i had a laptop that i couldn't use the internet. its been like this for a while. it took so long to open a window and once it opened, a lot of windows opened at the same time. so i took my laptop to A2F and in a matter of hours, my laptop was working like new.
i highly recommend these guy!

Have been buying from here for several years. You get a personal and great level of customer service.
Prices are rock bottom for some quality equipment. Any issues later and you are looked after well. Have spent £100's here and will continue to do so.

All round good service, phoned in the morning travelled from Hyde. Took them about a 45min whilst I was in a cafe round corner, very welcoming, the staff are great I could of stayed there all day talking about consoles.

Called today to get a new screen for my grandson's I-phone. The person said that the member of staff who did mobile repairs was on holiday, but recommended a nearby rival. I did visit the other company, who were excellent, but I wish to record my thanks for the helpful and honest advice. I am impressed and will use this company on a future occasion. Old fashioned customer service at its best. Thanks.

Repaired my PS3 60GB model with a re-ball which still works a few months later.
A few seemingly shady things (my opinion) happened though during the repair.
1) My drive was busted too apparently. I doubt this was unfixable but they only offered to replace at a charge of £30 and refused to send me back the 'broken' drive, Replacement drive seems to not work great either, when used vertically some disks aren't recognized but as I rarely use this PS3 by the time i noticed the warranty had lapsed.
2) My case came back busted off the top and patched up by double sided sticky tape, when I questioned it they said it had arrived like that with them. If that's true then fine but you'd think they'd contact the customer to inform them that their device had arrived busted instead of a patch repair and return without informing the customer.
Small company so maybe what I'm looking at with suspicion is only poor communication but something that needs to be worked and my original requested repair of a re-ball is still working as expected, there aren't many quality repair services in the UK so I hope

Sorry about my late review I don't usually post them, but this company Hi-Tech Fones & Computers were fantastic. I am disabled and when my laptop needed repairing my wife caught two buses to their shop in Farnworth taking to be fixed. They did the repair required the same day at a very reasonable cost and one of the brothers who own the company returned it to my house that evening free of charge as he didn't want my wife to have to go all the way back again to pick it up. I call that great customer service and now I would like to recommend them to people needing repairs to their tech equipment to use them without any worries. I am quite sure you will be more than pleased The two brothers were extremely well mannered and a pleasure to deal with. I hope this review is of help to you when you need a reliable and quick service or repair.

Bought a £200 smart watch and purchased the £50 care plan, which covers you for 5 years, 3 months after purchase the watch needs to go in for repair, the run around that I've had is ridiculous. 10-28 days it will take, I then have to remind them that I bought the care plan which I get the watch repaired in 7 days or they will provide a replacement or a voucher to the equivalent amount, i went back into store today and they say they have to send an email to the repair team to issue the voucher, this could take another 3 days, we then rang up the repairs team and they said they need to wait for the email from the store which they then pass onto their chase team which will then text me the voucher, I also found out today that the sale of my watch has been discontinued in their store, I only found this out on the website, they didn't inform me of this.
You would think that buying their £50 care plan would speed things up a bit, but no, there is no urgency at all. I will not be buying anything again from currys, utterly dissapointed with the service I have received.

Limited range of products, although the shop is big, the actual products are from only a handful of manufacturers. Common low and mid-range products belonging to Dell, HP, some Lenovo, but all at a much higher price than can be found online, which is not the stores fault, but the business as a whole. Staff standing around in groups talking to each other so you feel like you are interrupting with a question, rarely do we go to buy here- it's mainly to see an item in person that we are interested in, hold it etc, then go away and purchase elsewhere for even half the price they try to sell for. Used to love PC World, but it's getting left behind with the times.

Sales Assistant who dealt with my request for laptop to meet very specific requirements did so professionally without any sales pressure and with a very sound knowledge of the subject matter. I was very impressed with him and with the service. Not fired it up yet mind but one assumes it will work when I do. I would recommend using this store. Very good selection of readily available stock. A pleasing experience and nice to deal with someone face to face as well. People will live to regret the decline of the high street if they insist on shopping on line.

Absolutely disgraceful!
I’m hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I rely on what I see and read to direct me to where I am going.
On entry to the new Bolton general post office on oxford street (an embarrassment to the post former office).
There was a man selling cigarettes to my left at a kiosk. Further up on my left was the postal service area that was completely unmanned. Directly ahead of me was the currency exchange and a staff member called Christine behind the glass.
I waited at the postal service wait hear sign and after a a wait the man shouted at me: “you wanna be served you come here!” I said that disappointed that nobody was staffing the postal service area and he shouted st me in front of customers and staff telling me I should calm down. I’m not a mind reader and I depend on directions. The lady at the money exchange was equally as rude: giving me a dressing down in front of staff and customers asking; “how are we to know that you are deaf!?”
Perhaps all people with disabilities should were a big signs around their necks describing their conditions!
I got the feeling that No matter what I was concerned about the staff here were not interested in listening.
As I passed over my parcel I gave her a certificate of online postage that needed to be stamped to validate proof of postage.
To my utter dismay She then slammed my parcel into a collection sack!
She spoke down to me again shouting “you can’t have a stamp!”
I tried to explain that eBay required it as proof that I posted my parcel. She then ripped my receipt off the letter and stamped it with the stamp.
I asked for my receipt and she asserted: “you can have one or the other but not both!” You might say you posted two parcels “”Really!?””
As I walked away I caught the lady removing my parcel out of the sack and then she threw it into another sack. Concerned that something was wrong I asked what she was doing with my parcel. She reasoned that she had put it in the wrong bag by mistake.
My parcel was removed from first class posted into the second class sack. I explained I had paid first class and she simply said “it will still get there”.
As I walked away I approached the man who was rude to me at the beginning and explained that I was hard of hearing. He was obnoxious and arrogant snubbing me.
I was by now very annoyed and said to him “don’t you ever speak to me like that again”.
My main concerns are that my parcel may well be damaged if staff here are throwing it around the way Christine did and I am also concerned that my parcel will not even arrive. There is something very sinister going on here and I simply do not have any trust or confidence in this post office or with its staff.
Last but not least if you have a disability that isn’t clearly labeled upon your person then prepare to be treated rudely and abruptly; don’t trouble these people with your problems!
There is no telephone number to complain on any longer and the number you do find is totally automated.
They take your money and then completely ignore you and any concerns you might have.
I don’t recommend this Post Office or it’s atrociously bad staff attitude toward people with disabilities.
I just hope my parcel arrives on time and in one piece!

Under charge post causing the receiver to have to pay for their items. Lost items in the past and the lady serving can rude and arrogant. On one occasion she crossed out my post code saying it didn't exist, I told her it did. She left it crossed out and I had to phone parcel force to amend it, apparently she didn't look for the post code on page 2 where she would have found it.

Ok, so I hate leaving bad reviews and this isn't anything against the staff working there who are absolutely fine. But numerous times over the last few months I've turned up at this branch to post items (I run a small business, so taking time out to go to the Post Office is normally planned into my day) only to find it closed. During the day, during opening hours. Today was 'system update' according to the sign on the door. Normally though I've found it closed with people outside no one with any idea what is going on. A few times we have found out it is something to do with the cash point inside. This really is NOT ON.

Worst person I’ve ever met works in here what a character she is, so arrogant and snotty, I went in to collect a parcel force parcel that failed delivery to my wife with my ID as it’s against the law for me to carry anyone else’s as that’s a form of fraud, only to be told by said woman that I have the wrong ID I tried to explain that no it was me in the picture and I don’t carry out fraudulent activities but she said the note is addressed to my wife not me. Instead of just explaining to me that it’s parcel forces policy which I found out on the phone to parcel force she gave me loads of abuse and the treatment I received from her was heart breaking if I could put an official complaint in about her i would, my wife has just gone to collect it 5 days after failed delivery and she has sent it back to the depo. How do people like that sleep at night? Certainly won’t be putting any money through parcel force or that post office in the future horrible people

Just wanted to post this review as I found the lady serving yesterday at this post office one of the most rude and aggressive members of staff I have dealt with in a long time!
I had the misfortune of being served by the older Asian lady with a head scarf (approx 50 yr old lady at 2:30pm 1st July 2019).
I only popped in to pick up a parcel, a quick and easy transaction (you would think) but was treated so poorly by this dragon that I will ensure I have my parcels delivered else where in future!

A vulnerable pensioner I know went to this post office to put money on their electric key. When this person got home the top up didn't work.
This person rang the post office straight away to ask for advice on what to do . The man who answered the phone was very nasty and said it's not our problem ring your electricity company and just put the phone down.
This person was clearly very upset.
I understand the post office can't do anything but the way this vulnerable person was treated is disgusting . Just some empathy and manners would of prevented someone from getting so up set.
Considering a majority of people who use a post office are vulnerable people I strongly suggest customer service training is very much needed in this post office .

I have been with this building society for over 20 year's & I understand that they have to be catious & safe when it comes to people wanting to draw money out of an account when they don't have any identification but i sent my partner to put some money in my account but because i hadn't given him any sort of I.d they refused to do it. Why refuse him when he was paying money into my account? I don't understand it. I have also tried to change the address on my account as it's in my mother's address but i no longer live there but they wouldn't do that for me either even though i could answer all the security questions. I have to keep going to my mums to collect my mail I.e my bank statements. I will say one thing they do try to help they always have a member of staff asking people who are in the queue if they can help so they don't have to stay in the queue if it's something that another member of staff can help with your query.

An attendant of middle Eastern descent ignores customers who are quite obviously looking at him in need of service ; instead of doing his job, he's having a conversation that is not work or customer service related at all.
When he did get to me after an hour of waiting, he said that I need an appointment to switch my account; despite the website stating you DON'T need one, and one of the management team telling me to just come in with all my ID any day and they'll switch right there and then.

Not sure what other banks are like but the Halifax experience was much better.

The new ‘modern’ system doesn’t work. There’s loads of machines and iPads but no one wants to use them so there’s a massive queue to speak to an actual person. If I wanted to use an iPad I’d do it at home. Some of the staff didn’t seem particularly helpful and they also seemed really understaffed for a Saturday. I was served by a lady called Wendy who was really fab. Hire more Wendy’s... lose the tech!

Visited the branch on 31st August and tried to catch the attention of floor operator/staff to discuss Credit Card details, an appointment or an offer for use in my business. When i did another customer pipped me to it so being polite i offered the gentleman to go ahead.
The floor attendant was abrupt in explaining he had 30 seconds to speak to us before he has to return to the 'self service' computers .(clues in the title). If i spoke to my customers in that manner id be out of business by the end of the year. The branch was busy, but... were all busy. Took my business elsewhere and was successful..
I left Barclays thinking forget it! Not worth the business.

I wanted to deposit a cheque and make a withdrawal. First machine wasn't accepting cash deposits, but that was ok. Did the cheque deposit and then don't get the withdrawal option, grrrrr. Went through withdrawal rigmaroll on a second machine which finally decided it couldn't complete the transaction, grrrrrrrrr. Finally completed the withdrawal on a third machine, result! Customer service obviously not important to Barclays.

A Tesco middlebrook cash machine under dispensed and my account was devoted straightaway. The amount withdrawn from my account could not have been withdraw by a cashmachine but only in branch.
I contacted Barclays straight away. The foreign guy did not understand me and was off no help. I went in to branch the staff there couldn’t be bothered and simply said an investigation will be carried out and is simply a waiting game!!! Nasty ignorant staff.
Ridiculous I am moving back to hsbc and would not recommended to bank with Barclays.

Called in this afternoon with a new foreign language assistant from France to open a bank account. In spite of passport, driving licence, proof of previous address, tax declaration and a letter from the employer confirming address and salary was told that it wouldn't be possible to open an account as they would not recognise the Bolton educational establishment as an employer on their list in spite of the lady admitting that she drive past the entrance on her way to work every morning! When I asked if the employer could be added to the list was told that no one had authority to change the computer...went to HSBC who sorted an account out the same afternoon without any quibbles and with superb customer service.

The queue is often down to one or two people by the time that I tend to arrive at the Bolton branch after 4pm, and the staff behind the counter are usually few and far between, but friendly enough. Just one thing I wouldn't mind asking, though: Is it part of a new Lloyds policy to Americanise customer/employee interaction by having counter staff see you off with an over familiar "See you buddy" farewell, instead of the more traditional goodbye?

Absolutely shocking. Three serious mistakes in two months. It is interesting to read that another customer was short-changed as well. Me too. I paid in £6000 yet the cashier with £1000 bundles that had been counted, twice before getting to the bank. The money had not been left unattended and I travelled alone. The cashier started faffing near a bin and was acting shifty then proceeded to count the money that had been in her hand near the bin. Turned up £200 short. I complained immediately to the manager and I was made to feel like a school kid getting a telling off. Whilst I was being berated by the bank manager, I noticed the cashier had disappeared from near the tills so she had time to stash the money. I wonder if it is the same cashier? (Dark hair, fat). Then a few weeks later, I went to pay a business cheque clearly addressed to the business, and somehow the cashier paid it into the wrong account, thankfully though, head office reimbursed me for this one as I had an audit trail. MAKE SURE YOU COUNT YOUR CASH YOURSELF IN FRONT OF THEM BEFORE YOU HAND IT OVER.

This place is very discriminating against disabled people.
I have had mobility problems for a few years now and any cash needing banking was done by my carer.
Not everyone owns, nor wants to own, a car. My wheels are a wheelchair.
Now I can’t deposit cash nor cheques unless I go into the bank personally. Last week, they refused point blank, despite being reminded by my carer, again of my disability, to bank some cash meant to cover a direct debit due. (My disability payments go into this bank account, so no excuses) They also refused to change my address details when I moved, unless I went into the bank personally to do it (no proof needed, just my debit card used). Some people can get a ref number by text to quote over the phone to change their details. Unfortunately I was not one of those lucky ones.
I’m told it’s to prevent money laundering.
I believe it’s an excuse to have the customers do their work for them.
