Really bad experience. After being assured that the payment has gone through and I can collect it from store , the next day, I came back without the product that was purchased over phone, due to “blocked payment”. When I said that I atleast should have been informed about the blocked payment, as I live far, I was told that I should be dealing my problem with “people dealing with online things“ and not them, by extremely rude staff at “order and collect”. When I said that I should not have to worry about their internal communication, as to me, I have purchased my product from curry’s, I was greeted with extremely illogical and rude comments from a lady at “order and Collect “. The illogical comments included things like “you should not be purchasing stuff over phone” . I mean what’s the use of having that payment option if I can’t use it. She even tried to embarrass me by reading the reason of the blocked payment aloud, after threatening me that she would do it. Reading the reason aloud did not matter but her intentions did. She even started yelling at my parents, who were quietly standing the whole time. I was accused that I did not know how to talk to a lady. Not being funny, but one has to act like a lady, if they wanted to be treated like one. All I was saying was that I should have been informed, either by phone or email, about the cancellation of the order, as I was assured that the payment has gone through and would be ready for collection the next day. Instead of an apology, I was greeted with rude behaviour because the store did not want to take any responsibility. I was really saddened by the unprofessional, inefficient and rude approach by the staff of such a big name in electronic business. I will never go back there, and would most definitely not recommend . I have to say it was the worst experience I had, during my 3 year stay at the UK.

Lots of camera cases online but not in-store though quite a few. Having to wander around to find an assistant who was just really able to confirm that there were no others. The gap in the sizes seemed to be where we wanted one from. Got one in Argos instead!

Terrible service, terrible company! Their online service is an absolute shock. Tried to order pc parts from them for 2 weeks. The first time I ordered all the parts online the transaction went through and everything seemed fine, got my order number and was told would be delivered to address for the next day by 10pm. Waited up till then and nothing had arrived, no notice to let me know nothing was arriving then to have to phone them the following day for them to say we have cancelled your order and can’t give you a reason as to why. We was told to go into store and and make the order there, only to be told after sitting it there for an hour and half to go through each part that your credit has not been refunded and it will take 7-9 days to be credited back. A week and a half later once everything was credited back placed the order again (in store this time) to be told it will take 3-5 days only for it to take a few days longer then they had told me. If you want to have a frustrating time purchasing use curry’s if not I suggest you buy products elsewhere. First and last time to ever use them again!

Didn't have any updates on what was happening. Got a missed call from them and a voice mail telling me they couldn't fix it, which is fine, I didn't really think they'd be able to. However, when I tried to call the number back it didn't let me call them. Would not use again. Felt unbelievably risky.

After reading all the poor reviews I thought, ah benefit of doubt, give them a chance - big error.
They are indeed as bad as the reviews say. TRial at your own peril!
Scheduled 4 hour slot today 7am-11am, didn't hear anything from the delivery team until 12.30pm, only to advise they will be there in 45mins. 2 hours later still nothing - ring back and they tell me they have been diverted by the Headoffice and not sure when they will get to me now (update to me would have been nice). All this while I am stuck indoors waiting.
430pm they ring to say they can deliver my washing machine but can't fit it today now - why/ there is a rule about how long they can drive the vehicle! Can't guarantee me a first slot in the morning. NOw stuck on the phone trying to reschedule best as I can.
Should have gone with John Lewis really to avoid this headache.

For a year I have had an ongoing issue with a PC that since day of purchase, had not been working properly. This issue went on for so long that I started a dispute and took the PC back. Months passed and I hadn't received any word from the dispute with Curry's so after speaking to customer services I was advised to go in to Curry's and sort the issue out. I admit not looking forward to it, but I went. I am so pleased I did. I dealt with someone called Gary who listened to my complaint, was aware of my case and came up with a way to resolve the situation. Thank you Gary. for your excellent customer service skills and resolving the issue :-)

I regularly go to this branch to post parcels from my Etsy store. I always have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. I have never had bad service unlike the branch near where I work! The staff here always greet you with a smile and kind word or 2. It is a pleasure to attend here and in future I will rather wait a day or 2 and go here where I know the service will always be impeccable and there will always be a smile!

decided to visit this place purely based of the reviews, the pub itself is very spacious and the staff come across very accommodating. I found myself I table and browsed the menu, I opted for the beef and ale pie with a coke which to my surprise was only 4.99. really great value and the pie was stacked with filling. delicious!
the pub itself is well catered for sport with many screens including a projector. 2 pool tables and some gambling machines.
ill be sure to visit again soon.

really good value. had two meals and two soft drinks for under £10. the staff was really attentive. really good atmosphere, they had live sport showing and easy listening music playing. the pub itself is in good condition and you don't have to rub shoulders with other diners while trying to enjoy a meal.

I went to the Old Post Office today and the service i received was exceptional i had the two meals for 7.49 which itself is a bargain, and we chose the gammon and eggs.
This was cooked very well and the flavors were extremely good, i am looking forward to returning again to this establishment to receive further exceptional service.

To add insult to injury, I then had to wait again in another queue to buy some sweets. The poor man serving was obviously overwhelmed and couldn't cope with the amount of people in the shop. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

I don't live in Stevenage so I check on line where I might find a post office. I find this on London Road and drive there. I follow the sign that says Customer Service Counter. I think this doesn't look like a post office to me so at the counter my first question is: Is this a Post Office?
Lady says yes, so I explain that I need to send a pre-paid trackable parcel.
She says oh no, you will have to go to a Post Office for that.
I am startled with this ludicrous situation saying didn't I just ask...
And then I walk away as I don't wish to have a go at this person who obviously isn't the brightest tool in the box.
Why does the web page not say that this post office is not a post office despite its name ??

Get a mortgage at a more sensible bank that doesn't give you this nonsense.

Some members of staff are polite and offer good but not great customer service. There are a few staff members that just stand at the front of the Bank gossiping and laughing louder than a hyenas. Not a great experience all round. I am a very regular customer to the branch and on many occasions the staff stand around laughing it almost feels that they are laughing at me, makes me feel very uncomfortable. It is very unprofessional.

I must say that I’d been given great customer service from a woman called Faye. When I was upgrading my savings account, she went through a brochure and explained the benefits of having this particular account. Benefits I didn’t even know about in the first place.
Faye ensured that I got the best interest rate for my age and so I did, even when the doors were closing. Small wonder why I’ve been with Nationwide for a while now. Very helpful lady no doubt.

When opening my current account I asked could I pay money and cheques via the counter?
"Oh yes, no problem" I was told so account was opened.
so first time to pay a cheque in and the snooty woman at the counter told me to use the machine.
explained about my disabilities and she didn't give a toss.
so going over to the machine and it doesn't offer large print and when I asked for help I was told that I was on my own and they don't even offer large print payment envelopes and I was told that sombody else would have to come and do it for me
so I went to another bank with counter service and move money via Internet
they happily lied to me just to get another account opened, they are just like any other bank
