Some older films are great value and can be about £1 or £2 so definitely worth buying but newer ones are the same price as too pay new and go for £10 especially popular ones like infinity war. Its a trust worthy place to buy older phones and remotes and they always do lots of quality checks in each product. The queues are really bad however especially during Saturdays and holidays and them buying from you isn't worth doing it because you get hardly any money compare to selling it on eBay.

Unfortunately I have to walk past this shop every day and can't resist looking in the window i always get actracted to going inside to check out all their latest stock. My laptop died and I found Salop Computer Centre on my phones app. I rang the MAN and he said bring it along and I will look at it and fix it for you. He had it off me and found the hard drive had failed and needed replacing. Within four hours of taking it in I had a phone call telling me it was ready to collect and was all set to go. All I can say IS THANK YOU for your service and help you do not realise how much getting my computer back so fast meant to me. My wife also would like to say thank you as I am a pain in the *** when I do not have a computer to work with. Fast and good quality 11/10 max stars the lot. Trust me make sure this is the first place you visit as you will always return if or when you need another computer or another repair. Tony Durnell is pleased to recommend the Salop Computer Centre.

Went in with my laptop as the hinge on the one side had come loose and was in a pretty bad way, just wanted to get an opinion and was told that "it was a write-off" after looking at it for maybe 5 seconds at best and then the man proceeded to tell me it would cost 300-400 quid to have it fixed. He didn't seem interested in the slightest to help me or offer me any other advice. His attitude about the whole thing made me feel a bit stupid as he said the only way that could of happened to my laptop was "it was smashed against a wall or chucked from a great height".. hmmm no, the hinges had just come loose.
Anyway I go to get a second opinion in Telford and they fixed it for £25! Yes, 25 quid! After being told it was a write-off and that i'd need to spend 400 quid to get it fixed.
If you can't help fair enough but don't feed me a load of rubbish and false information trying to make me feel stupid for even thinking it can be fixed.

I visited Salop Computers with a laptop with a part detached lid and screen after it had accidentally taken a knock. The staff were friendly, competent and couldn't be more helpful. They sourced a second hand laptop for replacement parts, repaired it and had it ready for collection in 24 hours! Amazing service. Highly recommended.

Hi, We came into your Shrewsbury store at Meole Brace to visit Carphone Warehouse, inside Currys yesterday, Monday 1st April at around 5pm. We were looking for a new phone for my daughter, and to be fair, had been to a few other stores. The young man who served us, was extremely polite, quick to help us with a smile, very helpful and very knowledgeable, I think his name was Greg. We were in the store quite some time and would have liked to have had somewhere to sit as my other daughter had a baby. We will defiantly be back to purchase the phone at the weekend. The young man is certainly a credit to your company. I would like this review to be passed onto him, and head office if possible.

If you get the old boy you are out of luck, get ready for a rollercoaster ride of bad attitude,and general bad customer service.
Get ready to pay double what your parcel costs to send, even if your item fits through the large letter slot but the jiffy bag catches the side of the frame on it's way through, you'll be paying for a more expensive service, I send 100's of the same size same weight parcels a month, they cost me £2.50 signed for in any post office in the UK, including Sundorne... But get the old argumentative chap and you'll be paying £4.45
Rest of the post office isn't bad, but I have to review on customer experience and over all quality of service

Old man at counter moans at everything. Horrible customer service! he will be getting a formal complaint! Never have a problem unless he's there! What has happend to the amazing girls that where in there?? They would put a smile on customers faces! Whatever issues he has he needs to sort them. If you want to wait 8 minutes whilst the Post Office counter girl chats to the one customer they're serving, this is the place for you!
The customer also discovered in mid chat that she had forgotten her purse and went out to her car. In the several minutes whilst we waited in complete silence for the woman to return, there was no "sorry I'll be right with you" or attempt to look for a colleague to serve me. She just stood there shuffling a couple of envelopes around as if everyone had all the time in the world to waste.
Luckily I wasn't in a hurry to get back to work, otherwise I would have been tempted to mention something but the complete lack of professionalism I witnessed today led me to belief that any misgivings I might have had would have fallen on deaf ears.
Won't be visiting again in a hurry.

Went into branch sat morning, I have a new phone and was unable to transfer my HSBC app from I phone to Samsung. Was met by Dean, he sorted this problem out immediately. Saturday afternoon, admittedly not the busiest due to the weather, but busy enough. The management think that having just three manned checkouts is enough which is nonsense. The queues for all three were long, all with very full, large trolleys so I went to an unmanned one. How annoying are they? Firstly, the guy in front had a problem so the red light was merrily flashing away whilst the two staff chatted. I had to shout them three times before one appeared. Then because I had more than one bag to place in the infernal bagging area, I had to get staff authentication. Then it would recognise loose mandarins. Plus it's all so slow with pointless messages; 'Scanned', 'Place item in bagging area' and pointless 'Thank you.' That's me done with that store until there's more manned checkouts.

I realise the previous review praised the staff but just been over to ASDA on self service. The guy who was working there came over as I needed "store ID" He came over dealt with issue. The staff here are fantastic and work really hard to help customers. I have been present when a customer was unfairly abrupt and rude to a member of staff I was shocked !!! . However I was so pleased to see the staff member smile and still offer to help. Amazing I wouldn't have done!!!
It is a great store and if it doesn't stock an item it is because very few people want it. . Keep up the great work . Lots of us appreciate you all.

This bank is unreliable and untrustworthy. They tried to charge me £5 because of 'no activity' on an account that was closed down 20 months ago. However the girl was helpful enough as she and I closed it down yet again! Also the Shrewsbury branch is fast becoming less of a pleasure to visit with slow indifferent, and on one occasion ignorant, service. The message is clear, they want us all online and this is how Nat West PLC intend to slowly run it down. I confidently expect that Shrewsbury Mardol Head branch building will become a wine bar within 3 years. Just in time for my next visit. Beware..

Recently I found that I had locked up my travel card and I could not access my money. I was upset as home is Australia and that is where my card came from. In desperation I went to the NatWest bank in shrewsbury. They were wonderful and they helped me sort out this problem. I cannot thank them enough. I found them to be everything a bank should be .

I just checked the phone number for the Shrewsbury branch online and dialled it. I was then informed that the number had changed to a free 0800 number in 2015.
So - I payed for a phone call to find a free number to dial.

Having applied online and been refused an account application, we approached this Branch in person with all the information necessary to open an account but were turned away. Not satisfied with the lacklustre attempt by staff at the branch to support our application, I e-mailed the CEO of Santander and lo, within four hours we had been approved at Head Office for an account. Message....Don't take 'no' for an answer..ever...ever keep at it and go to the top when minor employees give up at the first hurdle.

Visited the TSB branch on Wednesday 28 November 2018 needing some cash after eating locally. I thought I could use the cash point and struggled to find one ! I went inside the branch and could not find one inside either! I enquired at the small counter and they said they did not have a cash point. Evidently the location used to be a Cheltenham and Gloucester building and there are no plans to install a cash point.

The staff are very helpful but trying to open an account for my daughter has become impossible. I have been given the wrong or contradictory information on several occasions and now i will have to wait 30 days before i can re-apply!! Sorry to say but i will now be moving all of my accounts.

Generally the service in this branch is ok x lots of till and cheque paying in machines that are very handy.
Today we experienced the manager Jason Pickering, who was rude in passing with a snide comment - I had commented to my mother regarding the banks closing time, as they turned the lights down at 4:30 and screened off the cashiers and help desk despite the bank listing as open until 5pm. this was while we waited for the lady who was dealing with us around 4:30pm.
When the manager came to assist to try and sort a communication issue between the branch and the business banking team in Birmingham, he was patronising and extremely disagreeable once again. Not what you expect from a bank such as Lloyd’s.
The lady who helped us otherwise was very nice and did the best she could we what appeared to be a frustrating internal communications system.
I will be moving banks after today’s experience and I would not recommend anyone looking for business banking in Shrewsbury to consider this branch.

Visited on Wednesday 16 January 2019 for the first time in many years. There are two external cash machines on Pride Hill but it did feel exposed to the elements and the passing people. However interestingly on entering the bank there was a whole wall of further cash machines and much to my surprise these cash machines not only pay out with the ten and twenty pound notes but much to my surprise it also dispensed £5 notes.

Lloyd’s let down! I needed to use a cashier this afternoon, only to walk in at 4:39pm and find to my disgust that there were none working beyond 4:30! It does not state anywhere on the opening hours displayed at the front of the building that this would be the case. It does not state these times on this website also. The only help offered to me was to have me do all the extra work and them do next to nothing. Compared to other banks I have accounts with, Lloyds are shocking. They do not provide the reliable decent service they once did, even though they were bailed out by the Government! ( where do you think the money came from)

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tired of complaining of various issues to head office as nothing is ever solved. I joined Barclays in another branch in a bigger city and the staff never changed there and customer service was ace. Shrewsbury, being rich market town would benefit from a good branch of Barclays. It is virtually impossible, unless you wish to wait a long time, to speak to an advisor. So I planned ahead and made an appointment for today on the phone, already you can tell this must have taken me a while. Arrived at the branch, rushed in the rain, had all necessary documents. I waited 25 minutes over my appt time only to see 3 members of staff to have a little chat in the corner. Eventually the lady who was in charge of appointments came over ( it was only us and another gentleman waiting) to say that the person I was scheduled to see is running behind with appointments and I will have to come back NEXT WEEK to be seen as my appointment will take 1.5h so they won't afford to see me today. I said I don't mind who we see as there were more advisors.
May I add I am a customer and purpose of my visit was to open an account for my partner and we had everything we needed with us in terms of proof/docs. I said no thanks we can take our business to another high street bank.
You are focusing so hard on saving on staff, you constantly have new inexperienced young staff at this branch and the standards are really slipping. Maybe you should visit one of the big city branches to see how to treat customers.
You have plenty of competition around who are more interested in looking after customers not just directing people to the machine all day.

Always experiencing issues with Online pr mobile banking, unnecessary security prompts which waste time compared to competitors i.e. Barclays. Forgot personal ID and called helpdesk which said that I can go straight into my banking simply by clicking 'Forgotten Log in Details', once I did this It now wants me to wait 4 to 7 working days for a new ID and password; I called back only to find out that the helpdesk assistant who asked if I want to update my phone number during our conversation would affect the process of login back in. Even though she knew my initial enquiry and knew it was an emergency, she still decided to make situations longer for me by not having common sense.
