Awful place, sell things without checking to see if the item has been reset. Managers are terrible towards staff, it's a case of favouritism, no I haven't worked there - I've seen it happen though. A thoroughly disgraceful company, nothing but a bunch of charlatans.please avoid these places.

Used twice, first time currency not delivered to the post office for collection by the stated time, second, today, unable to collect as the assistant said the computer would not allow him to issue the currency, even though he had it there and I had all correct documents and had paid in advance. told to come back next week! I'd suggest anyone using the PO for currency to order well in advance.

I went into this shop/post office to post a package to the US. They told me how much it would cost, I agreed without question, and as I was paying they asked why I would spend so much to post a package. How is that any of their business?? They went on and on about how much I was paying and then made comments like 'Couldn't you send flowers or something instead?' Again, not their business. Then I had to ask them for the custom's forms as they didn't seem to know anything about it. They seemed to think filling out the form would take too much time so they told me to just sign the blank form and they would fill it out for me. How did they know what was in the box? How did they know how much I paid for it? etc. I said 'no, I'll fill it out, thanks.' to which I got several grunts and groans. I offered to stand to the side of the window and fill it out whilst the man behind me--the only other person in the shop, so not as if there were a long que--was served and then I would come back to the window. They told me there was no where to fill out the form and that I could take it home with me and then come back. But I had already paid and they had not provided me with the postage yet so why would I leave the store and then come back?? Overall, these people were so rude and acted as if customers were an inconvenience to them rather than business. Also, they treated me like I was some sort of idiot for paying so much--they set the rates, not me. If I need to post a package I have no choice but to pay the rates. And if I do choose to pay a fortune to post a package then why is it a concern to them? The man at the shop till made a comment when I left 'Oh, so you're not going to buy anything whilst you're here taking up time?' Does everyone who goes into a post office shop buy shopping at the store?? I worried the whole way home about what they would do to my package, and I check with the recepient every day until they received it. --Yes, thankfully the package was received ok!! I would not go back to this post office or shop. I would not recommend either of these to anyone. I have also reported this post office to Royal Mail.

This is a wonderful post office and is run by the kindest, most friendly people. They are always welcoming and fun and always extremely efficient and accurate in their work. I use this post office regularly to send mail and the high quality of service here at Lancaster Road was highlighted recently when I had to go to another local branch for a few weeks instead. At the other branch the staff were making sloppy mistakes on an almost daily basis. It was such a relief to be able to go back to Lancaster Road to see friendly faces and receive a proper high standard of service. Oh, and they sell lovely cards, too!

These franchise post offices are useless the one at my local post office which is in Palmers Green is rubbish. So I thought I could try the one in Enfield. I wanted to send 2 parcels. One parcel was a blouse which weighted like a pound coin and the other was a pair of shoes. The lady who served me charge me £3 for 2nd class for the blouse which weighed hardly anything then she put the shoes on the scale and charged the same price as the blouse. Which I found strange as how can the two weigh the same. Surely the shoes should be charged more than £3 and the blouse less. Usually I use the post office in Great Portland St which is 100% just a post office with great service and won’t over price you.

Very poor customer service. I have used this post office a few times; it always has large queues and not enough staff to serve customers. You can go there any day or time, and there will be a queue. They need more staff to serve people quickly and efficiently.

Always huge queues & staff are incredibly slow.
Was left for 40mins before.
The speed & quality of service is 100% better at the smaller post office only caster road! They always make an effort to reduce the wait time for customers.

The only branch I know of that refuse to give 'proof of postage' and insist this is not a service the post office provide. Brimsdown PO are much better, more efficient and will provide the service that IS provided by POs.

They have not got a clue about the post office service they supposed to be providing. They don't know how to cancel a postal order yet the owner claim to know everything. When I proved him wrong he started swearing at me.
I am making a formal complaint. I will never step in this post office again.

the slowest post office in Enfield, with long queues and very few staff even when it is busy. I use this branch for ebay packages and i end up wasting a long time in the queue even my package is pre paid online, because it still needs to be scanned at cashier. It would be much better to have a self scanner with a printer for such services, that would save valuable time for all.

Really bad service!
Strange argumentative person in charge here. Seemed very defensive and unsure of what they were doing, took ages and only half processed my parcel. I asked why she hadn’t put any labels on my urgent parcel, she said she would do it later, and just put it amongst a pile of other unlabelled mail. As I the was sole customer, I thought this was odd.
I said I would prefer that she labelled them whist I was there but she refused to, and told me I was bullying her.
I said that I really wasn’t but would feel better if my parcel was fully processed before I left, as I had been in the shop for half an hour already, and didn’t mind waiting another few minutes but she refused.
I just didn’t feel confident, so asked for a refund, and went elsewhere.

This business is closed down. I ordered parcels to be delivered with them but the shop is shut down. Thank God, I received a call from a UPS driver telling me to go to InkHive Printers to collect my parcel otherwise I don't know how my Christmas shopping would have gone.

To whom it may concern
I wish to make a complaint regarding the treatment I have received whilst posting via Royal Mail services.
Earlier today I headed to Post & Packing at 27 Swan Court, Pavilions Shopping Centre, High St, Waltham Cross EN8 7BY, to ship a few items.
My packages already had all the relevant information and the labels/stickers for Tracked & Signed or Signed For servies, ready for scanning.
The lady processing my packages printed out, what I assume were postage labels, and stuck them on my parcels. She then asked me for payment, and after the card payment went through. she gave me a small receipt for the money transaction only, but refused to give me a proof of postage, or an itemized receipt for my purchases. I tried to explain that I need a proof of postage with my tracking numbers, and I need an itemized receipt that tells me what I have purchased and how much I have spent on each item.
Whilst not really listening to my queries, the lady was very evasive in her responses and defensive and argumentative, she did not answer my questions and she acused me of being disrespectful towards her. I want to say, for the reccord, that I was in no way being disrespectful towards her, though I was insistant that I warrented propper receipts.
She then took photocopies of my parcels (with the labels that I myself had pre stuck on them for the above mentioned services) but then she cut out, from said photocopies, the labels that she had printed and stuck on them, for what reason I can not fathom.
I wish that I could better convery what a thoroughly upsetting experience it was to find myself being argued at, but what is more; I have paid for and left 4 packages there, for which I have no proof, nor do I know how much each item cost.
All I have are 2 photocopies, of my own parcels, with no relevant info that they have been posted, all they prove is that they were photocopied. These photocopies are not going to be of any use, if one of my intended recepients tells me they have not received their items.
This lady is ridiculous!

Really poor. I went in today for 10 am meeting to transfer bank account from 1 bank to another. I rang in the morning to say i will be 5 mins late to be then told when i get there after travelling an hour. They say the systems have been down all morning......hmmmm erm so why did any not let me know and he terminated the meeting...... how rude the least loyds bank could of done is let me know when i rang in morning so that I DONT WASTE MY TIME. Was gonna open an account now i never will with this bank.

The staff works very hard and they are delightful. It is the people at the top who reduce the number of people on the till. One person has to do everything. It is the same everywhere in this country. Get the most out of one person and the hell with the workers and the customers. Make profit. Obey and worship the money god at all costs.

Popped in today to deposit my fiances cheque, because he won’t have time till next week to get into the bank. Went to the till, where a blonde woman asked to put the card into the card machine ( already with an attitude) pin, then she asked if I am the card holder. I said no, it’s my fiance’s and she started telling me that I shouldn’t have his card and definitely his pin details. She asked if I have a lloyds account, but I said I am with barclays. I told her that he asked me to do it for him as he won’t have time! She said I need to go to the machine and do it there myself because she can’t help but I shouldn’t know my fiance’s pin number. She shouldn’t be working with customers and definitely not talk to people like that without reason, and not to mention I am 8 months pregnant and I didn’t go to the bank for joy and I didn’t expect to be treated like that. I went to the machine, but I wasn’t comfortable using it, so I asked the lady at the front who was really nice and helpful, showing me what to do on the machine till the end, which I was really greatful for.

Disgusting service by rude incompetent staff. Lloyds 'Gentleman' (ponytail and shaved head) on reception, presumably there to help customers, was disinterested, unhelpful (shrugging his shoulders and telling me to go away and phone Lloyds rather than speak to him). When he finally managed to provide some sort of service (after I finally lost my patience with him), he then got it wrong by not certifying scanned documents and delaying my process by an additional four days. A complete wasted visit to the worst Lloyds I've ever been in. The Manager in this branch needs to speak to this young man. If he is incapable and more importantly, unwilling to assist customers he should not be employed by Lloyds. Disgusting service.

The new machines they use instead of people are not the best.
If you need to pay in coins you will have a wait as you have to use a cashier desk. Problems is there is normally only one staff member serving .
I believe that Barclays has let its self down by going full out with machines. The old system was proven and worked .
Barclay still offer good rates and mortgages , haven’t had any problems with staff

Poor customer services. Had to wait in waiting area for an hour to see an advisor. Ended up walking out as could have been there all night. Was originally told would be 15minutes to see someone. I just needed to update name on account. Will not be visiting this branch in the future.

Today, I went to the Enfield Town Barclays branch to put deposits into my account through the machines. Unfortunately, the machine took my cash without delivering the amount to my account and give me a receipt stating the transaction has been cancelled. Therefore, I asked for assistance and explained the situation to one of the employees (Employee 1). From that point, the employee I asked for assistance has informed his other colleague about the situation and he came back to me to let me know that they would give me call when my money is ready to pick up, which would take about 30mins. I said, I can wait, I have 30 mins to spare. After an almost hour later, another employee (Employee 2) came and filled a form and informed me that the process will take about 20 mins, so I waited for another 40-45mins. - Note that Employee 1 did not fill a form and asked me to leave. - So, I went back to the counter and informed a different employee (Employee 3) (the one I spoke before was busy with another customer) about the situation to get information about the process. She, then, spoke with her colleague (Employee 4) in one of the backrooms through little square window, where the form, we filled was passed, however, she was informed that the form was nowhere to be found! There was a discussion about where the form was with Employee 2 and she said to Employee 3 & 4 that the form was sent into the back room, and Employee 4 tried to find the form, but since they couldn’t find the form Employee 3 filled another form, and quickly sent it back to ‘backroom’, which meant I have to wait even more, so I sat down and started to wait.
At this point the branch was closed and I was the last customer left in the building, therefore Employee 1 realized I was still in the area since he left me 3 hours ago. He came up to me and asked ‘why am I still waiting for my transaction have been completed already?’ As you could guess, I was shocked and said ‘what?’. He repeated himself and Employees 2 & 3 also heard him and explained him that they have repeated the process because they have no idea that the process was completed. In order to confirm what Employee 1 was stating I logged into my account through Barclays App and saw the money was already in my account 2 hours ago. Here’s the annoying bit; at the very start I was 100% not informed that the cash will be deposited directly into my account which is why I assumed that they would hand me back the cash so I could deposit the cash again. Also, before Employee 1 told me they would give me a call to ask me to come back to the store. Since I have never experienced such situation before, naturally I did not know how the process would proceed.
After all the discussions he was having with his colleagues (Employee 2 & 3) he, then, came up to me showing the audacity to speak to me as if he’s telling me off like a little kid once again why was I still waiting? When he did not show me the courtesy to INFORM me that the problem has been solved! I was infuriated since I was in that branch from 14:20 until 17:20. However, my voice was cracked, I was snorting and my eyes were watery with a burning sensation for the past couple of hours due to hay fever, all I could do at that moment was giving him a bad look and straight went to Boots to purchase a hay fever tablet before it closes for the day. As a result, here I am leaving this review. So, here goes a massive congratulations to Barclays PLC for the most dissatisfactory customer service I have had my entire life. Improve your customer services, rather than promoting how the customers are at the center of your business model.

Not too sure why there are staff getting paid to stand around and simply refer those who are waiting in the queue to go to the online website. Apparently just about everything is online now according to them and if that is the case, then not sure why these people still have jobs. They don't try to help in the slightest or consider the fact that you have made the journey there so maybe they could still do something. They just tell you to head back and go online... Pathetic.

Piss Poor Service
The Barclays branch is open to the public and the people that work there are supposed to deliver a certain level of customer service. However, I was appalled by the level customer service I recieved when walking into this branch.
I was enquiring about opening an account with them, I was asked 'do you have an appointment and do you bank with us', I said 'no', and then was told 'can't you just ask the bank you are currently with to open this particular account'. Would I be standing at this branch if that was the case? Kmt. They took my number and said they would call me that same day to book an appointment as their was a problem with their booking system, but I was never called and I know they never had the intention to do so.
I was not greeted with a smile, no one said hi, no one was friendly and they spoke to me as if me being there was an inconvenience, like the branch was even busy, it was laughable.

I made an appointment, to find out the consultant had called in sick and i wasn't made aware. I waited at least 2 weeks to see someone in regards to fraud and all i can say for ponders end staff is that your absolutely useless. No customer service skills, and my issue was not resolved. Im fuming. Now Im going to take my issue to the Financial Conduct Authority. Hire better Staff!! Literally just a waste of time!!
