Took my tablet to Motech after being told by the official samsung store that they could but would not repair the device without my receipt (purchased over a year ago still under warranty) and motech repaired it same day for 25£! Super bargain and easy, would recommend

Although Santander is a very good 5 star bank, this BELGRAVE RD BRANCH, LEICESTER is the WORST branch ever. I will NEVER use this branch ever again. It took me 1 hour and 10 mins just to put money in my account and transfer it. Staff are far too slow. Very friendly and start chatting to you ignoring the big queue. Only 2 staff at the tills and a queue of very ANGRY, fed up, frantically waiting 9 people. The manager really needs to pull his socks up and make changes.

I have been a Lloyd's tsb customer for many years and have visited the thurmaston branch many times in that period but today when I went into withdraw some money from my account I felt intimidated by the service that I recieved firstly I was asked for id which they needed to photo copy to prove that it was me? then they went on about a payment that I recieved in my account from a family member as the amount that was deposited could be classed as money laundering

Even during the computer problem period, I got personal professional help from the branches I use, some of the staff know me by name now.
My only real complaint, is that I would love to see a branch in Loughborough again, it closed when they merged the 2 branches of Lloyds and TSB in the town, then when they split, we ended up without one.

Always long waits. Premier floor is supposed to offer quicker service but there seems to only ever be one person in that floor and a queue to be seen. No process to fast track or pull in staff from other floors. Phone appointments near impossible to. I dread every time I have to go in

Went in to Beaumont Leys branch today, where I've banked for last 15 years. Tried to open an ISA, no trained staff available for ISA set up. Main branch, the only one you can ring, said if there were no trained staff then they'll call the centre for you and you can set it up in branch over the phone.
After the teller told me all the staff dealing with ISAs had gone home it was 15.50 hours. I said head office said you would be able to connect me to the department that could set up ISA over phone. The chap struggled for 5 minutes and kept saying he couldn't find the number.
Complete joke, I've two accounts with them, very poor service, even during our conversation the chap was mumbling n laughing as he couldn't find the number. Totally unprofessional, never seen chap before must be new.
Had to walk away.
Unlike most businesses when banks loose billions of people's saving thay get bailed out by the government using money from the treasury that's for the future of the country so we can have a decent NHS, schools, care homes, pensions etc.
No wonder we are all suffering due to their bad investments or illegal ones since HSBC have been convicted for money laundering n giving tax avoidance advice to customers.
Public gets treated like idiots and pay for their screw ups.
No wonder taxes go up n services are cut, we are forever in austerity.
If you can't find a telephone number relating to your own department what confidence dose this show to your customers.

Since the recent remodeling that this branch has undergone, the time spent waiting to be served by a teller has tripled.
This is due to the ridiculous decision to remove 3 of the teller positions and replace them with ATM's, now for most people this probably wouldn't be an issue, however when you want to withdraw more money then the ridiculous ATM machines will allow, you're forced to stand in line and wait, only to be pestered by the now displaced former tellers, constantly asking if you need any help.
Meanwhile the two tellers that have remained seem more concerned with having a conversation with the individual they're serving, as aposed to actually preforming an efficient transaction.

Had issues with my pnb account in India and went to Punjab national Leicester bank .spoke to Mr Bhava
A very nice Sikh bank manager. He took note of my issues wrote an email and even rang the bank in India and spoke to the bank manager and sorted out the problem .I cannot thank him enough for his help and going the extra mile by phoning the bank in India. I donot agree with the negative comments given by previous Google reviews . He was polite courteous and even offered me tea while sorting out my issues which bank will do that.

I only spoke to a man named Mr. Kulwinder Baba. The man has no idea how to speak to people, let alone customers. The ego, arrogance and downright rudeness of the man beggars belief. I don't even understand how he's still working there, especially after reading other comments. Seriously, the people above him need to act. I went into the bank with my Grandfather (who's 91 years of age and has Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease by the way) who had queries with regards to his account in India. He just wanted to ask what would be the best way to set his affairs in order and this man, Mr. Baba just shot him down. He didn't even try to listen to us. Just yelled in an aggressive and accusatory tone. The man is patronising and condescending. My Grandfather was stunned, didn't know or understand how to proceed and needless to say, we left. I consoled him and told him we'll find another means to get things sorted. I didn't speak to anyone else in the branch so I can only speak of this man in particular. God forbid the other staff are not like Mr. Baba. The only reason why I'm writing this review is because I know there are many people out there who have family/relatives and friends in India who have accounts with PNB and that it's not always easy to find solutions from the UK. I'm just sharing our experience this particular man. If you need to visit PNB branch in Leicester, by all means, go visit them, just avoid Mr. Kulwinder Baba at ALL costs. Try speaking to someone else, hopefully you'll be treated with a little more dignity and respect than we were.
Seriously though, I still can't get it out of my head, he must be losing business and customers. I've been on the receiving end of bad customer service a few times but this is the first time I thought to write a review. I was going to make an official complaint at their Head Office but I don't think anything would've come to fruition as we don't have an account with them.
Have to give them at least ONE star rating to post this review. Didn't want to. Had to. Nevertheless.

One of the worst bank I have ever seen. Full of Idiots. No one knows about anything. It takes 4 months to open an account and lending never gets done. They are the biggest time wasters and they should be closed and FCA should take off the licence.
I would be sharing this with every one and I am sure this bank will be closed soon. Full of arrogant and useless people. Senior Management is the biggest time waste. Don't do any business with this stupid bank.

Terrible bank, rarely answer the phone, awful opening hours... not convenient for anyone except the staff maybe... and the debit card is not accepted at many places. Due to widespread closures this branch has become uber busy with massive queues, the staff are obviously under too much pressure and consequently makes a less than pleasant experience when one is rushed and treated with less than polite tellers. I don't blame the employees as much as the employers. The world is getting a very impersonal place and Nat West is not helping one bit.
