A truly professional and honest service. I paid exactly what i was quoted, no hidden charges just genuine advice and choices. I would definitely recommend this company. I use my laptop for business purposes as a builder and dropped it down a flight of stairs at work , I thought it was beyond repair. I was about to buy a new one and popped into Fone Cube on Chillingham Rd to pay for my daughters phone repair and they recommended Danntec. I rang them up and arranged to drop it in for them to look at.... I had it back within four days working faster and better then when i first bought it. Excellent service and i really appreciate it guys. Many thanks.

Had to repair the camera lenses on my iPhone X and they seemed to offer a very good price so thought I’d give them a go. Went here on the recommendation of a friend who had a great experience here, and I also had a really good experience too. The staff did an amazing job of fixing my IPhone X. Told by the other shops that my iPhone was not repairable due to water damage but they fixed it like new. Really reasonable prices too. They put the screen protector as well without any extra charge. Would give more stars if I could. Totally Recommended.

Great iPhone Repair shop and wonderful service! Cheaper than others and super quick. My son’s iPhone 7 screen and My iPhone 7 Plus screen and battery were replaced in 20 minutes while we were waiting in store. Professional staff and very helpful in providing information to look after our iPhone and helping us select cases for the iPhone. I don't think I'd go anywhere else in town to fix my iPhone , highly recommend :)

Brought my laptop in with it saying if I started it up the cooling fan is not working and I may lose work on it , the guy was really helpful it was fixed the next day and a very reasonable price and I have also been given advice to help speed it up so happy with the service I got would 100% recommend.

I have no idea which newsagents the previous reviewer visited but the only local post office connected to a newsagents is at Brunton Park. This is at the back of a cafe and delicatessen. I wonder if he's got them mixed up, I hope not as the other post office is great too.
Grange Park Post Office is one of the best in Gosforth. Staff are brilliant, go over the top to be helpful and nothing is too much of a bother. There's usually parking outside and the post box has a collection after 5pm which is a bit of novelty now as most are 9am these days.

I really like the staff. The manager and his family are really nice. Always obliging and customer-friendly. It beats the pants off any other post office I've used.
He also sells some really nice foods, biscuits, cakes etc that are special and a cut above those you find in supermarkets
You can even relax with a tea or coffee etc and read the morning papers!

Impatient staff. Lights off- semi darkness the minute it is closing time (unsafe). Man in glasses closing up the store was super unfriendly. He did not reply or smile or look up when I thanked him and said goodbye. He slammed the door shut behind me. Watch out- my advice is not to go in the last 30 minutes before closing time.

The younger lady who works here is wonderful, polite friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the older blonde lady with glasses typifies everything that is bad about poor customer service. She is rude and disrespectful, unhelpful and condescending. The shop and post office are being let down by her terrible attitude and incompetence. This has been endured on many occasions and it is not good enough. Go elsewhere if you value whatever it is you are posting.

I never go to the card and lottery counter I always stand in cue in the past because I only wanted one stamp I was told to go in the cue and wait so i did. Time after that I stood in cue went to main counter and a lovely blonde women said next if u only want a stamp go to the lottery counter .May I point out I walk with a stick as i have a disability . So today I did that and the staff were horrible and I was called a liar as they said I wouldn't have been told to go straight to card counter .I wouldn't have done it other wise and was def told to do so and was told to go in the cue . In future I will be avoiding this post office. Left feeling really upset as i wasn't rude to them .

Never in my life have I ever met such miserable rude women! Went into the post office at the Tuesday 11th September (today) to put my electric on baring in mind this review doesn’t just go on today’s experience, there was one women with glasses another behind the glass, both with faces like smacked backsides very blunt and basically threw my electric key back at me I’m 27 year old and have respect for my elders but respect is earned!!! Not given, and when your stood in the que for about half an hour whilst they have a full length conversation with each other laughing away when there’s elderly people stood there with walking problems!! Stood in the queue last week 20 deep for about 5 mins, it never moved so I drove round to westerhope post office and got straight in, find the staff pleasant though, but I don't like being asked if I have house/car or life insurance in earshot of other customers, if I want it, I'll ask.

I've used this post office for a number of years, because it's convenient and I need to send parcels. Unfortunately the post office counter staff I've experienced are so unfriendly. Yes, they deliver a professional service, but you get the impression that they hate their job, and that you're an inconvenience to them. I try to be jolly and friendly but it's like pulling teeth. It's a shame, because the staff on the newsagents counter (& the other postal counter) are quite the opposite.

I have used this Post Office a lot over the past 3 years, but time and time again, the female employee that works here with glasses and very short hair is so, so rude! Many times she has communicated in a very impolite manner, which is inexcusable given her role within the customer service industry. She's also unhelpful and carries a miserable attitude. It is a shame as the majority of staff are nice (although I have encountered similar issues regarding being overcharged), especially the other female member of staff with glasses and a fringe, but this employee lets the establishment down. For this reason I will be AVOIDING this Post Office from now on as she makes my visits so uncomfortable, and instead I will be using the WHSmith Post Office, as well as submitting a formal complaint. A massive shame.

I would like to make second complaint about one of your Post Office (Benwell Grove Post Office, 19 West Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 8AA).
This is the second time I make a complaint against your staff in this Post Office, there is someone called Ali in this Post Office I have mentioned above. Today I have been in that Post Office after long time to send urgently parcels , of course I have avoided this member of staff (Ali) and I stayed in the queue for about 10 mintues to be served by the other lady next to him. Ali started to speak to that lady because he felt that I avoided him, while I was waiting for the lady to scan and print the recipts for the parcels (eBay Prepaid Parcels for my business), Ali started to shout loudly "Chimpanzee", "Chimpanzee", "Chimpanzee", I kept silent. Unfortunately I have been waiting for lady to scan the last parcel, it was small parcel 1s class signed for, she said to me " you have put 200g the weight and in the scale is 260g, you have got it wrong", however the allowed weight for small parcel is up to 2KG, I said have a look at the Royal Mail website the allowed weight for small parcel is 2KG, so it doesn't matter if I put 200g or 260g because I am not put over the limited weight. I have waited 15 mintues for her to print the receipt. I dropped my parcels in that Post Office but I am not sure they safely go to their destinations or not.
Obviously this discrimnation and racist, I would like to make a complaint againstthe member of staff in this Post office, you must not tolerate such behaviour, shouting in the public place like Post Office "Chimpanzee" for who? this question you must asked Ali about. Furthemore I don't torleate such bad behaviour and I am going to sue this member of staff in the court.
I have Online business on eBay, everyday I send more than 5 to 10 letters and parcels via Royal Mail, the nearest Post Office I can go to to drop these parcel is Benwell Grove Post Office, I have stopped to go to this post office for long time, I go to Newcastle city centre post office which is far from my shop and it cost me time and money to go to.
Additionally, such behaviour from this member of staff is not happened to me only, I have spoken to many friends about this Post Office they said Ali is rude and has very bad behaviour and they always aviod him.
I hope this time you can take this compaint seriously and take a propriate action against this staff and I am sure that a lot of your customers don't go to that Post Office because your members of staff.

Staff in Grey Street- Newcastle branch are not helpful at all they. They refused to open a bank account even though i provided them with the right documents, and they said the documents are not valid. I went to another branch and they opened bank account with the same documents. I just felt that they do not want to work, there should be a consistency between bank branches

I quickly needed to pop in to sort out an issue with my mortgage application. It was 16:45 so it was already cutting it fine. I was seen almost immediately after being approached and asked if I needed help upon entering the branch.
I was taken in to a side office and left within 5 minutes armed with the information I needed. Despite it being almost closing time the advisor rang whomever he needed to so he could help.

Employee who claims to be an advisor for ISAs is an utter cretin. Told me that it wasn't possible to open both a Help to Buy ISA and a Lifetime ISA. Also said that I would be breaching ISA limits for have the value of all my ISAs in excess of £20k. I pointed out to him that they had been paid into over a number of years, yet he was adamant that the allowance is total, rather than annual.
Annoyed me so much that I have transferred all my savings elsewhere and will be switching current accounts too.

I take back my previous 5 star review.
Although the branch is faultless, Lloyds will pass your information including phone number, name, address and SPECIFIC location data of your visits to their branches or ATMs to a 3rd party company for their own market research. They do not class this as a GDPR issue as they claim it is to benefit you.
So to repeat, your data will be passed from Lloyds systems to a 3rd party without your consent.
And to rub salt in to the wound, if you raise a complaint, they will pass all of your information and the complaint, to another 3rd party for research purposes. Their complaint form stipulates "what can we do to put this right?", however they will not action any of it. The arrogance of the letter i received was unbelievable.
It is also unbelievable the level of disdain this banks teams have for customers, and their complete lack of care with your data. Anonymized data i could live with, but location data and all of my personal details???
My switch away occurs in a few days. Absolutely shocking customer care. I've also made sure i move away entirely from this banking group.

Towards the end of January I was the victim of an Internet scam. The following day I went straight to Grey St HSBC and asked if they could prevent my money being taken out of my account and also cancel my debit card and issue me with a new one with a different number. The young man at the bank was very helpful and straight away cancelled my debit card and requested a replacement. The new card arrived just two days later which I was very pleased about as it was the fourth new card I had requested in a year! Although HSBC could not prevent the payment being made they quickly were able to get my money returned to me via my bank account. I was very pleased with the outcome. Credit were credit is due!

if I can give negative number of stars, I definitely will. The manager Mr Fraser Craig literally gave high fives and pat on the back to encourage front desk staff to be difficult to customers. I sent in a complaint, and waited for three months. HSBC countersue me and said I was the rude one and not giving service or explanation to customers is normal practice because they are busy from time to time.
Go to another bank, and any other bank in Newcastle will give you better service. Seriously. Waste of time

Went in Last Friday to pay in an old fashioned cheque - yes they still exist and are very handy. Tried to duck past the SS guards on duty as I could see a sign saying 'Counter Services' - no chance of that 1st SS guard says abruptly "what do you want", nothing like in the old days when they would say "can we help you today sir" !! Explained what I wanted, then chief guard tells me to use the machine over there, when I explained that I had no idea how to use the machine, gave me a look like I had just got off the boat. 2nd guard (nice american man) does the transaction for me, all star wars control panel stuff, but took 5 times longer to pay in cheque than getting counter clerk to do all the work. I am off to M&S Bank, you get a nice cup of coffee off them and normal / older professional bank staff work there.
