The hard drive of my laptop crashed while I was working and I had the urgency to have my laptop fixed as soon as possible.
However, I had to deal with extremely unprofessional technicians that were unable to solve my problem on time.
One of them even came to my place with the wrong new hard drive while what kind of part was needed had been specified in detail.
All those experiences led me to think that finding a real professional in Borehamwood was like digging rocks to find gold.
Thus, with the willingness to give this town the last chance and save my time without going to London, I contacted Steve.
He promptly ordered a new drive for my laptop and in a couple of hours he made my 2 years old laptop better than a new one.
I do not have any reservation in suggesting Steve (PC Guys) for any inconvenience you might have with your computer or laptop.
He is not the kind of guy who charges you just to get your money. He will turn your almost dead machine into a gold mine of opportunities and technological excellence.
I will never doubt about his professionalism anymore.
Instead, I will suggest him to anyone who wants to deal with an excellent technician who likes pioneering positive perfectionism and serving his customers with the best solution they could have never imagined.

Have used them twice now once to sort an external hard drive issue, and more recently to repair a cracked iPhone screen :( and overheating laptop. I was able to drop them in the same day i called with the enquiry, and both were repaired very quickly. Always polite and helpful. Will definitely be using again. Well hopefully nothing will break for a while but if it does .... Will come to these guys! Good prices, good service.

Terrible expirence. They needed my password to do a simple iPhone screen repair, this is highly unusual and I’ve never heard of this happening anywhere else. The phone had one screen repair previously, this was done by Apple. Apparently this was so perplexing to Zenith that they messed up the repair an had my phone for a week! Absolutely useless. Do not use this company, the customer service is atrocious. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

Appalling service. I brought my laptop tin to have the charger tested as I thought it was faulty. Ash informed me that they didn't have a similar one in stock but would order one and call me. I then had to visit my sick mother, urgently, and the laptop ended up being with Ash for a good 3 weeks (Luckily it's not my 'work' computer.) When I got back I was told that it wasn't the charger and the laptop was completely non functional but that the data could be put on a USB. I agreed, was told this would be about 2 days so 4/5 days later I went to collect said laptop and USB. It hadn't been done as 'we are very busy, it's coming near Christmas etc etc. As an advocate of independent business, especially on our high streets, I told Ash not to worry I would collect it after Christmas.
I went back around 23nd Jan, not ready but definitely the next day, next day told come back in 30mins. Then told data can't be transferred 'here is your laptop' I asked for the charger but was told, by Ash's colleague' that I hadn't brought it in. I left confused and then remembered 'but that's why I brought it in in the first place' (to have charger checked) Went back, they remembered but couldn't find charger, please come back etc etc....I have now been going backwards and forwards for two weeks and 3 emails. Finally got a message that it had been 'found' so went today to collect. No charger. Apparently it was found and now lost again. To may things even worse Ash offered me another charger. I had foreseen this and fortunately had my laptop in my bag and of course it wasn't a suitable charger. So still no charger, which incidentally is my property.
As I said I am a supporter of local, small business but this is one of the most disorganised and unprofessional that I have ever encountered. To add to that they have blatantly lied on at least 2 occasions. I have lost all trust in them. Much as it pains me to withdraw support, neither my family nor I will use their services again and I certainly will not be advising any one else to do so. (something I have done in the past)
I have given them one star because I had to in order to post review but really I would like to award none.

Heard rude man Russel had been asked to leave. So I gave new guy Ervin and Ash a laptop to fix. they saved all my data and fixed it. Unlike previous review, all my photos were backed up. Used to come to this shop often, till Russel came. He was rude and I gave my custom to someone else. Now he's gone, I will gladly come back to this shop. I did hear that alot of customers left cause of Russel's behaviour and lack of compassion. Will now recomend coming back to old customers who have left. Ash is a good, especially with OAP's. Keep up the good work Ash. sure you will do well now that Russel is out of the picture.

I arrived at 17.01 and asked if I could use the self service machine quickly to pay in a cheque. Despite there still being a.number of customers in the bank to be seen to I was refused entry... where I do understand there being a procedure to follow, a little grace in this regard would've been preferable as I'd rushed to get to the bank after I finished work and my timetable is complete contrast to the banks opening times.so getting to a bank is not convenient for me

Ignore all the other reviews saying this bank is bad; from my experience, I’ve had nothing but simple, smooth sailing whenever it comes to depositing, withdrawing, setting up an account or just taking in the dogs for some water :) The main point of this review is to highlight an incident that happened to me recently; after depositing some money into my card, I left the bank, went home and realised I had dropped my card near metro bank. Obviously, some kind soul had seen the dropped card and gone into metro bank to give it to them. I was hugely busy and had no time to call metro bank and cancel the card, but to my surprise, two days later, I received a letter with a new card inside! Brilliant bank

Put my name down for a safety deposit 6 months ago and heard nothing. I then went in a few days ago to ask if one had become available and for some reason I wasn’t put on waiting list.
After putting my name down again I then received an email saying that a box had become available and I needed to go into the branch and sort.
I turned up to the branch and was told by the cashier that all the staff were busy and no one would be able to see me. This was at 7.00pm and the branch was still open for another hour.
There was a member of staff sitting at a desk free and when I asked the cashier if he could help she told me he was the manager and would be unable to assist

Awful place. The cheque paying in machine would not accept my cheque and told me to ask an assistant for help. I could not find anybody. Not hide nor hair. I left and returned 30 minutes later and still nobody was available. Oh there were people there, but they all averted their eyes and disappeared out the back. Others were in cubicles helping people. It was only a very small cheque (money wise) so I shredded the damned thing. HSBC are a waste of time. I really don't know why I stay with them. Utterly hopeless.

I went into the Halifax branch on Shenley road yesterday. When I asked to withdraw cash I was told I could not as they had an IT issue. I asked for a note stating this issue for my personal reference. At this point the attendant started getting very rude saying she wouldn't do it and didn't see why she should. I asked to speak to the branch manager, Aruna Shah who was equally rude and unhelpful. When I told her I would complain about her she said she would complain about me and when I told her I would change banks she smiled and told me to do so. I see why her staff have such a lack of customer service skills, profesionalism and manners as she sets the example in such a bad way. This branch is a disgrace to Halifax's reputation. I will take this complaint much further internally as I don't think anybody deserves to be served by a horrible person like Aruna Shah and her staff need to be trained by a better manager.

As a university student, I felt that my age and youthful appearance played an important role in my customer experience. The staff member who served me sat in a slouched position, spoke in an unfriendly and unprofessional manner. I felt very uncomfortable. I have previously been with my parents to this bank on many occasions and they have always acted professional and friendly. If my parents were with me today, I feel as though I would have been treated a lot differently. There needs to be consistency in how staff members treat their customers.

Made 3 trips to the bank on separate occasions but still ended up not opening a community business account! So much time wasted trying to meet their requirements. Staff even made me pay an internet office across the street to make unnecessary changes to wording in my document! And all for nothing too! Never going to set foot in the bank again. This branch is not like other banks, people are welcoming and personable. Steve Carr the local director is very helpful and has a wealth of experience with help from Daryl Heard business manager they have set high standards for all staff to follow, the right tone has been set at the top and as a result this branch is buzzing with staff eager to help and support customers.
They do provide alot of free stationary etc.. for customers as well as access to a coin machine where coins can be exchanged for cash or deposited directly into your account.
I would recommend this branch without hesitation.
