Most shockingly rude woman works there! Rather than explaining something accuses me of shouting when she is waving her arms around and shouting and then storms off out the back. Luckily there is one member of staff who is polite and able to talk to customers.

Went to the bank in order to open up a new account, my papers where checked and I specially requested an appointment for the next day at 1:30 pm so I would not have to wait because I had to be at work at 2:45. Have arrived at the bank at 13:15, the lady that made the appointment told me to have a seat and wait for 5 minute. I have waited for 25 minutes until I went back to her and she told me to wait another 5 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes then just stud up and left. That was disappointing, disrespectful and a waste of my time! I will never recommend this....

I opened a bank account with them , I received pin and card very quickly. When I went to them to activate my card one of their employees told me look something went wrong your bank account was closed...... And I still didn’t received any information/ letter with explanation why they closed it In few days after opening it ! Really ?? I will not recommend this bank to any of my family friends etc. etc.

I have banked with NatWest for fifty years. In recent years I have witnesses a steadily deteriorating level of service within the branches. The Drapery branch is no exception. The most recent refurbishment, in which the traditional tills were removed, is a customer service disaster. The new arrangement allows for absolutely no privacy and the fact that staff are often oblivious to this fact exacerbates the problem. There appears to be no consistent management of the ever longer queues, with people being taken out of the queue and given service ahead of those who were there before them. I recently observed a cashier handing a large sum of money to a customer with absolutely no exercise of discretion. It is hardly surprising that we hear news reports of people being mugged as they leave bank branches after withdrawing cash. Under the traditional till arrangement, the transaction would have taken place within the teller's domain on the other side of the screen, witnessed only by the customer. The cash would have been delivered to the customer in an envelope. Most people now understand that banks do not want customers using branches. Branches are expensive and they want to close as many as possible in order to maximise their profits. However, whilst the majority of transactions can be carried out online, there will always be a need for branches. The fact that technology has changed the face of banking is no reason for banks to assume that they can now provide the public with the dregs of a service provision at their branches.

Great bank but needs to be open longer at the weekends. How do they expect us to be able to get there when most people work the hours they are open?

Would have given zero stars. Waited 20 minutes AGAIN in the queue yesterday since you got rid of the tellers. One female teller who serving was the slowest person ever, then when she finally finished serving ONE person she tidied up and left! Despite there being a large queue of customers waiting. When I finally got to be served, the teller offered no apology for my wait and was extremely rude. I asked for the branch managers email address so I could make a complaint about the treatment I received and was told he did not know it! If I had not already had over half an hour of my time wasted by this point I would have waited to see the manager. Disgusting attitude from the tellers, and shoddy disrespectful service. Terrible.

inexperienced agent I am an international student in Northampton University and I had tried to open an account with Nat West. However, in my process the agent forced me to provide my Tax reference number (in my country). I explained for her that I didn't have that number because I didn't have job in my country. Therefore I had no idea about that number and she stopped my process. I have to emphasise that my friend studying in London can open a Nat West without providing Tax reference number and he is same like me - an international student coming from a same country. I can say that agents in Nat West Northampton aren't qualified to deal with international students. I will never recommend for my friends to open a Nat west account if they stay in Northampton.

An unbelievable lack of customer service from branch worker Julie Burgess She and others have treated me in a shocking arrogant manner. When asked why an account was closed she could not give me any explanation. Told me to return to the branch to open new account and then told I can't even do that. Prejudice was shown deliberately. Lack of care and willingness to help completely shattered my belief that TSB can provide at least decent customer service. Account closed due to fraud but they didn't want to say exactly why and how, if my personal data was protected or anything. They just told me that 'no you can't have this account and you can't make another one either, try to go to Barclaycard' . TSB asking customers to go to a rival bank? Only because the account seemed sketchy as it was not used in 3 months? As the account holder was foreign it was very clear they only wanted to get rid of the problem by calling security to escort me out after asking one too many questions as to what has happened. I have filed a lawsuit and hopefully these damages can be accounted for. TSB Weston Favell Branch is a complete joke and the way they have dealt with 'fraud' is scary, denotes carelessness and inattentiveness with no concern for the catastrophic consequences to follow. You don't allow someone to open a bank account yet you provide no back up logical explanation as to why. You say an account was closed forcefully because of fraud but cannot reassure me that all is well. You say you ' don't want to give me the information' I am rightfully allowed to demand. Poor poor service, disgusted and shocked by the pompous attitude Branch Manager Neil took on, he should in my opinion not be allowed to be in such position with arrogance bigger than any I have seen. A real shame and a unfortunate display of just how venomous staff at TSB can be. Will not bank with them and I urge you to stay away from them. When there are issues they will just discard you and tell you to go to a rival bank, they only want businessmen to open accounts not cleaners and truck drivers. Hope this is read and liked by as many, if you have experienced problems as such from TSB branch in Weston Favell please contact me as I am drafting legal proceedings and will take this public as well, people cannot be treated like this by a bank, by any business body, service provider.

Been with this bank for years. They use to be the most helpful bank. Recently went in to require a service. But they was more interested by be little me by some payments from paypal that i did to someone I felt very uncomfortable and didnt feel welcome. I all i wanted was some help and didnt get it that much. Im sorry tsb i wont be coming back after this. I might swap banks.

OMG, I did a quote on Go compare and called them back to confirm they can get the mortgage they mentioned on Go compare. They asked for phone number, email and more without giving you an idea of the mortgage you can get and then, at the end offer something far away from what they mentioned on Go compare. Also the advisor was rude.

Always long queues with staff laughing away in office behind. But no on . An be bothered to serve on the tills. Great customer service NOT! I have never been in this bank with less than a 20 minute queue

I locked myself out of the app over Christmas, so I came in today to deal with it. Had a lovely lady who was very patient with me. I think her name was Nazia. Hope she has a great 2019!!

There is a popular saying that I would paraphrase as "couldn't organise a drink-up in a brewery" and that definitely applies to NatWest at Weston Favell. During my few years of banking with them they have made so many cock-ups that it's hard to believe. The sad reality, however, is that Brits are actually more likely to divorce than they are to change banks. In the end I became so fed up with NatWest that I switched to M&S Bank, and was promptly rewarded with £125 of M&S vouchers. Happy days!

The service is good once you get to the counter but they never have enough staff on to cope with the queues.

Fantastic bank, open 7 days till late, same day account opening, first 50 transactions free each month for businesses with £5,000 balance or more, what's not to like?

New branch of Metro Bank should open soon, hopefully before end of year 2018. From my experience with other branches this is a good concept, especially opening on Saturdays and Sundays when small business owners have a breather to do some in-house admin and banking. Emphasis on online banking great but attending to telephone still needs a lot of attention. Long waiting periods. Direction good, implementation zero.

Great customer service for elderly people

My experience has been totally positive. On entering, I was greeted by the staff member who enquired as to the purpose of my visit and was directed to the waiting area where I was soon greeted by another staff and taken to a booth where I was given his full attention. All issues were efficiently dealt with and fully explained. I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and courtesy that was accorded to me.

I have visited the Northampton branch and they were all kind and nice. Especially I want to thank Jane Reboul for her kind assistance and service. Everything was clear and all my doubts were sorted in one go. The service was excellent, thank you!

Horrible service. We are in the middle of opening an account with HSBC at Northampton branch... First time after our visit, they called saying that they lost copy of ID. On a second visit, guy at the till wasn't sure if ID will work at all (although he took copy of ID and proof of address). After second visit, they called saying that they forgot to make copy of back side of ID. Terrifying...

Waited 20 mins to be told they don’t have the correct form so had to drive to the drapery branch!

Went to this branch today to deposit cash to my account and asked to explain the source . Never asked this question when depositing before so I declined to answer that question by the cashier and the Branch manager talked to me and said they have the power to refuse my deposit . If you have any suspicion about a transaction your duty is to report to the law and not ask a customer in an open bank hall. Branch manager Louise you should be ashame of your statement to me . Banked with you for year and have 3 account with your bank . DONT WALK TO A BLACK CUSTOMER AND INQUIRE WHERE HE GOT HIS MONEY FROM.

Do not use the cash deposits machines. Staff friendly but the machine takes your money and card, such a scam.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Went in to close my account, told to wait for appointment upstairs. One person was ahead of me. Waited for about an hour, nobody came in or out during that time. Tried to book an appointment via their telephone number - seems to be a call centre in India. Told that she was not able to book appointments at that branch at the moment - it’s the main Town Centre branch!! Unable to give zero stars!!!

Such a shame there closing, all the staff in there are super helpful and always friendly, the new young man made my little 2 year old daughters day by giving her a baloon with flitting inside today. AS the branch is closing November 2019 the attitude of the staff is extremely unhelpful. I asked for £30.00 in 50p pieces, they said the whole of the branch had no 50p whatsoever. We are holding a Charity function on Saturday for Dementia and need the 50p coins for change, asked if we could give them 3 days notice to get some in so that I may collect from my local branch, was told NO, go to head office. Not impressed with the Halifax whatsoever, I feel sorry that the branch is closing but maybe a little more respect and helpfullness would go a longway in my sympathies.

Brilliant Service. Helpful behind the desk. Those who rated poorly were clearly angry about their whole day and blamed Halifax for it.

Visited this branch last Friday at midday to use the cash machine. The machine was out of service, but this wasn't evident. When I went into the branch to retrieve my card the staff had a bad attitude and were incredibly rude. I will not be returning to this branch in future.
