Went in looking for a TV and new mobile. Had to prise info out of TV salesman and practically force him to do more than point at the size of TV I was interested in. Gave it cup as a bad job! Phone salesman a little better but had nothing suitable. Poor!

Went to look at Electric Ovens. They have a lot of them on display. The staff will also talk about them if you ask the correct ones.
They have a big inventory of stock and will sell them on far better terms of service than going online

We came here to buy a new microwave. The selection on display was reasonable, ranging from basic models at around £70 through to impressively multifunction ovens at around £300. There were a few different styles on display too.
We found one that suited our needs and aesthetic taste, although it ended up being more expensive that we'd hoped. There was only one left in stock and the box had been somewhat damaged. However, the microwave inside was fine, so we were happy with that.
Besides microwaves, the shop sells a wide variety of other items, mostly electrical goods. We didn't look around much on this occasion though.

Went here asking them to build me a custom gaming PC. I gave them a list of parts to use and paid the £800 they asked for. When I finally got the PC I used it quite happily for 1 year before I started experiencing issues with the memory. I found this strange so I opened my PC to have a look. I had asked for 16GB of RAM however they had put the RAM in the wrong slots so it wasn't all being used. While looking around inside the PC I found another problem that really annoyed me. The RAM problem was probably a simple mistake however they had given me a 60GB SSD instead of the 124GB SSD that I paid for. I'm absolutely done with Morley computers. I will never buy from here again.

When I called the store 3weeks ago I was quoted £15 for my computer keyboard to be repaired after 2 weeks of waiting I was told that the part had arrived to the store damaged and I would have to wait a further 48hours.
After another week I was called to say the new part had arrived but they will now be charging me £25. I explained if that was what they initially charged me then I would have paid it but I was quoted £15 and would not be paying any more than £15.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered ink from these guys, gave us fake cartridges that stopped working halfway through the cartridge multiple times. Rather than replacing these, they continued to tell us they will be delivered the next day for 3 months straight. Absolute joke of a company, will be laughing when they inevitably shut down.

Good Points: Post Office counter open until late, Has a Cash Machine, Good range of products. Bad Points: The main post counter is usually always closed so you have to queue by the shop counter which causes chaos. The shop can be very dirty at times, stock is scattered around and you have to very careful you don't trip over. Not the best cleanliness and hygiene levels.

Pitiful service here now at Dewsbury..Went in to deposit a cheque behind a mega queue, encouraged to wait for the machine to deposit it..Member of staff (useless) examined the cheque and professed it fine to use the machine with. It rejected it, said dozy member of staff then said its because it was hand written and I`d have to use the counter, which by now people were queuing to the door !!
OK I`ll go to the Post Office and deposit it..You can`t unless you have a Santander deposit slip and one of their envelopes and Dewsbury branch doesnt have any on display..A bank run by cretins these days

Absolutely awful staff. Sofia the “Personal banker” told us to go to Yorkshire Bank for to open cash isa . All staff gave us the wrong information on cash isa and help to buy scheme. Treated us and interrogated us as though we were criminals demanding personal information over phone. We told her not to confuse us she tried to push us into get a loan we didn’t need and no intention of getting. We made 4 journeys to get information but everything went wrong. Very rude, abrupt doesn’t understand vulnerable customers and tries to take advantage of vulnerable customers by confusing them and binding them in. Had to complain after being treated absolutely disgustingly and offending us when all we wanted was to open an isa. Said we needed to open savings account and demanded £500 per month without fail in order to open cash isa . Staff do not smile, greet or welcome customers and it’s awful like dead town you feel awful asking for advice or help. Avoid and as their own staff said “go to Yorkshire Bank” complained to customer service centre who said Dewsbury manager will contact us in mobile but branch manager failed to contact us. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional staff all of them!

Only reason I opened this account is because NatWest open on Saturdays. I find the staff at this branch to be rude and unhelpful. When I'd filled everything out online, they made me do it again and the system wouldn't accept my details, even when I produced full ID. We eventually got there but only through my persistence, not from the staff being helpful.

Excellent service from the Halifax Staff.
Yesterday my wife and I had occasion to visit the Dewsbury Branch of the Halifax Bank. This is our regular banking source and we had gone there because we were unhappy about four entries which had appeared on our latest statement. We use online banking and it is not every month that I bring up our statements, but on this occasion, for the month of June I had noted four entries which I had no knowledge of.
We were attended to by a very pleasant and highly professional young woman, I know only as Rossina. She quickly ushered us into a private office and after a brief explanation, she within minutes, had detected a number of other entries of equally STRANGE SOURCES TO US.
She then equally quickly contacted your fraud detection branch by telephone, who with Rossina went through our accounts for the previous twelve months.
They were, both of them absolutely first class, first, they detected at least another dozen cases, then had the card stopped and took steps to issue another but the most astounding thing was the refund of these fraudulent transactions into our account.before we even left the Branch.!
This was magnificent service and should be widely known but in the first step I wish to draw you your attention to the work of M/S Rossina. She is a great credit to your organisation and we are most grateful.

Visited on Monday 11/06/2018 and it took 30 Minutes to be served. Surprise surprise the automated deposit machine was also not working. Furthermore, only 2 counters were open (which is a regular occurrence) and the queue was to the outside of the branch. With the other banks closing within the town Lloyds Batley is getting busier, yet they are cutting staff on the counters and have only one automatic deposit machine. An absolute shambles really. Will have to consider moving elsewhere as it might be quicker to go to a different bank in another town then waiting for so long here.

They have closed the local branches down in some areas now this place is usually over crowded. They also have special safe timings so if you want your cash in 50 notes expect to wait half an hour. Pretty ridiculous to be honest.
