the loo but hey they still had the painters in !

A pleasant enough pub within Newark centre. A large menu which will cater for most tastes. There are often meal deal offers on ( pint and a curry for £7 or so ).

This post office is located amongst a large range of card and gift options with a Thornton's, Hallmark and Yankee candle shop which makes it a convenient place to sort a last minute gift. The post office itself though often has very long queues and the service is very inconsistent.

I usually go out of my way to avoid the place!
Mostly rude, ignorant and indifferent staff at both the post office counter, bureau de change and shop counters. They are quite happy to overcharge for packages, and treat you with contempt if you question them.
One lady is very pleasant and helpful, but will quite happily chat for long periods of time with friends even though there is a queue waiting.
The front door is automatic and will take 30 seconds to open halfway then stop, if you push it, a very angry looking woman will shout at you saying "ITS AUTOMATIC!"
Many post offices are closing and honestly this should be one of them. I always leave feeling angry, upset or just down right frustrated.
These people need a good kick in the pants, the behaviour is unacceptable!

Great local PO, efficient, helpful and friendly staff (and saves driving in to Newark). Cal and the other ladies do a fantastic job. We drop off a bag of packages every other day using the 'drop and go' service. The items are processed normally straight away. Be grateful that a local post office still exists in your area.

I've visited on 3 occasions, 2 of which the Asian lady behind the post office counter was rude and unhelpful. On the first occasion I approached the counter with a large parcel which even though she wasn't inside the Post Office room yet she refused to take off me, all accompanied by a snarky remark. On the second occasion I asked for recorded delivery on a letter, to which I was told "we don't do recorded delivery and we never have done". Yes you do, it's a common name for "signed for" - you're just being pedantic and petty to compensate for whatever is wrong in your life. Get over yourself, you work in a Post Office.
My advice to other customers is to go elsewhere.

Won't bother again, tried to buy a pack of chewing gum on my card, didn't know there was a £3 limit. Instead he set up the card machine to pay, after I'd paid he then told me he gets charged 50p for anything under £3 and he was just giving it away. I apologised and he just chucked the gum at me.
Now if I'd been told POLITELY that there was a limit I would've happily picked up extra things to meet that limit. But after this experience I'm going to walk another 2 minutes up the road to co-op from now on. Not worth me getting upset over it.

Avoid this branch!!!! It seems that parcels keep disappearing here. Whenever I use this branch they manage to loose whatever I am sending, then takes me ages to get refund from the company. It seems that they don't have any space, very cramped, all parcels are just put together in no apparent order, just a mess. At least for parcel services, please save your time and avoid.

Avoid this Post Office.... the man who runs it is very rude and has no manners, nor patience.
Tried to charge me for a service he had not completed and when I stood my ground and challenged him, he decided to keep my personnal paperwork, until I had paid! After his wife had stepped in, and told him to calm down, as he had reverted to shouting at me, he throw all my documents at me, over the counter, and onto the floor. Not sure how he manages to keep the business open, judging by his complete lack of people skills.

I have a business account with this bank. Generally Santander is ok but the most of the staff at the Newark branch have no customer care skills. They prefer to sit comfortably on the chairs behind the counter rather than helping their customers. If you have a local business, you have no chance for any attention... They arrogantly expect you just to use the cash machine on the premises which always jams or is out of paper. So sad they can get away with it when a lot of little local businesses really understand what customer care means and they do not have the comfort of big cheques being paid in their accounts for doing nothing!

Purely for the parking, I don't carry change around with me so if I turned up without change, I'd have to either park somewhere else or leave the car there while I went to a cash machine, got money out, went to a shop, broke the note then went back down to the car park to put a pound in the machine. All because they won't do a contactless payment. Excellent way of discouraging custom!

reduced opening hours including 10am start on a Saturday morning.
Lack of staff on tills so long queues and cashpoints seem not to work all the time and when they do they only have twenty pound notes in.
Also there are some Barclay's only cashpoints which mean even though they are members of the link network anybody who hasn't got a Barclay's account can't use them.
Coupled with the fact the system always seems to be down when I go in makes me wonder how are they still in business.

Extremely poor customer service, only one counter open and woe betide you if you try and use it. Other banks have new machines and actively encourage you to use them, but if you want you can still use the counter. This branch is different, counter staff ridicule you and are rude should you try. Making you feel like a naughty school child. Bank somewhere else if you want to be treated with the respect a customer deserves.

For business banking they are way more expensive than some other business banks as they charge 35-70p per transaction and direct debit and cheque plus a monthly fee on top. The Newark branch always has a queue in it. Therefore I chose to stick with my current bank in the end due to the above two reasons.

No offer to just grab the travel money for me and had to Queue up for a further 10 minutes. Awful service, 5 minute visit turned into 20 minutes.

Terrible bank - will move to another. Since the new machines were installed, they go wrong constantly. Very few staff available to help. You end up having to then go to the desk (double queuing!) and they can't print receipts for credits! Infuriating as machines go wrong every time I use them!! Stop using the device where you used to keep the deleted data.
Work of the operating system, installation of programs, and even the ordinary act of connecting a disk, USB drive or smartphone to the computer will create new files that might overwrite the deleted data - and thus make the recovery process impossible. The best solution would be to shut down the computer of power off your phone and outline an action plan. If turning off the device is impossible, try to use it as little as possible.
Make up a list of devices where the necessary files have been saved.
Try to remember the chain of events from creating the files to deleting them.
