5 stars all round for all members of staff, nothing is too much trouble, service always with a smile, Nick is a great guy who will go the extra mile to assist in any way he can and same is said of his staff.........I had a query which he answered in less than 2 mins.......(shopping centre didnt have a clue) no wonder this is a busy branch as customer service clearly very important with Nick and his staff....this is the only post office I will use.

Always long ques which don't seem to be recognised by the staff as they talk amongst themselves. Called there Saturday at 1-45 to post a parcel as website said it was open till 2-30 but was already shut.

This shop seems like it’s been here forever. We live not too far away and use it anytime we sell something on eBay or have anything to post off as they treat and help you very well. Staff who work on both the post office and the main spar shop are very caring and pleasant. Would reccomend to anyone who uses the postage service a lot, these guys are quick to serve and very reasonably priced.

Firstly great people, customers and staff in all the shops are friendly and helpful in hartlepool. There's a variety of shops and cafes, snacks on the go, and if you want a real bargain, its worth trying out some of the charity shops too. Parking is free after 3! Hartlepool is a great place for Christmas shopping .

I just took my mam out for her birthday here and she loved it. Great centre. great prices.

Not the biggest shopping mall in the world but very tidy and has as many different types of shop as you could possibly need, you will find what you are looking for at Middleton Grange. Many options for lunch aswell as reasonable priced parking. A Generally good layout easy to find your way about, family friendly.

Thoroughly depressing. Way too many vacant units and pasty munchers. The McDonald's kiosk seems to be the busiest spot. Wouldn't be surprised if they had switched the trademark happy meals for melancholy meals in this place.

I hate shopping centers. This wasn't too bad an experience though. Clean, well kept and well run. I still hate shopping centers though!

Great staff, friendly and helpful... However only 2 tills open (no supervision) and both self service booths broken. This was at lunchtime with a queue over 20 people! Very poor for both the staff and customers

Absolute joke of a place. Had one hour dinner break and spent half hour in a queue but got nowhere. No staff, ones drinking tea and ones helping on self service. Around 15 people in queue and no one came to the tills, staff were not bothered and customers just walked out as well as me. Close the place down if your not going to staff it

Be aware of this post office. They have charged me three different prices in the same week to send the same book in a large letter that weights under 500g and changed me the price of a small parcel last time. They are being reported to royal mail!

Seriously miserable staff in the shop, post office is alright but the spar staff aren't.

Absolutely rubbish! Waited in for a couple hours for a delivery and I get an email saying the parcel was delivered and signed for. Someone had signed for the parcel under my name. Anyway, I get to the sorting office to explain and I was told that the post man had delivered the parcel to the wrong address and had it signed for (so someone has tried their luck) and then realised he'd sent it to the wrong address. I now have to wait to collect it another day.

20 mile round trip to pick a parcel up every time I'm not in all because of my postcode being TS28. At least 10 post offices near by also. Dogcrap privatisation. Thanks.

Waiting on parcel that was ment to be delivered last week tried phoning them sat on hold almost 2 hours, to have the phone put down on me. Cant even do the job there ment to be doing delivering parcels on time

Only open late one night a week. What is all that about. 99% of people have work all through the week so on a Wednesday the entirety of Hartlepool is qued outside the post office at 6pm in all weathers. It's absurd. I've lived in many British towns but this is by far the worst depot times I've come across. Pathetic.

Waited in a queue, outside, in the cold, for 40 minutes. There needs to be some better arrangement than this.

Some of the item that I’m looking for are out of stock and sometimes the staff are rude and suspicious of certain customer types.

Advertised as open, wasn't. Wasted journey walking 30 minutes in bad weather with small children

Website states opening times as 0800 -1900 this is not the case the post office shuts at 5.30, staff in shop not helpful at all, I think they need to change the times on the website so people aren't mislead

Never thought I would have to go to a food bank but universal credit gave me no other option..Visited the food bank today for the first time and I was treated with respect by the helpful and non judgemental staff who work there .Thank you

Staff shot your shopping at you for you to pack before you even get your full shop on. I had a check-out operator scan my full shop and it was there waiting for me at the bottom to pack before I'd even got my full shop on I had my bags for life ready on my trolley for after I'd put it all on. She said do I need bags I said no I have some. Then she proceeded to scan my full shop through I asked her to hold on a minute and wait for me to get there and she said we have scanning speeds we need to stick to or we get in trouble. Get better service at Aldi at least they only have a small space to put your shopping on and can't add no more. Updated January 2020 Staff on till are still shotting shopping at you to pack and have terrible customer service

There is nothing wrong with the Asda store itself per say, it's the location which is the issue, the other shops around Asda all suffer rfrom the same issue.......Boots. I'm not native to Hartlepool and won't be staying here long as the area is plagued by scum of the earth smackheads, so what does Boots do, it offers at its store the midnight pharmacy, which is basically code for smackheads methadone collection which is lovely for all the family to see whilst out shopping!!!

Why is the asda always low on stock emty shelfs etc this is not the case with asda portrack Stockton

Very poor service, disgusting food, ordered baked potato with cheese and beans, told later their was no cheese left and was not allowed to get any from the store! Ordered all day breakfast, never had chips for breakfast before . Egg burnt and like rubber, sausages deep fried to death. Worst meals we have ever had. Will never eat in their again. Supermarket should take steps to protect their image.

I had the same experience as the last customer's comments. Staff taking to each other about where they were going while serving me. Also they can't be bothered to serve . The male staff are pleasant and obligingly when they serve you . I am a long standing customer . In fact the older lady in charge asks each time , why I don't go to a different branch where I have a apartment . Instead of making my books up to date in Hartlepool . They have not been busy when i have called .

I went into branch today to enquire why a considerable amount of my money that i needed to pay rent with still wasn't showing in my account after almost an hour. When i got into the branch there was no que but i was still left standing for 3-4 minutes waiting for a colleague to finish what ever ot was she was doing and her conversation which another colleague. When i eventually got seen she had a very laid back attitude and i had to actually repeat on her request to re-explain what id already told her because she clearly wasn't listening, so i did her attitude was shocking she just kept saying there was nothing she could do with a shocking attitude. I was understandably, very irate at this point and did state that i thought it was absolutely rediculous and walked out of branch. I thought id have a bit better luck with the phone team so i rang the first number i googled unfortunately i didn't realise at the time that i had my location settings turned on and the 0800 number i rang was for the branch id just been into it wasnt until i was half way throught the call and was greeted with the exact same shocking attitude and the "customer services" advisor actually said "you've just been into branch and spoken to me and i've already told you there is nothing we can do and i don't want to listen to you any more and i won't ill put the phone down on you if you continue with this attitude, the customer that was in branch even said that i didn't deserve to be spoken to the way you spoke to me." I must clarify that yes i was a little short due to the panic because of the situation and being entaganised by a supposed professional member of a banking team but i wasn't in anyway abusive. Needless to say i felt like i was in the school yard arguing with a teenager not speaking with customer services personel. I demanded that she would listen to me and i wanted to have the matter sorted out but before i could even finish that sentence she groaned down the phone and said to her colleague " oh i can't be arsed to talk to her." And put the phone down on me. To say i am furious about the situation is an understatement. If i spoke to one of my customers like that once let alone on more than 1 occasion regardless if the customer had an attitude with me i would have been let go on the spot.
